Great easy read to follow them on there erotic journey.
Sophia continues on her sexual adventures across the globe. Charlie, the pilot who received her diary, continues to follow to the countries in her diary. He finally gets to the final destination with the hopes of more to come. Very enjoyable to read about the sexual adventures of Sophia and Charlie.
He keeps going to find the stewardess.
As Charlie’s keeps going to the different locations the stewardess keeps her exploits going but she’s getting more and more racy. Charlie wants to find her to see who she is! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book
SM Pratt, The Stewardess’s Diary, part X (Spain) (332 pag).
As an ARC reader I received a free copy. I promised a review. Here it is.
For me English is a foreign language. Sorry for the errors.
In general: Last episode shows no loss of high quality.
Main characters:
– Charlie, a veteran pilot for an international airline; narrator in this book.
– Mystery stewardess, writes a diary about her sexual adventures during 10 trips, told in 10 episodes. This book is the 10th trip (to Spain, San Sebastian or Donostia as the local Basques call it).
Charlie discovered the very personal journal in his briefcase. He has no idea how it appeared in his possession. He reads the diary and he has mixed feelings. The mystery stewardess should be punished for her sexual behavior and the way she ignores airline regulations, but he is also fascinated by her sexual exploits, her willingness to experiment and her changing opinion about relations, while gradually loosing her naivete during the 10 episodes.
Since the trip to France (part 7) readers can know that the name of the mystery stewardess is Sophia or Sofie. In the long episode 10 Sophia travels to San Sebastian (Donostia), her favorite town in Spain. She enjoys a holiday for a few weeks. Swimming, sunbathing, reading books on the the splendid beaches near the centre of Donostia, watching people from a terrace along the breathtaking, crescent boulevard of her beloved city and thinking about an important decision she has to make.
But completely unexpected she falls in love with Virginia, the sister of her landlord Eduardo. Virginia paints under the pseudonym Valentina. She is very talented, looks gorgeous and loves her freedom. Married young, monogamy didn’t satisfy her and her husband, so she had a divorce. When she meets Sophia her children are grown up and study in other cities. After her divorce she had many love affairs with men and women. And she doesn’t want a permanent relationship. This creates a problem. Sophia also loves her freedom and – as we know from her diary – developed her independence, experienced in all kinds of relations and is wary of longterm relations.
Shortly after meeting each other, they go to one of the famous beaches of he city, where topless swimwear is normal. At a certain moment the topless Sophia leaves the waves like Botticelli’s Venus. Virginia, watching her from the beach, is very impressed by Sophia’s gorgeous body and invites her to her studio in the mountains, to model for a portrait in the nude.
Mlle Pratt descibes very credibly – and with feeling – their growing love. Their doubts, their uncertainties (with all their experience) and – last but not least – their burning passion. The plot is original and is placed in an interesting scenery. And contains many hot scenes.
At the end of this episode in the diary we don’t know exactly how the love between Sophia and Virginia will be in the future; we only know that Sophia has made an important decision, but about what? Accept her aunts inheritance or going for a longterm engagement with Virginia? Or seduce pilot Charlie? We have to read the next book of M S Pratt to find answers. And we do so with pleasure, for in contrast to many other episodic novels, Mlle Pratt’s book shows no signs of losing the high quality of the former episodes.
Charlie travels to Spain to continue his research. He’s still obsessed with discovering Sophia’s identity. He makes a reservation in her former holidays-apartment. So he meets Eduardo and later his sister, Virginia. Charlie and Virginia have a long conversation in the bar of Virginia’s long-time friend with benefits, JuanMa.
Virginia hesitates to tell Charlie the full name and address of Sophia:
– she is a bit jealous, perhaps Sophia will love Charlie more than her,
– she knows of Charlie’s ‘bad boy’-reputation and fears that he will hurt Sophia.
Charlie has to prove that he’s serious and is “worth her”, so she’ll test him.
These tests are very interesting and bring Charlie, among other places, in Virginia’s home in the mountains. The ultimate test is that Virginia at first hand experiences if Charlie is a good lover. Charlie makes a great performance, recorded by Virginia’s neighbor. Virginia mails this recording to Sophia and – later – arranges a meeting for Charlie and Sophia at the airport of Madrid, where they both have a plane to catch.
At last Charlie meets Sophia Andres Vazquez, his mystery stewardess.
They talk about their future. In the next book the reader can learn more about that. And this reader looks forward to it, for Charlie’s story was also a very pleasant read again. Interesting plot, good dialogues and hot, sexy action.
I doubt only one scene: During Charlie’s search for a clue about Sophia, that Virginia demanded from him as a part of the test, he visits the holiday-apartment in which Sophia lived a year before. The current tenant is a Russian hooker, Andrea. Charlie pays her for sex. I don’t believe this activity improved Charlie’s ‘bad boy’-image. And he wanted to show Virginia (and Sophia) that his intentions were improving (?!)
But in general, Charlie’s adventures too, result in a reader looking forward to the next book: The Diary Obsession, episode I. The more after reading Sophia’s letter to Charlie, which I downloaded at the end of The Stewardess’s Diary, part 10.
