S M Pratt, The Stewardess’s Diary IV – USA (Los Angeles), (114 pag)
As an ARC reader I received a free copy. I promised a review. Here it is.
For me English is a foreign language. So, sorry for the mistakes.
In general: Credible plot in audition-description of stewardess growing to adulthood
Main characters:
– Charlie, a veteran pilot for an international airline; narrator in this book.
– Mystery stewardess, writes a diary about her sexual adventures during 10 trips, told in 10 episodes. This book is the fourth trip (to LA with it’s film industry).
Charlie discovered the very personal journal in his briefcase. He has no idea how it appeared in his possession. He reads the diary and he has mixed feelings. The mystery stewardess should be punished for her sexual behavior and the way she ignores airline regulations, but he is also fascinated by her sexual exploits, her willingness to experiment and her changing opinion about relations and love, while gradually loosing her naivete during the 10 episodes.
In the 4th book the stewardess’s flight is to LA. She’ll be seeing Katrina an old friend from school. Katrina works in a bar but has the ambition to become an actress.
During the flight the mysterious diary author gets a conversation with a young, good looking man, sitting next to a gorguous, exotic girl. He tells her he is a casting director. He invites the stewardess and the exotic girl to participate next day in an audition for acting in a publicity campaign for a flight school. The stewardess asks if her friend with acting dreams can come too.
After arriving in LA she meets a good looking Katrina, who is very enthousiastic about the coming audition. In LA she already had many auditions (almost all unsuccessful). She advises the stewardess to wear sexy clothes to the happening.
Next day is the audition. About 50 women are present. During the day the mystery stewardess describes a lot of selections. All the selection-tests are filmed. There is a lot of changing clothes (without rooms to change). The compulsory clothing shows more and more skin of the participating girls. For example: They have to take their bra’s off to show the casting director (indeed the passenger from the plane) a tattoo on the breast. The stewardess flirts a bit with the cute director and the stewardess and her friend pass the next selections without a problem. During the filming of other candidates the stewardess watches discretely the recordings. The camera’s film especially nude breasts and bums. So she concludes that it is not a serious audition but more likely making porn video’s for low costs. But she stays. She will not shatter her friends hopes and perhaps she can date the flirting casting director. Katrina keeps hoping for acting in the publicity campaign. If not she perhaps can score a date with a very sexy looking instructor she meets during the tests.
At the end of the audition the stewardess tells openly the casting director that she knoes there will be no publicity campaign acting, but she stayed to have sex with him. During this activity she reaches a very pleasant orgasm. And Katrina gets her date.
Afterwards – as expected – they hear nothing about the results of the audition. But returning home the stewardess can look back on a interesting visit to her old friend.
After reading this chapter in the diary Charlie is going to LA to investigate the identity of the unknown stewardess. He speaks with many casting people. But no results. Then he looks in a porn shop if there are porn videos about flight schools and stewardesses. He leases some DVD’s and VCR’s. And he has success. A VCR is clearly about the audition the stewardess described in her diary. But the VCR-player crashes and the tape burns beyond repair. So again he fails in discovering the identity of his mysterious stewardess. But – as comfort – he has a pleasant, short sex experience with the porn shop assistant.
Reading book 4 was nice. The personality of the stewardess shows her growing self esteem and her increasing confidence about her body. She’s clearly less naive than during the start of the story. The described audition scenes are real in the current ‘me-too’-times and still have humour. Charlie’s constant ‘research bad luck’ becomes somewhat predictable but is needed for the plot of the whole 10 parts story. So I’m looking forward to book 5.

Fun erotica EXCEPT – I want a story to have a beginning, a full story and an ending. This is a ploy to force you to buy more books to find an ending. I won’t be buying the rest.
Applies to series: the premises are homophobic, transphobic, racist, and hollow; the dude is a misogynistic pile of junk; and the smut isn’t even good.
This is not a romance novel. It is erotica that has a cliffhanger ending to get you to read the next in the series. No HEA.
Far fetched
Did not like the non ending. I didn’t care to read 2 more books to find out how the characters finally connected.
Sorry – this series was about the dumbest set of books I’ve read….I read thru book 5 just to see how many sex scenes could be thrown in there!
Life is all about fun, isn’t it? 10 GOLD STARS
WOW! WHAT A TRIPTACULAR ADVENTURE!!! Who knew reading a diary could be so incredibly HOT & awesome & naughtylicious!! When I first discovered this series, I never would have predicted that I would – that I could – love it as much as I do!! I actually read this series by each individual release of the 10 parts and I love, Love, LOVED IT!!! Each episode is divided into two parts – living the stewardess’ diary entries with her, as they happen, and living Charlie’s part as he tries to find the stewardess by retracing her steps. With the creativity of each “chapter” being a specific time/diary entry, the story flawlessly flows from location to location, viewpoint to viewpoint and book to book! It’s not very often I read an erotic book from the male character’s pov, let alone love it as much as I did the female character’s pov! S.M. Pratt does both sides so well it’s like it is written by both a female and a male! I love how drawn to both characters I am, thoroughly & immensely enjoying both sides for the same reasons and yet for very different ones too! Being able to live vicariously through the Stewardess is a true treat (even if it does make me very envious! And a tad jealous, too! LOL) and one that completely consumes me most every single time! But then living Charlie’s adventures with him, joining in on his obsession with the Stewardess, trying to figure out my/her name, playing detective and trying to find me/her, connects me to Charlie in ways that are hard to explain or define, but definitely enriches & enhances the entire experience, taking it all, taking ME to sky high levels, making me feel like I all but joined the Mile High Club! S.M. Pratt is one tremendously talented author with a genuine gift for creating intriguing, ingeniously & wholly original, hot stories that I cannot put down!! It will have you laughing, swooning, drooling, taking many cold showers, all while captivating you with her enriched storytelling told in a unique diary format from The Stewardess and the Captain who is obsessed with finding her and claiming her for himself… Or to at least share a diary entry together!! There is so much more I could share with you about this series, but I will stop here because instead of reading my review ABOUT the book, you should be buying and reading the much more entertaining & highly gratifying complete season of The Stewardess’s Diary because it is one brilliant & ingenious series like no other!!
