When I started reading this story, I was a bit of afraid that it would be hard to read because some of the words that are used in this story were hard to remember along with their meanings, but I was glad to see that it was much easier to read than I thought.
The heroine of this story is Annie, who is the witch of their small mountain village. She is areally powerful character, who has her own opinions and always look after the needs of those in need. I loved learning everything that happened around her and how it all just made her even stronger. She is a well written and very likable character.
The hero Wes, who is the Great Spirit was strong, but at the same time I liked how he seems to be even more when he was together with Annie. Upon meeting Annie the chemistry between our hero and heroine was so strong and intense I found myself blushing! I really enjoy watching the intensity grow with each page.
I found the plot to be really interesting to read, it made me want to gobble up the pages as quickly as possible. I am glad that there will be more to this story to come! I think this story is perfect to everyone who love stories with fantasy and romance the kind that pull you inside the pages and spit you out once the book is done longing for more of the story.
I am giving this story Five out of Five Cupcakes!
The plot was well written and well planned with paranormal characters that were so well created that I was glued to my kindle throughout the entire book!
In all honesty, I couldn’t finish this one. It’s a very slow start. I didn’t understand half of what was happening. When I got farther into the story, the unfamiliar words just made it worse for me and I became more lost. Yes, there is a glossary for the foreign words, but who wants to stop the check a meaning? This book is definitely not for me. Remember, I did NOT finish this book, so I would suggest that you read it for yourself and form your own opinion.
Wes and Annie’s story is amazing. I love mystical stories and the lessons they teach. This will be an incredible saga when all is said and done.
To protect her village, Annie calls on the spirits for help. Weshemoneto answers her plea. Known as The Great Spirit, he has the ability to help. Wes and Annie make a bargain. A bargain that may cause a heart lost to love.
This book had it all. I felt like I was in the story. Harper Jameson gave such vivid descriptions that I was entranced.
Annie and Wes come from 2 different worlds. However, these 2 need each other. They love each other but they also love their own people. They had incredible chemistry and had to overcome so many obstacles.
This was a paranormal romance that was incredible. I loved every minute of it and look forward to more from this author.
An interesting and unique fantasy story that I’m still not sure how I feel about to be honest. I like the mythology and the way the story played out. I’m just not sure how I feel about the characters themselves.
Overall though it was good and definitely intriguing!
