Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.Savannah I’m the one who broke up the golden couple. The woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to. Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town’s golden boy on vacation from college? Yes. Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly. Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me … close. He got engaged right in front of me and then his father threw two hundred dollars at me and told me to take the trash out.
So, I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff.
It was going great, everything was working out till my lie got out.
Beau
I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.
Until I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
My brother has a son, not just any son but a son with the woman who was my best friend.
The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.
I need to protect her and in order to do that, we need to get married.
Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.

Can you weather the storm? There’s a big one brewing. Southern Storm is full of drama, love, sexy times and suspense. Natasha takes you on one hell of a ride.
I have been waiting with bated breath for Beau and Savannahs story and how it would play out. Its a doozy. I could not put it down, in fact it had me so engrossed I finished it in only a couple of hours. I love these two together. Beau is the light in her darkness, her knight in shining armour and he will sheild her from all the thunder and lightning and those that try to hurt her. He is that protective alpha you want riding the storm with and he does that and so much more. He loves Savannah to the ends of the earth. Savannah is such a kick ass character, beaten down, hated but she has so much courage and a heart of gold and with Beau by her side she can accomplish anything.
I must say though Beaus family… a bunch of total scumbags and that epilogue bombshell with Ethan …. I want his book now.
Swoon city!!! Beau is fiercely loyal to Savannah and has loved her forever. Savannah is the example of strong and independent. Their story of love and happiness is rough but so amazing.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
This is not a stand alone story, it is book 3 and it begins just as book 2 has ended. You MUST read all three stories and in order to understand the characters connections to each other and the secrets and what they mean for all the characters. It is a wonderful story and its told beautfully and the author did an amazing job with this entire series.
This book starts right at the end of book 2 where Beau has just discovered Savannah’s HUGE secret and its really painful for him to learn it. But what a guy he is. I was amazed at his strength and dedication to Savannah and Ethan.
In this story we really understand why Jacob did what he did in the first book and I loved how we start to see how all the characters start to understand what Savannah was up against and why she did what she did back in high school and we fall in love with her because of her strength and love for her son and Beau.
I just knew I was going to love everything about Beau and Savannah’s love story. Best friends since they were children and secretly in love with each other as well, but to stubborn to own their feelings.
Savannah is a single mom, raising her son alongside the baby’s father Jacob and her best friend Beau, that is, until, the truth that they’ve kept hidden for almost a decade threatens to destroy everything.
Beau is a good, good man, his relationship with and feelings for his best friend are complicated but when he finds out what she’s been forced to keep secret, he steps up and does whatever it takes, to make things better.
Southern Storm Book 3 of Natasha Madison’s Southern Series will answer any lingering questions you may have after reading Books 1 and 2, while giving you Savannah and Beau’s much deserved happily ever after. I highly recommend you read the first two books in the series and then this one – enjoy!
Savannah and Beau’s story is one fraught with hidden feelings, anxieties and deep bonds of friendship. It underlines how family can be forged through bonds that do not necessarily come from blood, but from choice.
I enjoyed this quick, romantic read, and my heart went out to Savannah. Beau is just a gorgeous hero and would be a wonderful addition to anyone’s life. Theirs is a happy ending which is hard won
Absolutely loved it and you’re going to need a strong seatbelt for this ride! Southern Storm is the book I’ve been waiting for since this series began and I was NOT disappointed. This book was beautifully written and the story unfolded perfectly. I couldn’t put it down until I knew how everything panned out and even then, I couldn’t get enough. For an author to be able to write a character that you despise SO strongly in one book, then they turn it around and open your heart to them later…that’s a true achievement and a testament to their writing skills, but that’s exactly what happened with Southern Storm!
Southern Storm is the third book in Natasha’s Southern Series, and this is where we finally get Savannah’s story!
Having hated Savannah with a passion throughout the first 2 books, I was eager to see how Natasha redeemed her. I knew she would as she did the same with Samantha in her Love Story series.
Savannah is the town outcast, the girl responsible for breaking up the towns golden couple as a scared teenager having just found out she was pregnant, and she has never been able to shake the past.
Beau is one of the towns most loved residents. The next in line to take up the Mayors spot from his father, he’s the most eligible bachelor in town.
These two have been unknowingly in love with each other their whole lives, and even though they’re just friends, they have the potential to be so much more.
But secrets never stay buried in the south…
When Beau discovers the truth about Savannah, will this destroy any hope they secretly had of a future together, or will this push them to admit their true feelings?
Natasha has done it again! She did it with Samantha in Broken Love Story, the book that became my favourite in the series, and now we have Savannah and Beaus story, and it’s most definitely my favourite of the books so far!
The characters are both complete opposites and on paper shouldn’t work at all, but Natasha has this knack of being able to see past the surface with her characters and develop the most amazing relationships! This book had everything, from the raw emotion to suspense that had me gripped desperately trying to work out what was going on! The connection these characters shared was electrifying, oozing heat and passion from each encounter!
I love this book so so much, I was so sad when it ended!

Southern Storm is the third book in the Southern Series. I honestly went into this book unsure how I would feel about the heroine. From the previous titles in this series we know that Savannah is a battler, a survivor who has made some questionable choices. I shouldn’t have doubted Natasha Madison’s ability to create a complex, yet endearing character.
Savannah didn’t have an easy childhood and was desperate for love and affection, but found it in the arms of the wrong man. She resigned herself to a life of lines as a punishment for her choices. She’s a strong, resilient and hardworking heroine, who always puts her child’s needs before her own.
Beau has a heart of gold. He’s protective, kind, caring and compassionate, but above all incredibly loyal. He’s a caretaker, so his role as the town mayor is perfect for him. He’s patient and loving, and basically perfection when it comes to a book boyfriend.
Southern Storm is an emotional and heartfelt story of hate, hope and love! With equal parts angst, heart, and happiness, I will be eagerly awaiting the next title in this series, featuring Ethan all grown up.
I didn’t expect to finish this book in one sitting. I didn’t expect to be up until 3am finishing this. I also didn’t expect to love this so very much.
I came to the Southern Series a book late, so I missed the drama surrounding this couple. But I didn’t feel short changed in any way.
Best friends to lovers (with an extra trope thrown in there that I won’t say because spoilers) isn’t always my jam, but something about the way Natasha Madison writes them..I’m weak.
Savanah and Beau have been friends forever. They’ve also been in love with each other forever. But things have been keeping them apart. Then the secrets start to fall. And things start happening around town.
I was gripped by this for sure. I CANNOT wait for Southern Sunrise.

Southern Storm by Natasha Madison is the third book in the Southern series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the others in the series as well.
I’m going to be 100% honest in saying I didn’t know if Ms. Madison was going to be able to change my view on Savannah. Would I even like her? Would knowing more about her change my mind? Even with all of that running through my mind, I dove in head first so excited. I should’ve known that Ms. Madison would be able to change my mind. I seriously loved Savannah and knowing all she went through had my heart breaking. Beau was the perfect hero-strong, sweet, and had a heart of gold. But when he finds out the truth-it may just break him.
This book was AMAZING! The writing was exceptional, the characters were incredible, and the storyline was gripping. Highly recommend reading this book!
So, to start with, I was a tad bit ambivalent toward Savannah (okay, I’ll admit it….I REALLY didn’t like her AT ALL) and I was kinda nervous to read Southern Storm (#3 in the Southern Series) as I knew this was to be about Savannah and Beau, who I LOVED from reading about him in the previous Southern Series books. I was nervous that my feelings about Savannah would taint how I accepted her and Beau as a couple…but I SHOULDN’T have had a single doubt! I should’ve KNOWN that Natasha Madison was going to end up making me feel sorry for her, LOVING her even! And that’s EXACTLY what she did! My heart shattered sooooooo many times for the woman who I’d previously thought of as a self-centered she-devil, more concerned about saving her own tail than what her actions were doing to the people around her who stood up for her and believed in her! The things that she had to deal with! Things that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy, things that would make a lesser woman run far, FAR away! I’ve never been so happy to be proven so wrong!
The hits start in the very first chapter and keep on coming! The angst and emotions, the heart-searing FEELS in this one had me swearing at my kindle, wanting to toss it across the room in anger yet I couldn’t STOP reading it! I HAD to find out how it would end, how the swoon-worthy Beau would eventually convince Savannah he was for real and wasn’t going anywhere! *sigh* And I can’t tell you how often I had to fan myself from the HAWT-as-heck sexy times!
With every book in this series, each one better than the one before, I find myself more and more invested in these characters created by an author who just keeps getting better and better with every single book she writes! I can’t WAIT for the next book in this FANTASTICALLY well-written, heart-stoppingly good series! I need it NOW!
This series just keeps getting better! Southern Storm brings us Savannah and Beau’s story. I’ll admit I wasn’t sure I wanted a story for Savannah after all she had done. I totally changed my mind however after reading all she has no gone thru and does go thru in this book because of her actions. It is heartbreaking and you just want to give her a hug! Beau is a perfect gentle alpha and there couldn’t be a better match for Savannah. Another great addition to this series and I look forward to more!
Ever since I’ve read the first book in this series, I just knew that it was something special. The author cannot seem to do anything wrong as I just cannot get enough off of her books. Loved Savannah and Beau’s story! It was also another reminder that what is meant to be will always find a way. I cannot wait to read the next one in this series!
Beau has been in love with Savannah all his life but is afraid to say anything to her and admit what he has known for a long time. They’ve been best friends since they were kids and when the going gets tough yet again for her, he’ll be there no matter what happens next. When he finds out the truth about Ethan, he doesn’t know how to handle it but it’s nothing compared to what Savannah is still facing in this small town. No matter how hard she tries, nothing seems to go right and when danger is lurking even closer, she’s facing even harder times. With Beau by her side, their bond grows even deeper and maybe, just maybe, both will finally give in to their feelings. But will Beau be able to keep Savannah safe from harm?…
I knew going into Savannah and Beau’s book I knew this one would be emotional and a wild ride. If you’ve read the previous two books of this series you know some of their history. Southern Storm picks up right where everything was left at the end of book two.
Savannah is the black sheep of the town. She doesn’t have the best reputation. Her family life wasn’t the best growing up. I wasn’t a big fan of her based on what information was given in the previous books, however, I felt for her. She struggled. She rose above what everything thought of her and did well for herself and for her son. Beau is now the mayor. He is Savannah’s best friend and really one of her only friends. She’s the girl who he’s crushed on since they were kids, but never could tell her how he really felt.
Savannah and Beau have loads of chemistry. I loved their friendship. You can tell how much Beau loves and cares for not only Savannah, but also for Ethan. He proved numerous times that he would do anything to protect them. Savannah has crushed on Beau forever, but she didn’t think they could ever be anything more than friends. Their relationship wasn’t always the best, but they kept going and came out stronger.
I didn’t think I’d like Savannah, but by the end I did. I loved Beau even more than I did before. Though, like the previous books this one ends with a little truth bomb being dropped and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Southern Storm was full of twists, turns, romance, love, and truth. This one is a MUST READ!
Finally!! I feel like I’ve been waiting for Savannah’s story forbloodyever! I was not Savannah’s biggest fan to start with but she’s slowly been winning me over with each book in this series. With Southern Storm she made me fall in love with her. She’s put up with so much, she’s been beaten down, talked about, shunned to a degree but she’s always carried on and I couldn’t help but admire her. She’s been keeping secrets though and when those secrets come out it sets off a chain reaction and also gives new Mayor and Savannah’s life long friend Beau the perfect opportunity to do what he’s always wanted.
Beau is positively swoon worthy. He’s been in love with Savannah forever but things have always been platonic between them for one reason or another. Once he learns Savannah’s truths and realises that she’s been targeted his protective instincts come out and suddenly he’s all in and determined to protect her.
I adore this series and I never expected to like Savannah but after reading her story, seeing the mistakes she’s made and how she’s tried so hard to change her life around, I’m definitely a fan of hers now. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for more from this series.
This is the 3rd book in this awesome series and is Savannah and Beau’s story. Savannah is the girl we all loved to hate, but my word, my heart broke for her in this story. Savanna and Beau have been best friends since childhood despite coming from completely different backgrounds, and now a single mom who has made some poor choices, what will this do to their friendship when secrets are revealed? This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster journey throughout as well as having heartbreak, secrets, suspense, mystery, and love. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner and in my opinion, this talented author has outdone herself in penning this tale.
I just love it when authors prove me wrong because I was sure there is NO WAY for me to love Savannah…but I’m not sure why I was surprised really because if there is one this Natasha Madison knows is her writing.
I suspected that there was more to the story with Savannah. It was really tough to read how lonely she was since she was a child. My heart was hurting for her when she finally told Beau everything. And let talk about Beau for a minute; that man is something else. I love him and the way he kept protecting her no matter what. If there ever was a man who was worth swooning over it’s him… “My life is wherever she is.”
The road to the HEA was not a smooth one but in the end it was worth every fall and tear. Now the dreaded wait for the final book in the series…my tissues are ready

I knew I was not going to be prepared for this book and I was right! Beau and Savannah’s story was amazing! SO MANY EMOTIONS! You need to read the first two books in the Southern Series before reading Southern Storm to fully appreciate the beautifulness that is this story. I don’t like spoilers or giving away the plot in reviews, but this is a must-read book! FIVE HUGE STARS!!!
I’m not sure if I want to kidnap Beau or Jacob I am going to read his story next. As usual, I sort of jumped in blindly but oh what a splash.
Let’s talk Mr. Mayor. Beau… He has loved Savannah from the first moment her foot met his dangly bits – no seriously. Years ago she had a child with his best friend Jacob or so he believed … and the unraveling of that truth is how this story begins.
Savannah from what I gathered has a history of crafting problems (she was young and I don’t have all the deets so not judging her past, heaven knows we all blunder) Savannah was in love with Beau – heart, and soul. He was her best friend, her shoulder she knew she could never tell him – a little piece of him was far better than nothing at all. Then fate played her hand and Savannah lost everything.
Just as the lies are unraveling and friendships are being tested someone has decided Savannah needs to go.
Can Beau stop the culprit?
Will he find a way to tell Savannah the truth?
Or will her life be forfeit?
I’m gonna admit Savannah at times irked me. Girl you have stood tall and strong for eight years and now you are gonna tuck tail and run?
And don’t you dare question yourself. He signed away all rights. Don’t let simple-minded self-righteous folks dictate the direction you take your life.
Beau … you are perfect
I can’t say what exactly invested me so completely in this read.
Characters – Absolutely
The small-town feel – One of my faves
The slightly impossible possibilities – Yes mam
I do know I read this in one sitting and I want more
More of the laughs
More of the friendships
just More
5 Super stormy stars.
There’s been a lot said about Savannah in the previous two books to Southern Storm. Some were bad, so bad, it was hard to like her. Thankfully, Natasha Madison is a skilled writer and I’m now on #teamSavannah.
So, even though she made a mistake, she tried her best and for all her misjudgments, she loved Beau. He was the one she wanted to help her eight years ago, but Jacob was there and then it just spiraled out of control.
Being from the wrong side of town and mostly hated was hard on her and we get to see that here, in her and Beau’s story.
It’s a slow-burning, angsty, sexy story filled with suspense and calamity. When Beau gets the chance to stand up for Savannah her takes it and holds on for dear life. He’s loved her since forever and hasn’t been able to tell her the truth.
Theirs was a special love and it was wonderful watching them find each other and get their happy ever after, even if the road to it was rocky at times. They weathered the storms though and they’re still standing and my heart couldn’t be happier for them!
