Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.Savannah I’m the one who broke up the golden couple. The woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to. Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town’s golden boy on vacation from college? Yes. Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly. Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me … close. He got engaged right in front of me and then his father threw two hundred dollars at me and told me to take the trash out.
So, I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff.
It was going great, everything was working out till my lie got out.
Beau
I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.
Until I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
My brother has a son, not just any son but a son with the woman who was my best friend.
The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.
I need to protect her and in order to do that, we need to get married.
Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.

I didn’t know how Natasha Madison was going to do it. How was she going to make us love a heroine that was so unlovable from previous books? She spun her book writing magic and made it happen! I loved Beau and Savannah’s story and loved catching up with past book characters. I can’t wait for the epic conclusion to this series. If you haven’t started it, don’t waste another second. Start now!
Southern Storm is an intoxicating new installment in the Southern series. Natasha Madison gives us another wonderful love story that will keep you intrigued the whole time. Beau and Savannah are childhood best friends who have always crushed on each other. Secrets are what keeps them from becoming something more. After the truth starts to unravel and the picture becomes clear will these two get a happily ever after? This book is filled with plenty of steam, angst, drama, action, and mystery. Their story was quite romantic and sentimental and I absolutely loved it. This is a must read series for romance lovers.
This is the third book in the southern series, and no surprise its about Savannah the one woman who is hated by most in this entire series. I never did hate her I felt sorry for her , which after reading her story she would rather I hated her. Savannah has been the town’s scarlet letter everyone whispers and sneers. Even after proving herself as an equal and starting up and being a successful business owner. She still is the outsider, Now her absolutely best friend Beau has been elected mayor, he is the upstanding citizen and she is hated by most. These two are so in love with one another you will yell at your reader, JUST GET TOGETHER, TELL HER, TELL HIM, It really is a can’t see what’s right in front of your story. Don’t you worry cause Beau is Amazing and he ain’t letting anything happen to his Savannah. Great read and that ending already had tears running down my face.
Natasha Madison has done it again!! She makes you hate people, only to show a completely different side of them that twists your feelings all over the place and gives you new insight into their motivations. This book is as stormy as the title!! I don’t want to spoil anything so I will just say, get your tissues ready and maybe some chocolate and prepare to be taken on an epic rollercoaster of emotions like only this author can do!! I promise you, you won’t regret reading this heart wrenching, emotional and beautiful story!
Southern Storm is book 3 in the Southern Series and is about Savannah and Beau. I didn’t much like Savannah in the first 2 books, she had an attitude I wanted to smack out of her so I didn’t know really what to expect when I started Southern Storm, other than it was gonna be amazing. DUH….that was a given, I mean it’s Natasha Madison’s words!! You certainly get Savannah’s full story, and my heart shattered for her at different times in this book, she’s been dealing with people seeing her how they want to see her for years and the only ones who have been by her side have been Jacob and Beau, through thick and thin, secrets being kept…and secrets coming out. Beau finds out a big secret that Savannah kept from him, about her son Ethan. She fears she has lost him forever, but that is just the tip of the iceberg, and secrets coming out and things happening that would break most anyone, but Savannah is stronger than she believes herself to be and you root for her to come out on top, and for all of her dreams to come true….and that ending!!! Have to wait until July for the final book in this series, and that’s Ethan’s book!!! I can’t wait!! I HIGHLY recommend this series, and I do suggest reading them in order to get the full effect. You will not be sorry!!
Southern Storm is the 3rd book in the Southern series and even though these books follow different couples I highly suggest reading them in order as the stories all interconnect in a way that may confuse you if you have not read the previous books.
This story was drama packed to the point that it was maybe a little bit too much especially towards the end when all the revelations come out and it went to a whole new level and felt like I was watching a soap opera/telenovela which for me personally it was a bit over board but if you love crazy small town drama with some added suspense then you will surely love this book.
Savannah where do I even begin with her, if you have read the previous books then you would know that she is an unlikable character and the main reason of all the drama that played out in book 1. I personally didn’t love her character in the previous books but I also didn’t hate her. She is selfish but also somehow selfless. Strong yet broken. Smart but naive. Sassy and feisty yet deflated. She is caring and loyal & will do anything to protect her son even if it is at the expansive of her own happiness and others.
Beau has just found out that the girl he has been in love with since he was a kid, has lied to the whole town about the father of her son. Her son who is in fact fathered by Beau’s older brother Liam. Understandably hurt and angry Beau lashes out until he realises he needs to be directing his anger a little closer to home instead of the woman he still loves. Beau is protective, kind, sweet, charming, funny, stubborn and a bit of an alpha male but also brave, selfless and compassionate.
I loved everything about Beau and though I wasn’t sold on him and Savannah to begin with I did end up enjoying their relationship. At first it was hard to connect with as both were harbouring strong feelings towards each other but to afraid to speak them so it was a lot of telling and not much showing which makes it harder to truly feel their passion and emotions behind the love. With a few flashback scenes of their ever evolving friendship could’ve definitely helped. The story was still addictive with all the crazy storylines woven in and there were many times my heart truly broke for Savannah as I don’t feel she deserved a lot of the hate thrown her way. Though I still don’t love her I have grown to appreciate her. I did however love her son Ethan and glad we got more of him in this story and can’t wait for his book next.
I received an advanced copy of this book and am choosing to review it. I love this book so much. My heart broke so many times while reading for Savanna and Beau. The love and the chemistry between them is so amazing and beautiful. I cried, laugh, I got mad and felt in love with them. The story is well written with excellent words build with a really good pace. So far this is my favorite book of this series.
Southern Storm is book 3 in the Southern series by Natasha Madison. This is Savannah and Beau’s story.
We were introduced to Savannah in book 1 and I totally disliked her in that book but she is redeemed here. She’s from the wrong side of town, has a terrible mother and her story will pull at your heartstrings.
Beau was her friend from childhood and he is secretly in love with her. Savannah has been in love with Beau and she thought he didn’t feel the same way about her that she felt about him. In this book, the truth comes out about who really fathered Savannah’s child and Beau feels betrayed.
By Savannah, his best friend and his family…and he takes his anger out on the wrong person(s). The story really blossoms from there. We get to see how badly Savannah has always been treated and how hard she works to be liked; how she really is a good person, mother and friend. My heart broke for all she endured. The emotional rollercoaster ride that goes on will have the reader invested in Savannah and Beau’s story. Beau is a good man who learned to be there finally for whose right. There is a great suspense angle to the story along with the romance aspect too. I found this book one of my favorites of the series. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
My Rating: 4.7 stars ********
Savannah and Beaus story gives me goosebumps just thinking about. It was so imperfect and beautiful at the same time and poor Savannah, she’s had to deal with so much at the hands of Beaus family but she’s a strong one and I adored her and Beau is on the top of my list for favorite hero’s!!!
Each book in this series keeps getting better and better! Finally – the book I was most looking forward to while reading the first one – the secrets and chemistry between best friends Beau and Savannah. After the explosive ending of the previous book, where Beau finds out Savannah’s secret, everything blows up between them. Thankfully, he comes to his senses and repairs the friendship he has with her quickly. Then comes the most frustrating characters ever – these two continue to blindly hide their feelings for each other while everyone else (including their friends) know! The number of times I found myself screaming at the book as I was reading for them to just tell each other how they feel because they felt the same way! Aside from that, we also start to learn how deep the secret Savannah kept actually runs and involves Beau’s family more than surface revealed. I loved the suspenseful aspect of the storyline involving the secrets that Beau’s family had – and I was 100% not expecting the ending! I continue to absolutely love and adore this author and the books she releases – I can never get enough and read her books extremely fast, this one not being an exception. Can’t wait for her next release!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Beau and Savannah have loved each other from afar for as long as they both can remember. When Savannah’s life is turned upside down she becomes the talk of the town. Even after everything, Beau still loves her and is ready to tell her the night of his party to celebrate him becoming the town mayor. Beau finds a piece of paper in his new office that tells him the last eight years have been a lie. Even after finding out his best friend’s son is his nephew and all the things that keep happening to Savannah, he convinces her to marry him to try and save her. Savannah finally agrees to marry Beau and he makes it his duty to protector her and make sure she knows that she is loved.
“A house is just a house, and it’s who is inside that makes it a home.” The much anticipated Southern Storm is here, Natasha Madison did not disappoint and it was well worth the wait! Experience a rollercoaster ride of emotions while reading this page-turning, edge of your seat, angsty romance. Once you start you will not be able to put this down. I will admit going into Southern Storm I was not a huge fan of Savannah but getting to know her while she ragged the storm my heart broke for her and Beau was so amazingly wonderful and patient. Ethan is a light in the storm and you just have to love him. The Southern Series is a MUST READ!!!!
*ARC was generously provided in exchange for my honest review*
This is a part of a series. And, for the first 2 books in this series, I have thought Savannah as sort of the “bad girl that broke up the golden couple”. Now, I knew why she did it, but it still made me wary of her. So an author who can turn a character from one that I really didn’t like unto one that just melted my heart with her story, is a good author in my book. Beau and Savannah’s story is captivating. There is a bit of mystery surrounding some happenings in the book. If you have read the other book, then you will love getting more of your favorite characters. Dual point of view. No cliffhanger, but it seems Ethan’s story is next!!!
Wow what an AMAZING journey with these characters. I have read and loved each book in this series. Based on what I knew about Savannah from those previous stories, I had already judged her and knew it would take a miracle to redeem her in my eyes. Welp – leave it to this brilliant author to write such a fantastic story that completely proved me wrong – I am convinced!
Beau *sighs* deserves love. He has quietly pined for his best friend for yearrrrrssss. He is successful, handsome, has a big heart but just couldn’t bring himself to go after what he wanted. Until crazy, dangerous events start unfolding around the object of his affection, Savannah. The perfectly woven storyline takes us readers on an adventure with these two as they face obstacles, make choices of so called convenience (*wink wink) and truly start peeling back all those layers of self preservation. We get more of the fantastic characters from the previous books in the series as the supporting cast. We get a couple of villains who deserved everything coming to them plus some. My lord my blood boiled.
All the feels – gah just left and right. All from this incredible author’s beautifully articulated words. I am a huge fan of her work. Have read and listened to almost everything she’s ever released. You have to give her a try!
I have been completely enamored by the series. It has totally consumed my life. I knew that this book was going to be special, amazing, and really different from the others. We saw the simmer that was happening between Savannah and Beau, and I was super excited to see when this was finally going to come to a boil! We only got a taste of it, but this had to be one of the slowest burns in existence. These two had so much passion and fire that was hiding. I was so, so, so excited when they finally became a couple.
Now, it took a long time to get to this part. But, that was one of the best things about the story. You didn’t get instant gratification, there was no Insta love, this was a torturous romance. That is why it was so perfect. It isn’t like other romance as you typically read about, this one had many dirty pieces that got in the way. I loved the amount of drama in this book. There has been a lot of drama throughout the series, but I could not wait to see what was going to happen with Beau’s family.
I don’t think anything could have prepared me for the second half of this book. There were so many amazing moments, absolutely crazy moments, and an amazing amount of plot twists. The best part was the ending was in multiple stages. I love an amazing epilogue and this one had multiple. We also got the best taste for the next book and I am dying to get more!!!
Oh, what a story I wasn’t ready for. Savannah broke me down. AND I TRIED TO FIGHT IT. I wasn’t a fan of hers…although I like her more now, still not my favorite girl. Once you read her story, you’ll understand why she is the way she is. Beau is held captured by her. And let me tell you, WE ALL need a Beau in our lives.
Southern Storm will make you feel like you can go through everything in life, but as long as that one person believes in you, that’s all you need.
I can’t begin to tell you my love for Southern Storm. My love for this novel is insurmountable, I kid you not.
Guys this novel is sheer perfection in its entirety.
I don’t even know how to express it into words what I feel for this beautifully written and compelling read.
From the very beginning I was hooked, totally consumed by it. I barely came up for air. I just couldn’t get enough of Savannah and Beau’s story.
It wasn’t the easiest of reads, not in the least. It was hard core on the emotions, twisted, with soul crushing moments and heartbreaking scenes that my tears just flowed. Yeah look guys it was tough.
But it was also full of beauty, hope and love that slowly mended my broken heart. It was just the right amount of angst, heartache, pain, light, happiness and love.
Savannah and Beau’s story is nothing short of exquisite, charming with impeccable beauty that I know will take just your breath away.
I highly recommend Savannah and Beau’s story. You’ll fall in love with ease. I guarantee it.
5 stars
Another great addition to this series! Beau and Savannah are childhood friends, but that friendship turned into love. Unfortunately past events have kept them in the friend zone. But what happens when the past catches up to them and secrets are revealed? Could this be their chance for a happily ever after?
Read this emotional heartfelt book to see how two people can finally come together for their HEA after the clouds of the past clear.
4.5 stars. A redemption story that will have you thinking twice about moments in the previous books. I didn’t expect to like this book as much as I did, I’m glad the author was able to redeem Savannah and I adored Beau!
Southern Storm by Natasha Madison was a breathtaking read.
I have been eagerly anticipating this read, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. It was a beautiful, and passion filled read.
Beau and Savannah have not had an easy time together. They have been through a lot since they were young. Beau’s family was never the most welcoming, or approving of Savannah, and yet, Beau stood by her anyway. You could tell how much Beau cared for her. He would have done anything for her, and at the end of the day, wouldn’t let anything stand in his way.
This has quickly become one of my favourite reads from Natasha.
5/5 Stars!
This is book 3 in The Southern Series. This is Beau and Savannah’s story. I enjoyed this book and it was a great addition to the series. Natasha Madison has a great knack for taking a character that I previously didn’t care for and redeeming them. She did it in Broken Love Series and she did it again with this book.
