Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.Savannah I’m the one who broke up the golden couple. The woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to. Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town’s golden boy on vacation from college? Yes. Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly. Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me … close. He got engaged right in front of me and then his father threw two hundred dollars at me and told me to take the trash out.
So, I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff.
It was going great, everything was working out till my lie got out.
Beau
I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.
Until I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
My brother has a son, not just any son but a son with the woman who was my best friend.
The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.
I need to protect her and in order to do that, we need to get married.
Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.

Listen (seriously), grab some Kleenex, vodka, and a couple of Xanax before you start to read this book. The Kleenex is none negotiable, the rest you can pick your poison, no worries. But DO IT!
If you’ve read this series from the beginning, then you already know Savannah. Maybe. You may think you know her but I think you might be wrong. #betme
Holy BALLS this story was incredible! It was heartbreaking at many times but always hopeful. The storyline unfolded with purpose and the growth of character was impressive. The ugly side of humanity was at the forefront of this small town and this story but Natasha Madison squashed it like a bug triumphantly! My heart soared while reading this book. I felt this incredible pull towards these fictional characters because they were real and living relatable circumstance.
I do not recommend any of you start this series anywhere but at the beginning. The books all live in the same world therefor are interconnected in a way that doesn’t really allow for a reader to jump in at any point. That’s just my opinion. Do with it what you will 🙂
Happy reading!
Honestly I didn’t think that I would end up liking, forgiving, or even finding any redemption in Savannah so I had my doubts going into this book. That being said the author has done a wonderful job of bringing these characters to life and letting me see another side of Savannah that I normally would have overlooked because let’s face it we are all somewhat judgmental jerks. In the first book Savannah seemed to come off as a piece of work that we all ended up not liking in some way, but now after reading this story I ended up sympathizing with her and even understanding her actions to an extent. Am I still happy about what happened with Jacob and Kallie? no, but I swear Beau helped ease some of my anger and help me see Savannah differently. The back and forth between Beau and Savannah had me screaming at my kindle wanting them to confess their love for each other so when it happened I felt so much happiness. This book let’s us in on a friends to lover romance that they have loved each other forever but fate and timing has always been off and now will they get their chance or will things and hatred drive Savannah away for good? I was glad I was wrong about Savannah and that things ended they way they did, but poor Ethan. Ethan’s story is going to wreck us but in a good way. It takes talent for an author to make a hated character find not only redemption but become extremely likeable and this author has done it and I’m glad we all get/give second chances
5 “Always You” Stars
The Southern Series keeps getting better! I didn’t really know what to expect from Southern Storm, because as much as I loved Beau form the precedents books, I wasn’t sure about Savannah. She was at the core of Kallie and Jacob’s separation from Southern Chance, and she kind of played the villain.
I was extremely surprised by this book that stole my heart completely. Not only did I enjoy the story, but so far it’s my favorite in the series. Beau’s unrequited feelings for Savannah were truly heartbreaking. For years, he played the best friend while he was so far gone for the girl, being afraid to lose her if he admitted what his heart truly wnated. What he never knew was that she also had a soft spot for him. After her big secret is revealed, there’s so much tension and hurt between the long time friends, but Beau is still always ready to play the hero for the woman of his dreams.
Seriously, I loved this couple so much. Savannah had a rough childhood and teenage years, but she always had the support of Beau and Jacob. She would do anything to protect her son, Ethan. She truly lives for him and she’s so driven in giving him the best of life. Beau is a loyal man with so much love for Savannah. He was so dreamy with his protectiveness. The romance was so exquisite between these two and had me teary-eyed at times. Their relationship packed feels, steam and trust.
Overall, Southern Storm was the perfect friends to lovers romance with heart, devotion, seduction, humor and all the in-betweens! The whole cast made this read even more addictive!
The third and final installment of the Southern Series is my favorite! Natasha Madison weaves her villain from book one into a heroine in Southern Storm. Savannah’s story broke my heart over and over again. Natasha made me feel her pain and sadness but also made me feel the love she had for Beau.
Beau has loved Savannah forever but his desire to keep her as a friend outweighed his desire to make her his. When Savannah’s world is knocked off kilter and even put in danger, Beau is there to stand by her. No matter what. Will Beau finally cave to his family and pick them over Savannah?
I put off reading Southern Storm for so long. I won’t lie I really didn’t like Savannah in Southern Chances and didn’t want to read her story. She just seemed selfish and wrong and I had no intentions of ever liking her. Famous last words. I think when we’re young we make bad decisions and Savannah definitely does. When she takes the easy out and makes it look like Jacob is Ethan’s father it ruined so many lives it’s hard to see how she thought that was right.
Southern Storm starts with a bang. Beau finding out Jacob and Savannah’s secret. The hurt and betrayal he feels leads him to say things he doesn’t mean. Savannah forgives him pretty easily, but let’s be honest, she has no room to not considering.
What I love most about this book is Beau. His unconditional love for Savannah is amazing. He’s loved her from afar for years while thinking she had a child with his best friend. He is just amazing.
While I Savannah is still not my favorite I did love this book. It was emotional and had me hooked from start to finish. Madison is a one click author for me and this book is the perfect example as to why. Her writing is flawless and her characters are amazing. I love how she brings back our favorite characters in every book.
Southern Storm is an amazing addition to the Southern Series.
This sweet, best friends to lovers romance is well written & narrated beautifully. Off the charts chemistry and burn you to the ground feels. This book will grab your heart, squeeze and not let go. It hit me straight in my feels and had me laughing, crying, mad, and swooning all at the same time. Brian Palino & Morais Almeida are amazing narrators and do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. Highly recommend listening to this entire series (or reading, if audiobooks aren’t your thing.)
Beau and Savannah are smoking hot in this fiends to lovers read. Both have always loved each other but to afraid to tell each other until Beau comes to Savannah’s aid. Once these two finally tell each other how they feel its on. This series is addictive.
From the start of this series Savannah has been a hard one to love so I didn’t go into this one with high hopes but leave it to Natasha Madison to turn me around from the town villain. The entire story left me with every emotion imaginable. Inside Savannah has a beautiful heart. She made some mistakes when she young that have followed her for years and she has been paying for them ever since. Far too many people made very wrong assumptions about her based on her mother and where she came from but very few have taken the time to get to know the real Savannah. Beau is an INCREDIBLE man. His is selfless and strong. He is the town mayor and has recently discovered some earth shattering secrets that open his eyes up to his real family and all the lies and truths they’ve been hiding. His entire life one thing has remained constraint and that is his heart beats only for Savannah. For years he has stood by her side as her best friend silently loving her because he believed she was off limits. Savannah’s growth from start to finish was huge. She has weathered storm after storm and when she feels like all is lost Beau shows her a different side to the town and she finally speaks up for herself. This story in the end left me with all the feels and so many tears of hope, joy and happiness. I am dying to start Southern Sunrise next!
This book is emotional, and sweet and all the things a good romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
No one ever won a race they didn’t start. No one ever saw the writing on the wall before they made the turn and the wall came into view. And Natasha Madison never stops surprising me.
Southern Storm picks up where the last book stopped. The name could not be more perfect, because if you know anything about southern storms, you know they are unpredictable. They can come out of the blue and do lots of damage quickly, or they can bring beauty to a dry area with soft rains and breezes. And they can build in intensity as they move along. In other words you never know what you are going to get.
Beau and Savannah each must weather their storms…apart and together. But how much is too much when hearts are on the line? These two show why in the south, the heat of summer can sometimes be the coolest thing with those in love. This story has so many turns and bends that it is hard to share my thoughts without giving away the story. This is one ya just gotta read!
What a great story Natasha and I happily give this one 5 stars.

Southern Storm is the third book in this series of contemporary, standalone, small town romance with friends-to-lovers trope. Though it could be read as standalone, I would highly recommend the readers to read the first 2 books since its an interconnected arc. The couple in this story has played major roles in the first book, Southern Chance.
For those who are caught in up, Beau, Savannah and Jacob (the hero in the first book) are bestfriends since they were kids. Savannah, being the daughter of a hired help and with her mother’s own reputation in town, didn’t have it easy growing up. The difference in their social status didn’t affect their friendships until Savannah got pregnant and Jacob took the responsibility. Beau has always loved Savannah but felt betrayed by his 2 friends. Savannah loved Beau but felt that she isn’t the right woman for his kind of status. Eight years has passed, and when Beau found out the truth, will it changed how he felt for Savannah? Will this be the chance for him to cross the line of friendship? Are they strong enough to stand the storm that they will face? Get ready for drama, angst and Southern brand of love! Fans of small town romance and author will surely love this latest love story.
I was not a big fan of Savannah throughout the whole series, I thought there was definitely a better way for her to handle the situation she was in.
She does redeem herself throughout Southern Storm when you get her whole story as to why she did what she did.
Beau is a beautiful man who loved Savannah from a far for years, even when he thought she slept with his best friend, he was always there to protect her.
When he finally gets the chance to make Savannah his, he stops at nothing to do so.
Their love story was not perfect, but whose is?
LOVED the cliffhanger at the end, can’t wait to read Southern Sunrise! <3
Seriously guys I didn’t want to like Savannah at all. From the first book I just hated her, but I also knew that her story was going to be a heartbreaker and it was. We read about her in the previous books as the one who broke up Kallie and Jacob and she knew how they felt about each other. But the more you read about her the more you sort of understand. Maybe there could have been a better way but she did what she could in the circumstances.
And Beau, oh boy. He was like every mother’s dream guy for her daughter. And boy he did everything to protect Savannah, he was her protector, he fighter and defender. Pity his family are awful people. But man you will definitely fall in love with this hero
This book was definitely one of those books that will have you screaming and leave you with so many emotions you just can’t help but love it. Twists and turns, ups and downs heartbreaking moments but also love and hope and some steamy moments. Loved it. Natasha Madison knows exactly how to write a book that will make you fall in love with her writing. I can’t wait for the next book
P.S Don’t you just love this cover
This is a good book but I’m still not a fan of Savannah, I feel that she is and always will be a selfish person. The reason for my answer is because if she has been in love with Beau all this time, how could you sleep with his brother, let his friend pretend to be her son’s father and then on top of all that when it gets rough , she leaves. This author is one of the best but nobody could make me like this woman.Beau should of been with someone who truly deserves him.
If you have read the first two books in the Southern Series and didn’t like Savannah, all I can say is DO NOT LET THIS STOP YOU FROM READING THIS BOOK!
To be honest, I had a lot of anger towards Savannah and was intrigued, yet hesitant, on how Natasha Madison would be able to write a story that I would not only read, but devour and adore, about her.
Have no fear! By the end of the first part of this book, I felt so much empathy and heart for her and I was rooting for her. This book shows you, the reader, that there are many sides to people, even ones that you can’t imagine.
This book was so lovingly written and truly teaches us, the readers, that you cannot judge a book by its cover, a person always by their actions, until we truly see what is going on underneath.
DNF. This book definitely does not work as a stand alone. I was thoroughly confused by page 2. Something about a lie with somebody’s baby but I couldn’t really follow the story.
Savannah and Beau. Sigh. Savannah has been looked down upon by the father and grandfather of her child. Her best friend Beau is the brother and son of these men. Samantha has so many mishaps and faces damage, destruction and near death as she just goes about her life. Beau is always in her side. HEA. Highly recommend.
I been reading this series of books, well written
Well, the action in this book just took off right out of the gate!!!! Holy smokes, I spent a late night finishing this one!!!!
Never have I seen such a stubborn couple in my life. Everybody knew these two were so in love with each other, but Savannah nor Beau wanted to admit it to each other. Savannah has adored him since she was just a child, and he felt the same about her. However, circumstances continued to keep them apart romantically. They are still the best of friends.
Savannah is one determined, strong woman. No matter what people think of her or the insults that are hurled at her, all of them unwarranted…by the way, she has worked her tail off to realize her dreams and be a good mother, and she has done both fantastically! When the secret of her son’s paternity comes out, she finds her life in danger. Thank goodness for her friends and Beau.
Beau has stuck by Savannah’s side through everything, even standing up to his arrogant family who look down their noses at her. With her life now in danger, he will do whatever it takes to make sure she and her son are safe. He has the perfect solution…get married to her. Bring on the romance and steam!!!!!
With their marriage, comes even more danger and family secrets meant to be hidden will finally see the light!!! Southern Storm is exactly what a good romantic suspense should be!!! LOVED IT!!!!
I knew I was going to LOVE Savannah and Beau’s story, but I had no idea how much their journey to HEA would give me all the emotional feels! It’s a childhood friends to lovers story, with the hero and heroine having no idea of the other’s feelings for them. Hello angst! Add in a dash of suspense/intrigue with the chemistry that will steam up your kindle, and you have another perfect escape from Natasha Madison!
While this can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend you read the entire series to find out about the other characters. So addictive!
