Buried secrets never stay hidden in the South.Savannah I’m the one who broke up the golden couple. The woman people still whisper about, point at, and give dirty looks to. Did I sleep with the prom king? No. Did I sleep with the town’s golden boy on vacation from college? Yes. Did I believe that he was going to marry me? Wholeheartedly. Did he? Not even close. He got engaged right in front of me … close. He got engaged right in front of me and then his father threw two hundred dollars at me and told me to take the trash out.
So, I raised my son in a town where people love him because they think that his father is the sheriff.
It was going great, everything was working out till my lie got out.
Beau
I was getting ready to take over the mayoral office from my father, who was my hero.
Until I heard the secret he hoped would stay buried forever.
My brother has a son, not just any son but a son with the woman who was my best friend.
The woman I secretly have loved from the moment she stood up to me and broke my nose in kindergarten.
I need to protect her and in order to do that, we need to get married.
Too bad her nightmare is my dream come true.

Southern Storm by Natasha Madison is such a great read. Madison gives us everything we love and more in this friends to lovers/suspense romance.
Savannah and Beaus story takes us through hard times. But we get glimpses of better times with Beau and Savannah. We all know Savannah’s secret but what we don’t know is how much she loves Beau. And what a wonderful person she is. (You have to admit if you’ve read the other two you’re not too fond of her.) but we get to see all the sides to her. And we also find out how much Beau loves Savannah. But will these two finally tell each other. We follow as these two fight for Savannah’s life. Lots of twists and turns and even more secrets will come out. And in the end will they be standing when the storm ends?
Highly recommended.
*I was given a free advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest and voluntary review.*
Natasha Madison does is again.
Southern Storm is a amazing read. I knew Natasha would redeem Savannah.
Savannah didn’t have an easy life. That poor girl. Now that I’ve read her story, I understand her better.
Beau was always in love with Savannah, she was his best friend. But what he doesn’t know is that Savannah was always in love with him too.
Love the storyline. But poor Savannah, she couldn’t get a break. Thank God she had Beau to help her. Beau was dreamy and hot!
So glad that Savannah got her second chance. She deserved it.
Another awesome book by Natasha Madison.
Can’t wait for Ethan’s book.
My Rating: STARS
this series is becoming my favorite by Natasha!!!!
I have a thing for Southern Gentlemen. And let me just say that Beau is at the top of my list. Is he perfect? Nope, but he’s close. And he makes some discoveries that knock him right off his feet. And my heart truly hurt. BUT then he got his head back on straight, and let me just say he is a hero…..
5 Stars
Beau and Savannah have grown up as the best of friends. When secrets come to light and Beau discovers what Savannah has been hiding for years, the roller coaster of emotions begin. This series is amazing and the anticipation of this book has been high. Beau and Savannah’s story is all I could have imagined and more! You will fall in love with this couple immediately. Beau, the man who is now Mayor, but refuses to fall victim to the underhanded lifestyle his father has lived while in the same position. Savannah, the woman who has spent much of her life as an outcast, blamed for the actions of her mother and one night that changed her life forever. Together these two can become whole and the affection, love and passion between them is off the charts! I love this series and cannot wait for Ethan’s story next!

Southern Storm by Natasha Madison is the 3rd book in the Southern Series, can be read as a stand-alone and tells the story of Beau and Savannah.
When you read a book by Natasha Madison you are pulled in from the first sentence and this book is no different.
When Beau learns that Ethan is his brother’s son, it initially does not go well. He is heartbroken for so many reasons. Savannah and Beau are best friends who have feelings for each other, but have never shared their love for each other.
We first met Savannah in book one and she was not likeable, but Ms. Madison knows how to spin a story so you are routing for her and also feel strong empathy for what she has been through. Each of the books in this series gets better and better and you don’t want to put it down until you have read the last sentence. The chemistry between the two is palpable and you are routing for this couple.
The ending leaves you a hint of book 4, as Ethan finds out the truth and his story is coming in Southern Sunrise in July. I for one cannot wait!
Book three in the series has all the intensity and frustration as well as the heartache and some ‘awwww’ moments. You may not like Savannah much, if you’ve read book one (Southern Chance) but now we get her side of the story, and trust me, she gets her redemption. While this can be read as a stand alone (each book features a different couple,) I would highly suggest you read Southern Chance first, as her character is introduced and we get the start of her and Beau’s (the Hero) story. Book two (Southern Comfort) doesn’t feature the two characters much (and wouldn’t necessarily need to be read to prior, but it ends with the beginning of this book. This a beautiful story, even if you want to grind your teeth at all the junk that goes on. It’s a bit of a bully romance, though the Hero is not the bully, but quite literally, the HERO. Savannah is a strong woman, but there are cracks in her armor. Beau is a good, kind man, who will do anything to help his best friend… even after he finds out she’s been lying to him for years. Well written and reads easily. Alternates POVs. There is some sexual content. Some of the contents are a bit disturbing to hear, though not what I would call dark. This is definitely a tension filled read, but a good read at that.
With each book, I fall more and more in love with this series. Leave it to Natasha to keep you wanting more because each book is so beautifully written and so captivating you can’t help but, fall in love with the characters. Amazing series.
Started out giving me the feels!! Grabbed me from the very start. Have been waiting for Beau and Savannahs since reading Southern Chance! It surely did not disappoint! Its a great Friends to lovers, with a little bit of suspense and mystery. However….the ending!!! While you get closure on Beau and Savannahs story you are left with wanting to go right into the next book!!!! I need it and want it!!!! I definitely recommend this book and series!
Received an arc for an honest review
This is an incredible best friends to lovers story that has many different twists from a traditional BF to lovers. For one, we are led into this book from the end of the last one and up until now haven’t really liked Savannah much. She sure as heck redeems herself though!! I knew Natasha wouldn’t let me down! And Beau, well he is simply worthy of all the SWOON!! I love him and I love their chemistry!! He was devastated by the news he finds out but he manages to shake it off and still stand by Savannah. Someone has to. And since he has been in love with her forever, seems like the right thing to do. That poor woman has been through hell in more ways than one and has been treated like dirt by so many in their town. She is strong though and she has persevered! I truly enjoyed their journey to HEA as tough and emotionally difficult as it could be at times it was so worth it to finally see them happy!! Love the epilogues so much and can’t wait for Ethan’s book!!
Southern Storm is the long awaited story of Savannah and Beau.
Savannah, as a young adult, made some poor choices, the impact of which still affects her life many years later.
Up to now, Savannah hasn’t been shown in a very positive light so why on earth is Beau madly in love with her?
Savannah unsurprisingly, suffers from exactly the same fate.
Southern Storm is a story of unrequited love. A story that proves that love can be deaf, dumb and blind! An affliction from which both Beau and Savannah are suffering.
The removal of their blindfolds, earphones and a good knock to the head puts them on the path to their HEA.
Of course Southern Storm wouldn’t be complete without the exposure of, up till now, well kept secrets. You’re going to want to buckle up to ride this country road. It’s definitely a road you’ll want to travel.
En route Southern Storm will drag you through every emotion and you’ll happily follow along as Natasha Madison serves up another amazing helping of WTF in the most spectacular way.
When I first started reading this book I thought I would hate Savannah but I really start to love her character so much and I really love her and beau together. And I can’t wait to read the next book because I think it gonna be really interesting.
Well it’s safe to say we all had a hate on for Savannah before she got her own book. Beau was so completely in love with her and her him it was beautiful. Her background story is heartbreaking and you were rooting for her but I still have that small amount of dislike for her causing the rift between Jacob and Kallie. But that aside, great plot, lots of suspicion and twists trying to root out the villain was very enjoyable. As always the introduction onto the next book leaves your heart beating faster for the next instalment.
This is the third one the in the southern storm series. So far I have absolutely loved this series. I have been patiently waiting for this one as it is Beau and Savannah’s story. Savannah has not had an easy life in this town. She got pregnant at an early age and someone else took responsibility for the child other than the person that should was the father. Beau finds out the wrong way about who the father really is and is not the least bit happy about things. But that doesn’t change how he feels about Savannah. But he doesn’t know how to tell Savannah how he feels.
Things are tense from that point on between all involved. And then things start happening to Savannah and things that she owns. Basically someone is trying to run her out of town. But Beau will do whatever it takes to keep her right there. But his plan is mind blowing. Will Savannah go along with it? Will these two finally tell each other how they feel? What will happen between these two? I patiently waited for this one and was not the least disappointed. I loved Beau and Savannah. It was a great story. The Southern series and amazing and this was a wonderful addition to the series.
Okay I’m gonna start this review a little different…
Things to know:
There is no cheating in this book by the main characters.
This one does have a HEA.
It can be read on its on own, but I do suggest you read the first two stories in this series before reading this one.
Yes, you will go into this one hating Savannah. I know I did.
Beau is dreamy.
Ethan is sweet.
…..
This one takes place right after the last book (yes, you can start with this one without the previous stories). Poor Savannah. Yes, I said poor Savannah. This girl keeps getting pooped on over and over again by life. I’m glad we get some insight into her because she was definitely going down as my number one hated main character by Natasha.
So Savannah has been in love with her best friend Beau forever. She seems to be the only one who doesn’t know he is also in love with her.
Some things happen which we will leave you oozing with sadness for Savannah. Thankfully, she has a best friend to help save her.
You know what? I’m gonna stop writing about what will happen. Just know she does redeem herself.
Hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!
Southern Storm: The Southern Series by Natasha Madison is absolutely explosive and incredible and full of all the feels!
Natasha literally made me love Savannah. A character from Southern Comfort, who I thought I would always have a distaste for.
But Natasha taught us all a lesson. There truly are always two sides to a story, and we are all living our own truths, and trying sometimes just to survive.
These books can all be read as standalone’s, but I would recommend reading in order because I think you’ll get even more out of the characters and storyline.
I absolutely LOVED Beau & Savannah’s story.
The way Natasha lets it play out with so much suspense and words that need to be said.
And at the end of the day, showing what true friendship and family is about.
There’s so much more to so many if we just give them the chance to show it.
I literally have half the book highlighted! But this will always stick with me … “A storm is rolling in,” “The storm already arrived,” “And we are still standing.”
May we all find the one to help us keep standing in the storm.
5 Phenomenal Stars
I thought Savannah was selfish in book 1 but in this story she’s redeemed herself. It’s only so much a girl can handle. Savannah was the town pariah because of her mother and also because of what the town assumes happened with Jacob. Beau has always been in love with Savannah and surprisingly she was also in love with Beau but she thought he always friend zoned her. He finally found out the truth about Ethan and at first he was hurt but then he stood by her. It was a slow burn with these two I found myself yelling stating come on hurry up and get together lol. A series of events happened to Savannah and he made it his business to stand with her. That poor girl was actually pretty strong because of all the crap she put up with. Beau was amazing and he defended his woman with everything he had and he made sure she felt wanted. His family was dysfunctional but he knew how to handle them. I also enjoyed reading how Jacob, Kallie, Casey and Olivia stood by them too. Kallie and Savannah relationship healed and it was so beautiful to see. The epilogues were amazing until that ending with Ethan. Can’t wait for his story.
This is the third book in the Southern series and let me tell you it packs a tremendous punch. You must read Southern Chance and Southern Comfort before Storm to understand the storyline, but trust me you will not be disappointed in the least. But be forwarned – have tissues, alcohol, and a stress ball ready, mainly the stress ball. ANGST ANGST ANGST
Well, I’m not going to lie, I did not like Savannah at all. I felt she was selfish and I had a hard time with her and Jacob’s decisions. He was redeemed in Southern Chance but Savannah… yeah… I was waiting to see how Natasha was going to handle her story. And just to say, she nailed it! I changed my view right quick when all the details came out.
This is Beau and Savannah’s story and to me, the most controversial and heart-wrenching. You find out so much that has happened that no one knows about and it makes things so much more clear. Beau has always loved Savannah but it’s not until she’s in danger and goes to protect her that he finally tells her just how much she means to him. The connection and chemistry between these two … Lawdy be, its hotter than Georgia asphalt!!!
This series is just another testament to this author and why she’s a definite go-to for me. She can drag you through the mud, break your heart and smack you upside the head, all the while healing that heart she broke and give you a pain pill for the headache and a shower for the mud. She gets better with each word she writes. You will fall in love with Beau and Savannah!!!
You can not go wrong with this series!!!
(3.8 stars)
Beau Huntington was just elected Mayor of his small town. He always had feelings for the misunderstood Savanah Harrison. She caused some trouble in prior books as a single mother to Ethan who’s father was undetermined. Well, now that the secret is out will Beau still want to find a way to make Savannah his? Can they write the wrongs of the past? When vandals keep messing with Savannah can she ever truly feel at home in this town. We’ve met these two in the prior books briefly but this is their story. This is the 3rd book in these interconnected small town stand-alone romances. If you like slower burn, small town romance with feels then you will enjoy this. Told in dual POV
This series has been nothing short of amazing and Southern Storm (Southern Series #3) has completely and utterly blown me away!!! I knew that Beau and Savannah’s story was going to be heavy, heart wrenching and filled with angst. And not only was it all of those things, but it was brilliant and creatively written. My heart and my mind wasn’t ready for the secrets, the lies and jaw dropping surprises. Hands down, Southern Storm is the BEST book in this series so far and one of my top favorite books of 2020.
If you’ve read Southern Chance and Southern Comfort then you have an idea of the pain and heartache that Savannah has gone through. The poor girl was literally the black sheep of her small town however, things aren’t always what they seem. My heart went out to her. She possessed an incredible amount of strength, courage, there was a lot depth to her and she’s definitely my favorite character in this series. And Beau was a wonderful, passionate and strong alpha and his love for Savannah ran so deep. He’s always been secretly in love with her and when danger arose and threatened Savannah, he proved that he would protect her at all costs. Their undeniable chemistry was perfection and once again Natasha Madison never disappoints when it comes to hot and steamy sex as these two definitely burned up the sheets!!
Get ready for one hell of an emotional and intense ride. Trust me, it’s well worth it.
Once again, I am lost in this Southern dynasty that Natasha has created. This girl from Canada has invaded the South and fell right into the line of southern charm and chaos.
Each book in this series has brought a different element. They have all been so interconnected but such standalones. Each story has left me on the edge of my seat waiting to see where we go from here.
Secrets can only last for so long. Eventually, the truth will make it’s way to the forefront and when it does be ready for the fireworks that come with it. And just let me tell you BOOM is silent compared to the explosion this story brings.
We’ve seen what lies and secrets and scandal can do to a small town. We’ve read how people can make assumptions and judge on what they think they know. The whispers, the eye rolls, the attitudes, the disrespect. But remember, things are not always what they seem and your idea of the truth is just that, your idea.
Savannah has been through hell, but she always comes back strong. Beau has always secretly carried a torch for her and been her knight in shining armor. The battle royale that takes place for these two to find their way home is nothing short of mind-boggling, intense and fascinating.
I love what Natasha has brought to this series and I am so honored to have been along for the ride. To say she has impressed me would be an understatement. To tell you how much in love with this series I am is impossible. To scream to the world to read it! YES!!
