The best of the series so far. This one is an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, cried, got mad then happy. This next season is going to be even better than the first. Warren is the main character and we see into both of his worlds. There are new characters as well as those we have already come to love and hate. There is a lot of story packed into these pages. I was so sad to get to the end but also excited to see where things are going to go from here. There are surprises and wild twists. And a bit of a cliffhanger ending. Book 8 can’t come fast enough.
I love this series and it continues to get better with each book, boy does your emotions go out for Warren! Looking forward to another book in this series, the ending was great!!
A fantastic start to part two of the Soul Summoner series! We are introduced to Warren’s new world, yes, across the spirit line we go! A handful of new characters are introduced as well as a couple of big problems that need to be addressed, one involving his daughter Iliana. Be ready to feel all of the emotions in this one. More than once I found myself grabbing my Kleenex or laughing out loud. Buckle up, the ride is a wild one! Trust me, you will love every minute of it!
*honestly and voluntarily reviewed the ARC I received from the author*
If I weren’t on a book budget hold because of the holidays, I’d have all of these books in my possession. I’ll be getting you soon!
I had a real heartthrob for Sloan, Warren, and Nathan and when The Regular Guy came out, it was a tough hill to climb. But this? Oh, so much worse. On top of Warren needing to heal and accept that Nathan and Sloan are together now (that is SO not how I took the last installment because I totally chose Warren) and he has to stay away for the sake of his little girl. But now Eden’s got calls that if he doesn’t answer soon, he’ll lose the very reason why he accepted heartbreak in the first place. And TOTAL SPOILER BUT NOT REALLY but I think we can all assume he’s gonna have a love interest… and I so don’t know how I feel about that. It’s always Sloan but like, I also know Warren needs love too, and if not with another human, why not something else right? I’m rambling, but this is also another good reason to get the book.
You get so SUCKED IN that you wanna know what’s happening next. I love Hyder’s writing and the way she captures certain emotions. I obviously read a little faster when Sloan wasn’t present or there wasn’t drama but I definitely devoured every moment I could get with Sloan and the rest of the gang in Asheville.
Gah, it’s like coming back home to family that makes your heart ache and smile harder.
The soul summoner series is one of the best out there. I love this world and these characters.
Not sure how this series could possibly get any better, but it does with each book. You need to read the books in order and you will be so glad you did. This book was amazing and I couldn’t put it down. So much in here – action, heart wrenching moments, surprise, love, friendship, family, and so much more. The characters are amazing and the detail in the story allows you to feel like you are there with them. Thank you for this series Elicia Hyder! I wish it never had to end!!
This book is so good, best to date its action packed, heart wrenching, laughter inducing, journey. This is not a story this is an experience and such a satisfying one. This is a well-crafted, well thought out piece of literature it’s so much more than just a story.
There is a lot going on this book, so you need to pay attention, but Elicia makes that so easy she is such a good yarn spinner. Her books just keep getting better and better, growing in deliciousness, suspense and the humour had me laughing out loud. Catch cry for the day “donkey hole”
Kudos to Elicia and her support team, you’ve done again and I look forward to the next exciting instalment
I believe that if you have enjoyed the previous books in this series you are going to love this one, make a little room on your calendar, put up the do not (under threat of death) disturb, sign on your phone, door, social media sites etc and settle in for a journey.
In the seventh book of the series Warren is on a mission to save his daughter! He will have to deal with old enemies of his father’s, the Council of Angels and God, and demons to save her and the future of the world. He will make a new connection that some will love and others will hate! This is just another war of epic proportions that heralds the finding of the Morning Star! The Council demands things of the Angels of Death that are horrendous and Warren will do everything in his power along with his friends to stop what is coming! Nathan and a few others still have their wonderful sense of humor intact as well that will give you many moments of LOL! The tender moments in the book that include Warren, Sloan and their daughter will bring you to tears! And the ending…OMG! Ok, just not fair Elicia Hyder…now we have to wait an ETERNITY just to read the next book in the series and what it means! There is also a moment of yelling OH NO!!! when you read about a shocker concerning the Morning Star! Read along with the rest of us for this next journey into Warren’s and the rest of the crews’ lives…you will definitely be spellbound!
I love this series, and the characters are great in The Soul Summoner Books. I was left a little teary eyed at the end. Warren is trying to protect is daughter at all costs.
I just felt there wasn’t much of Sloan in this book, and I would have liked that.
I can’t wait for Book 8.
