The final installment of the Vampire Addictions series from NY Times & USA Today bestselling author Thea Atkinson. A dead vampire, a potion to end all potions, and one spell-binding trip to ancient Rome.Jade can’t imagine a fate worse than having to handle nasty club business while Magnus is out cold and nearly dead, until Regan comes calling and confiscates the business in the name of the … in the name of the Cult.
As if on cue, Magnus comes to and isn’t exactly himself. Now Jade can think of lots of things that are worse, but apparently, her imagination leaves a lot to be desired because suddenly, managing a host of vampire desires doesn’t seem so bad.
“The finale blazes along with the fires that consume Nero’s Rome. It’s a terrific ending to a terrific series.” | Alana Woods, Amazon customer
The Sorceress and the Demon is the third book of the urban fantasy-come-romantic suspense series Vampire Addictions. If you enjoy dark and gritty, sometimes steamy vampire novels, then you might just love Atkinson’s “…uniquely dark, naughty, evil, sassy,& sarcastically witty vampire romance series.”

Jade is enamored by Magnus. When he gets his head cut off by the cult of Artemis, Jade tries to run his club until Magnus can heal. That is when Regan shows up, claiming the cult of Artemis now owns the club. The assassin Lydia and the Priestess Aisha show up and put Jade under a spell that takes her back to Rome when it was on fire. Jade is captured by Centurians as a runaway slave who is supposed to be put to death. This story has plenty of action, debauchery Roman style, romance, and ends in a convoluted HEA. Highly recommended.

Entertaining and interesting; imaginative. Gritty type of vampire story, flawed characters with dark problems; sexual and mental assaults present in this read. This is book 3; I’d recommend reading the previous books for the best reading experience. Jade is having more crazy adventures in vampire land. Vampire Magnus is indisposed at the moment, so Jade is having to step up and keep his businesses running smoothly; she’s not exactly doing a great job of it. Many others in this supernatural world cause problems; lots of danger all around. I don’t quite click with the style of these vampires or the characters, but the series is different enough to keep me reading. I’ll go with a 3 rating. I liked the story.
Jade stayed with Magnus in his bed for weeks while he healed. She also took over his businesses but was miserably failing at them. All the people she has met, the major players, came back again. With Magnus out for the count, she would need to keep her head about her and figure out how to wake him to handle all the others. Regan takes over his businesses and home; Jade meets a new possible friend Razza in weird circumstances. When Razza comes to the mansion, she walks in on an atrocious scene. But, Jade bargains herself to save Razza and Ann. Magnus awoke feral and tore into everyone he came across! Aisha will send her back to the days of the Romans to a former version of herself to help Magnus become aware. What she discovers is a game changer! Can she bring him back from being feral? Will Regan own her now? What about Gio, where is he in all this? What will happen to Razza, Ann, Lydia, Isme and Aisha? You will want to read the conclusion to this series and discover what happens to our heroine and hero! I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.
