The contents of an ancient scroll set in motion a deadly quest for the tomb of Solomon and the long lost treasure of the Second Jewish Temple. The Project team is up against a madman who believes he is the last high priest of an ancient and cruel god. He seeks the Seal of Solomon and the mystical powers he’s sure it will bring him. He’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants, including murder and … and and treachery.
From the streets of Beirut to the barren south of Saudi Arabia and the wild canyons of Ethiopia, the Project team follows a strange trail of confusing clues in search of Solomon’s bones and the sacred heritage of a nation.

This was a free book on BookBub. Even though it was free, I would have gladly paid for it. It’s full of action, intrigue and mystery. An elite government team seek out a treasure of Biblical proportions that could impact the Middle East. It’s a good, clean read with a little humor thrown in for good measure!
If you enjoy action this Project team is ready to go at a moments notice. Don’t expect deep character development since they are way too busy trying to stay alive.
I have been enjoying Alex Lukeman’s books for years and The Solomon Scroll doesn’t disappoint. If you like action/adventure books with believable characters and good guys vs bad guys plots, this one is for you.
Interesting, but not fascinating…. Been there before with other authors who did a better job engaging and holding me. Nevertheless, I read it all the way through and was smiling at the end.
A great afternoon read
Good beach read. Fast paced. Should have and could have been better.
I enjoy this type of book early historical informative
boring,
As are the other Alex Lukeman books, this is an interesting, action-packed novel. I enjoyed it and will likely keep reading his books as they present themselves to me.
In the spirit of an Indiana Jones kind of plot, a good read. Enjoyed it.
Really liked the book. Very well layed out, good plot.
A great story
Having read all 13 books in this series I was hooked on Alex’s characters and the historical and realistic settings that the team was sent to. Each book stands on it’s own, and you grow to get inside these characters heads. Thrilling page turning novels that you can’t put down. I wish there were more
Always love his work. Keep them coming.
Good book
Intrigue complex well written
Story did not seem plausible. I finished the book and said to my self it was ho-hum waste of my time novel.
Fun action packed book. As this is part of a series, make sure to read the earlier books in the series.
Have read the entire series. Loved each book.
Echoing Dan Brown I believe the author used the Agatha Christie method of Introducing the villain in the last few chapters as well as the catalyst to save the day. I’m afraid the lead character suddenly developed the skills of many master spies after appearing to be fairly ineffectual at the start of the movie.
