This is a dark and realistic portrayal of deeply damaged people, and the dysfunctional people that surround them. No whining because it’s not a Disney movie, please. Most of all, it’s a story of hope. Very worthwhile reading.
Almost hard to believe it’s currently at less than a solid 4 star rating.
Not the usual. Some violence against women. Frustrating decisions made by both primaries, but HEA
Absolutely loved the beginning half, loved it! The second half I was a little “ehh”, about and wasn’t as much of a fan, so that is why I gave it 4 stars. I definitely liked the characters, very nice.
Believable in this modern world.
This was a very slow start, but it did capture my attention and I enjoyed it. Once into the real depth of the story, I was intrigued by the characters and how they dealt with each crazy situation. The fact that they both had to learn to trust each other fully kept me coming back to finish the book.
Surprisingly unique
Perfect. I was taken hostage from page one. Could not put this unique story down!!!!
