Sharp claws keep you safe.
That’s the brutal lesson Thorne learned as a young wolf-shifter. Abandoned as a child, singled out by an evil uncle, and then forced to work for the ruthless Order of the Well, Thorne’s anger was a weapon as much as his claws. Now a vicious Fae Guardian, he hunts monsters, the human enemy, and anything that gets in his way. On a mission to find his missing mentor, … find his missing mentor, Thorne finds himself suddenly mated to Laurel, a beautiful, driven, but damaged human awoken from a time long since past.
A forced marriage is something neither of them want.
But everything they need.
Spending time with her teaches him that arm’s length might not be a good thing. Learning to love will mean scratching the surface of both their souls, revealing truths more painful than any wound. If he can get past the hurt, the pain, and the pride, Thorne will find a new use for his claws… to bury deep and never let her go.
But when a dark figure from Laurel’s past catches up with her, it’s not Thorne’s claws in question. It’s hers. If he can’t stop her from exacting bitter revenge, she’ll cost him the safety of his mentor and perhaps trigger a war. He must learn to put his angry past behind him, open his heart and trust new friends or she’ll be lost to him for good.
A gripping, new style of epic fantasy with steamy romance featuring a dash of time travel, monster hunting, fated mates, shifters, fae protectors and their strong willed women from our time. If you love your books full of page turning action, intrigue, and romantic tension then this book is for you. For fans of Kristen Ashley’s Fantastical series or Sarah J Maas’s adult fantasy romance.

The epic journey of wolf shifters and their human mates continues in Book Two. I loved it just as much as I had loved Book One. The story is gripping and the setting is literally out of this world. This is the kind of story that you’ll never want to end. Be ware though, this book is bound to give you the worst book-hangover of your life!
I pretty much loved everything about this story, but I feel that the best part it how it combines the old and the new, paranormal and sci-fiction, as well as, adventure and romance. It’s the kind of story that all readers can enjoy equally. There are enough twists and turns to keep readers entertained through out the book. In fact, once you start reading, this book is very hard to put down. At least, that’s how it was for me. I also loved the whole ‘we have to save the world’ premise, it’s my favorite. It makes you root for the characters instantly. Not to mention, the characters are really lovable anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book. So I most definitely recommend this book.
Such an addictive series. I love ebooks but, I love, love, love audio books more. You really get the feel of actually being there in the side lines as all the events unfold. With that being said, this is an epic, well written, steamy, fated mates, action, intrigue and delicious read.
I loved it! This is a great series. I was concerned about reading Thorne’s story, but was pleasantly surprised how Lana worked her magic.
Definitely as good as book 1, if not better!
Thorne has had a really rough life, and that has shaped him into a very angry and gruff wolf-shifter and Guardian. While on a mission to find his missing mentor, Throne is suddenly and unexpectedly matted to a human. Laurel’s past may seem like she had everything she could want, but not everything is as sunny as it seemed. When an evil from Laurel’s past comes back to haunt them, will Laurel’s desire for revenge overcome them both or will Thorne help her move forward?
This is a post-apocalyptic dystopian world with a fantasy twist, a combination of two of my favorite genres. The world that Lana has created is so detailed and I absolutely love all the characters.
I cannot say enough amazing things about this story & you need to start this series if you haven’t already!
This is the 2nd book in the Fae Guardians series and I recommend reading the 1st book before this one so you can understand the characters better.
Due to the unsanctioned breeding law, Thorne grew up without family to care for him. His mother was killed and his father, Rush, was cursed so that no one could see or hear him, not even his son. As a result he was left with an evil uncle and then thrown into the lake at a very young age to see if he would be accepted as a Fae Guardian. The test to become a guardian means you are either accepted by the well or you drown. He survived and became a Fae Guardian, but understandably had a lot of anger and a chip on his shoulder. The only person he was close to and considered family was Jasper, his Fae Guardian mentor. When Jasper disappears, Thorne does everything he can to find him.
In the previous book he finds out that, Laurel, a human frozen in time, will lead him to Jasper. But he has to wait for her to be found and wake up. This book starts with him finding Laurel, who turns out to not only be the person to lead him to Jasper, but his well blessed mate who has the power to create fire. Laurel wakes up to everything that she knows and loves gone and a new world where Fae and humans do not get along. She has powers to create fire and finds out almost immediately that she’s mated to a Fae Guardian who can turn into a wolf.
This story was a great fantasy adventure romance with Laurel finding her way in this new world and going with Thorne to find and save Jasper. Along the way they both learn to trust and love each other. One of the things about being well blessed mates is that they can feel each others emotions. I love how Thorne felt her emotion of happiness and was able to feel it for the first time himself and how Laurel helped him get over being angry all the time.
Now I’m looking forward to reading Jasper’s book next.
I absolutely love this series! I don’t know if I’d ever read anything like it. I love the whole idea of how It’s a new world and the Fey and humans are at odds. I would recommend trying this story and reading the first in this series.
This is a great series! A well written gripping, epic fantasy with steamy romance, some time travel, monster hunting, fated mates, shifters, fae protectors and their strong willed women. This has a great storyline and is full of action, intrigue, romance and so many emotions, it’s just wow! A great second book!

I thought The Solace Of Sharp Claws was amazing.
Lana Pecherczyk is a mad story weaving genius, I absolutely love her work!
So it’s going to be a big HECK YEAH I most definitely recommend this book because I loved escaping into it’s pages and losing track of time.

Two people brought together to heal.
This is a story of Thorne and Laurel. They found themselves together as mate and neither wanted it but can’t stop it. They have to learn together as they are both broken but together they can learn to heal. This was a wonderful fantasy adventure. I can’t wait for the next book ! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Jammed packed with everything! Anger issues to the umpteenth level, characters waking up after a thousand year sleep, heavy, intense, stressful interactions. And if that’s not enough, how about being branded as mates with someone that stands for everything that enrages you. This author is brilliant and has made the journey of these characters seemingly impossible to get to an HEA. Flew by way too quickly and I am looking forward to the next! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
OMG! I’m in love!!
“The Solace of Sharp Claws” is the second book in the “Fae Guardian” series and it did not disappoint! It’s raw and exciting and action-packed and so very original with twists and new characters as well as your favorite old ones. I could not put this tale down and the twists are an added surprise. The well-blessed mates are another surprise. You will get some answers from book 1, but you leave with new questions that will be answered in book 3. I’m falling in love with this series and Lana keeps sucking me in so tightly that I don’t want to get loose! I highly recommend this series.
I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily
Fantastic book. I couldn’t put it down, loved it. Lana Pecherczyk has once again produced a well written story. The characters were captivating and it has action and entertainment as well as romance, so it’s well rounded. Can’t wait to read more.

AWESOME!! JUST AWESOME!! THIS SERIES IS REALLY HEATING UP!!!
Two damaged souls. One out of their time. Both learning to break down walls and trust. Not just themselves and each other but the ones around them whom they never realized loved and cared for them. Heartache is a very selfish pain sometimes.
So, can this band of friends and frenemies save the new Earth? Only time will tell. Don’t miss a single book in this new world that Earth becomes after humans of today mess it up.
A must read for romance, fantasy, and strong women everywhere. Lana Pecherczyk rocks.
