Get snowbound with this classic holiday romance by #1 New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber! A Christmas story for the keeper shelf!Practical Jenna Campbell has done something impractical. She’s met a man on the Internet and now, a month before Christmas, she’s going to Alaska to marry him. Dalton Gray seems to be everything she wants in a husband—sensitive, gallant, romantic… gallant, romantic…
On the flight to Fairbanks, she has the misfortune to sit beside Reid Jamison, who obviously isn’t sensitive, gallant or romantic. However, he’s not impressed with her plan to marry Dalton, a man he detests (for good reason, as Jenna later finds out). So Reid takes it upon himself to change her destination—and her marriage plans.
Which is why Jenna ends up at Reid’s cabin in tiny Snowbound, Alaska. It’s currently a one-woman town (and the other woman’s out of town). That leaves Reid, a bunch of eccentric old men, a few grizzly bears—and Jenna. Kidnapped! And then there’s a blizzard. The two of them alone, stranded in Snowbound…
Maybe she’ll be a Christmas bride, after all!

What can I say? Debbie Macomber never disappoints
Love it
A quick easy read
The story presented a number of women’s values toward men, love and marriage. The story is set in Alaska mostly, where the heroine goes to meet her internet love… but she doesn’t realize she is being scammed. The story gets interesting when her seat mate on the plane “saves” her by taking her to a remote and isolated town where she gets stuck in a snowstorm with him but maintains her determination to connect with her internet love despite the fact she is growing quite fond of her “rescuer/kidnapper”. I love how it all played out and the compassion shown to others who live in this snowbound village. A delightful story with a delightful ending.
I loved it and it was a quick read.
Simple story. Interesting development of relationships between caricatures. What is she running away from? What is she running to? What will she run back to?
You will figure out pretty soon into the story how it will end but it is a fun journey. A good book to pick up and read when you just want a quick read with a Happy ending.
As usual, this author writes a great read
Nice clean love story
Fun, easy read…nice choice to read in between the non fiction I usually read.
Cute story. Young woman answers an ad on the computer. Goes to Alaska to meet this man. Meets a different man on the plane. He tells her The man she came to see is a womanizer and he kidnaps her to save her from géntleman #1. She becomes snowed in. The rest is predictable.
This was a great holiday read. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Great easy to read Christmas book.
I love Debbie Macomber Christmas stores. They’re beautifully written with get characters.
Jenna believed that Dalton was a gentleman, when he wasn’t. I applauded Reid for “kidnapping” Jenna, to help her.
This is a good book with some quirky characters. It was awfully short, but original.
Such a fun book. I caught myself smiling several times!
A beach book with a twist of interesting characters to spice up the pages. A reader’s smile producer.
Take a California girl; add a handsome Alaskan bachelor; add some sweet yet quirky characters and you have a story you won’t want to put down.
Sweet story
The Snow Bride is perfect December read. You can’t go wrong with a book set in Alaska by Debbie Macomber, queen of Christmas! It’s a light, quick read with lots of tension between the heroine and hero. Possibly my favourite Debbie M. Christmas book yet.
