Special agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine take on a criminal mastermind in the next captivating thriller in the New York Times bestselling A Brit in the FBI series. “Coulter and Ellison smoothly mix contemporary political issues with eerie historical legend in this fast-paced” (Publishers Weekly) thriller. The mystery: shocking. When several major political figures die mysteriously, … several major political figures die mysteriously, officials blame their deaths on natural causes. However, when a small drone is spotted at the scene of the most recent death, it quickly becomes clear to FBI agents Nicholas and Michaela that there’s more to this mystery than meets the eye.
The key: indecipherable.
Dr. Isabella Marin is a language expert, and she’s dedicated her entire life to researching an ancient text that has long been considered indecipherable…that is, until now. When it becomes clear that there’s an alarming pattern between the text and the recent deaths, she teams up with the FBI to find the link. It’s clear that the manuscript is the key to catching the killer. But how?
The case: nearly impossible.
When Nicholas and Michaela uncover plans for a devastating attack on London, they must race against the clock to stop the killer before it’s too late. Not only are they in danger of losing the manuscript–an object of extreme value–but they’re also at risk of losing more innocent lives: including their own.
With their signature heart-pounding tension and suspense, Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison’s The Sixth Day is “another amazing entry in this ongoing series” (Associated Press).

Another great read. Really enjoy the Brit in the FBI series. The “good” characters are likable & fun. Scary thought re computer hacking & worldwide control. The use of falcons & drones, as well as a twist on Dracula made for a different story.
Nicholas Drummond and FBI agent Michaela Caine of the Covert Eyes Team returns to fight another crime together. Two stories rolled into one with missing pages of the Voynich manuscript appearing and the connection to Roman Ardelean who along with his twin has created an army of hawks that along with drones which can send a needle into the neck of any enemy is out for revenge. Nicholas along with Michaela and other characters from previous books in the A Brit in the FBI series work to handle the cyberattacks and then solve the mystery of the manuscript pages which suddenly appeared and were not part of the original previously stolen Voynich manuscript theft. I felt the book was long winded and took away from a great story. I have been a fan of this series but this one missed the mark for me
Great story lines that all tie together and keep you guessing.
Highly disappointing! I eagerly read all of Coulter’s books but this one was a waste of time and money. Vampires? Really? I won’t be reading anymore of Coulter’s and Ellison’s books in this series.
I always enjoy Catherine Coulter.
All Catherine Coulter FBI books are great.
This book is part of series. I recommend reading the series in order.
Love these FBI books.
This author always does a great read.
The latest in The Brit in The FBI series follows previously well developed characters. Coulter has allowed Ellison to bring her very dark and twisted storyline into play again and it makes for an interesting combination of drama and the continuing development of the players as they race to solve the mystery presented. Very current and plausible situations that bring history into today’s world. A must read for anyone who believes the past continues to affect the present.
Always a suspenseful read that makes me want to drop everything else and get lost in the story.
I love her books because the characters continue to the next series. You feel like you have history with them.
Love everything Catherine Coulter puts out!
Always enjoy this series
This thriller is set in Great Britain where falconer and technology genius Roman Ardelean and his brother Radu have begun their plan to control the internet and the world with their Radulov software and their army of drones. From the beginning of the book, you know who the bad guy is, but you quickly realize that he will not be easy to stop, if it is possible at all. Entwined in the story is the tale of a lost Voynivich manuscript, something that is mysterious and can only be understood by certain people, notably Romanians in this twisted tale. Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine are tasked with finding and stopping Ardelean. Add in the fact that he uses his falcons as weapons and his drones as fly in instruments of death, you have enough twists and turns and action to keep you reading long into the night. This was the first book that i have read in the series, but I have now purchased others to read because this was so good! I have a stack of TBR books, but this one moved to the top of my list because of its captivating story that seems all too real and possible…and scary!

The Sixth Day is a fast-paced action/thriller with the feel of an adventure and international crime novel rolled into one. This story is engrossing from the first page as the intrigue draws you in and keeps the pages turning with its heart pounding twists and action. The authors add a dash of paranormal with an ancient manuscript in a secret twin language. With almost magical healing properties, the manuscript is traced back to Vlad the Impaler through flashbacks that will evoke “The Da Vinci Code”. The use of technology in the book to spy and commit murder is credible in a way that will feed your paranoia and have you looking over your shoulder for drones and distrusting all software. The book uses falconry in a way that is relevant and fascinating. All the elements in the book come together in a compellingly realistic, if somewhat fanatical, story that hooks the reader and wildly nourishes the imagination. As expected, another fantastic read in a splendid series written by two of the best author in the business. My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.
