Repetitive and predictable—do not recommend
I read it awful ago but I remember that I didn’t want to put it down until I finished it.
I have to be honest here. The cover drew me in immediately and the blurb sounded fantastic. It’s not a bad storyline but it felt more planned than real feelings put behind it. More a task to get finished rather than to tell a characters story. Little disappointed.
A few words for this book, fucking mental, like oh my god. I had so many mind changes through this, like one minute I liked Beatrice and then I hated her and the same with Ben. From the start I thought Beatrice and Ben was a little fucked up and it only proved it when the “secret” is later revealed in the book. And when it is finally revealed it …
It kept me interested until the end, but I was kinda disappointed with the ending.
Loved this book! Just when you have decided who the good “guy” is, something
happens and you have to re-evaluate.
I was a little freaked at the end, which is good! Enjoyed this book very much.
I was only able to make it through @ half of the book. The main character is tragic and paranoid, and her paranoia eventually becomes a drudge. Not to mention all of the ‘subtle’ clues by other characters alluding to some quasi-related other, intertwined tragedy.
The ending was a little anticlimactic. It kept my interest enough to finish it but could have been written better!
Great story and characters, kept me guessing to the end!
I’d never read it again but it was entertaining.
Being a big fan of similar books, I was really excited about this. I did read it rather quickly, but even while keeping me engaged with the characters – who’s bad, who’s good, who’s lying, etc. – the reveal and entire book is “eh”. I stuck with it hoping it would get better, but never really does.
Whew, what a story of tragic loss…kept me on the edge of my seat!
Ending a little weird, but overall ok
Good writing
Intriging. Love this writer. Have to read more. Couldn’t put it down. I still wonder what the characters are up to weeks after I finished.
Very realistic characters. As the book goes on it becomes harder and harder to put down.
Good psycho thriller. Kept me guessing.
I am quickly becoming addicted to psychological thrillers, and this is a good one. The author leads you in several different directions, the ending is not quite what I thought it would be. Definitely worth reading if you are a fan of this type of book.
