I enjoyed this easy read and purchased the next two in the series.
What a fun story……these ladies, all so different, all in need, come together and form a home, a family and against all odds become friends.
An interesting story line…. a widow whose husband left her with nothing except the house she is living in. She needs to start making her own decisions for the first time; the first one is to rent out rooms in her house. What happens when you throw very different personalities together in one house? Definitely conflict which needs resolution!
I fell in love with the characters!! Each one was unique and had a great personality!! I loved it so much I bought the whole series!
Couldn’t put it down.
Gives some good advice about sister circle groups, forming and meetings.
So glad I read this book, was nice to read something funny at times and down to earth in human reactions.
Great characters. Really uplifting, especially encouraging.
A wonderful book!
I loved this book about all the multi generational women living in a boarding house together.
I really like this story and thankfully the story goes on in a series I hope to read soon.
Though a bit predictable in places, a sweet read that reflects the ups and downs of relationships between women quite accurately. It makes the point that friends are the family that you choose, even if it’s just for a season.
Love the characters and the bond between the ladies!
The story pf a recent widow that opens her Victorian home as a boarding house to three completely different women and the effect they have on each other’s lives.
It kept me interested and I enjoyed it.
Wonderful story on relationships.
I enjoyed this book very much. It had me crying at times and laughing at other times. I loved the characters. It was very easy to read and loved the scriptures in the book.
Lots of good insight into people’s behavior.
It was a great but easy read. The characters were so diverse and so well depicted. The story was very humorous, touching, and inspiring…the determination of females is amazing.
Loved this book and the way the author wove of the lives of the characters together. It was written with a solid Christian worldview, which I appreciate.
