Such a great series of books…enjoyed them all quite a bit. Good characters and a positive storyline without anything completely horrible/scary.
Loved it. Great book
So encouraging!
I loved this book, and did not want to put it down. Would love to read the entire series.
Never had read anything from either of these authors, but certainly will now. Great read.
I loved how the women in this book evolved to become true sisters in Christ. I could relate to many of the problems these women had. I am a Christian but I don’t like to be preached to as so many Christian authors tend to do. This book is a great example of the right way to express Christ’s love and how your life can be changed by His love. I …
Really enjoyed this book! A widow opens her home to three other women and they built a special friendship, thru love and faith. Very enjoyable! Loved this story. Thank you.
I stopped reading this book after the first 5 minutes, thinking it was a downer. Before I erased it from my Kindle I decided to give it a 30 minutes chance. I loved it!! So much, in fact, that I downloaded the following three in the series and read those also!
I have read all 4 of this sister circle series, thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters, the effects they have on each others lives, so totally inspirational! There is surprises, wit, and sisterhood! I heartily recommend these books for church libraries, they are the epitome of what Romana 8:28 means to us!
I received the book for free on bookbub and enjoyed it so much I purchased the rest of the series for my Kindle then went on line and bought the series for my daughter in law. Basicly the books revolve around a recent widow who finds out her husband has left her with a small income. She needs to make a living but has been so emotionally beaten …
This is a charming read!
It was uplifting with real life characters.
A lovely book where four women, one child and assorted friends learn to put their faith into practice! It’s wonderful to watch them grow and change through challenge and through victory. I bet all of us can identify with one of them.
Great book on friendships between women & forgiveness. Inspiration was woven into the story naturally. Author developed the characters nicely: you could picture what they would look like.
Although renting out one’s house in such a short time and without being more diligent in ascertaining the renter’s credentials is totally inane, the story itself was interesting and enjoyable. I think it was fairly unreal in many respects, it did provide a measure of spirituality without being preachy.
I liked this book. Enjoyed reading about a group of woman of a certain age, becoming vulnarable with each other. Pointed them each to God.
When Evelyn becomes a widow and has been left no life insurance to live in, she opens her house to women boarders. Their stories and the faith that brings them all together make for entertaining and uplifting reading. This is the first book in what promises to be a memorable series.
This was a fun read, full of quirky characters and real-life situations. The characters all had very good vocabularies, too, so there was no foul language. I missed the characters once I turned the final page.
Great! Our Book Club will be reading and discussing this book.
I just thoroughly enjoyed all four books in the series and hated to see it end.
