First of all…I don’t have time for this. Adulting did not happen the moment I opened this book. FFS. The elite kings are hawt af–and I literally cannot wait to read the rest. 5 “I’m in love with Nate” stars.
A heart-shattering and sinfully twisted tale such as this one is going to get the readers hooked right from the beginning, effortlessly spellbinding their minds with its originality and unpredictability! Furthermore, not even using all the words in the world would be enough to express how magnificent and spectacularly written “The Silver Swan” by Amo Jones truly is!

“But you will be dead by the time this is done. The timer starts now. The games have just begun.”
Madison Montgomery is a rich girl with a tainted reputation because of her mother’s actions. Her mom is famous for murdering her father’s mistress and then killing herself afterwards. So every time Madison joins a new school, finding friends and forming relationships is beyond difficult.
When her father marries a wealthy woman, Madison gets stuck sharing a mansion with a stepbrother. A sexy stepbrother that is part of The Elite King’s Club.
The group is more than trouble. And the leader, Bishop Vincent Hayes, has his eyes set on her.
The last book I read by Amo Jones wasn’t a hit for me…
but this book…
THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!!!
It has everything I love: mystery, romance, suspense, hot sex. I need book 2 now!!!!
***This story is NOT FOR YOUNG ADULTS.
I’ve been blown up to pieces. There is no recovery. Wow! This world of the Elite Kings is wonderful and also suspect. Just when you this you have it all figured out Amo Jones thows you a curve ball. I’m in love!
Can’t believe I waited so long to read Amo Jones and I have no regrets. You’ve never met bullies like the Elite Kings. Getting drawn into their world is a recipe for disaster. But there is a whole lot more going on than meets the eye and right now, I STILL have no clue what it is but I am here for the ride. Madison will need to be stronger than she has ever been to be part of this world, but it isn’t the first time she’s had to have this kind of strength. She has a spine of steel though and if anyone can bring Bishop and the other kings to their knees, she is it. I can’t wait to see what she has in store.
Oh holy mother of freaking god ?
Why Amo Jones why?
This is the first book in the Elite Kings Club Series.
This book is seriously not for the faint of heart or the people who get annoyed easily cuz you seriously need to have a lot of patience.
This book was really confusing and sooo many twists of my god.
In each chapter there is something new and i just couldn’t stop reading.
Bishop was an enigma throughout the book and was particularly sinister and intense and he has this hate/fascination for Madison.
He is also the King of the kings.
Madison is supposed to be the new girl in the school but she quickly becomes a part of the kings even they are said to be dangerous.
She is supposed to be hated by all the kings but suprisingly is not.
This book is dark erotica and is high on mystery and suspense and just real page turner because this book ends on a cliffhanger and the amount of questions i had were more than the books in my tbr list.!!
There are two more books after this which are:-
The Broken Puppet and Tacet A Mortuis.
The second book in this series is The Broken Puppet and that book will fuck with your brain more than this one did.
Just like the last book it has a lot of angst , dark romance ,suspense and mystery and it will make go brain go nuts!!!!
It kind of answers some of your questions but then plants a thousand more!!!!
This book has soo many twists and turns which had my heart thumping .
The third book in this series is called the Tacet A Mortuis and this is mind numbing yet makes you want to rejoice because finally you are getting the story together as to what is happening and what happened.
The author surely thinks dark thoughts because these three books are all fifty shades of fucked up but it is a hit.
I did not think twice before reading them all.
I love all these books and trust me when i tell you… the steamy scenes here …are over the top with a cherry steamy.
The extra chapter… just… thank you queen jones.

I’m still absolutely LOSING MY MIND over this book! Amo Jones, you freaking GENIUS! I was a little worried, reading the reviews and seeing so many people saying how lost they were while reading this, but I think Amo wrote The Silver Swan perfectly! While weaving a web of mystery and manipulation for us readers, she was simultaneously wrapping up a gorgeous present with a perfectly tied bow to present to us at the ending. While I was a tad confused at times, I was mostly in awe. The Silver Swan was beautiful, dark, twisty, mysterious, sexy, and FILLED with hot, brooding bad boys that I would let run a train on me any day.
I can’t even begin to sum up what this book is about enough to justify it. If you like Corrupt, These Monstrous Ties, or the Royal Elite Series (so I’ve heard), I think you’ll LOVE this series.
I never thought I would find a series that could even compare to Devil’s Night by Penelope Douglas but of course leave it to Amo Jones. She completely broke my brain. Like shattered it, to pieces.
With a dedication of “To stories that fuck you so good you’ll need a cigarette. This is one of those stories.” what else did I expect??
The Elite Kings Club is seriously disturbed, that is the best way that I can describe it. There were countless times that I was totally confused and other times that I was just floored at what I was reading. Like WHAT?!
Every single one of the guys of the Elite Kings Club was cracked in their own way and while we only really got to see sides to Bishop and Nate you can tell that the other guys are just as screwed up. Especially Brantley what the hell is his problem BTW?
Oh, and Madison where the hell do I begin with her? Until about 50% of the book I couldn’t decide who the hell she was after. I kept thinking “surely not Nate, right?” and then the next second I was like “OK, maybe Nate?” Obviously, she had her attraction with Bishop, but I couldn’t exactly figure out what the heck was happening with her.
I know, I know these are just ramblings but that is kind of where I am at right now with this story. I figured if I just wrote down all my thoughts then I would get some semblance of a review but apparently not. These are just thoughts.
From here though I will say that I am totally going to read book two The Broken Puppet because with that ending seriously?? I do hope that moving forward I will get a better look at who the Kings are and what role they play exactly.
4.5 Stars I’m going to be honest. For about 80% of this book I had no idea where it was going, but I sure was along for the ride. There’s a lot going on here and a tonne still to come, if I know anything about Ms. Jones and the way her stories go. But I was really engaged the whole time and really nervous to see what’s up next. Bring it on.

STORY:
The moment this starts, I got sucked in. There were a lot of mystery surrounding these 10 guys and 1 girl. I liked the way Maddie tells this story and coming from a single POV, that was good.
It’s the typical blueprint to some dark/bully romance. However, I can say it wasn’t mind-blowing, but not awful either.
I personally wouldn’t say this was dark or at least what I was expecting to be dark; as I always say, a dark read is interpreted differently to other people. I definitely would say it’s more mysterious with suspense and add in some what the hell moments. Maybe because it’s book one and there is more to come. I did find it repetitive with the I can’t tell you, what’s going on. That’s what I find with cliffhangers, the first book tends to drag out.
Bishop is that bad boy alpha that you can’t help but read about. I like that dominant side to him. He was hot and cold but made it work. Maddie was ok. Nothing stood out that was awesome to me, maybe because she was rich. However, both gave an interesting show.
CHEMISTRY:
Ok, so don’t judge me but the saving grace for me personally, were the sex scenes. A little manhandling and I hate you sex was widely entertaining.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
Secondary characters were interesting. There were too many kings, 10 guys, but only Nate stood out.
Nate – Maddie’s stepbrother. He is likable and the man whore of the group because it seems every group needs one.
Tatum – Maddie’s best friend. Definitely annoying friend.
Tillie – Maddie’s best friend. I really like her. Thought she moved a little quickly with Nate. Also at the cabins with Nate, Bishop and Maddie, it started getting annoying when she started being secretive with the I know something but I can’t tell you interaction with Maddie.
OVERALL, not bad, not great as there are still so much to understand and know.
TRIGGERS: Violence, guns, bullying etc..
****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.
Silver Swan The Elite Kings Club Book 1
@thatcrazykiwiauthor
I’ll admit, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I started this book, but I really enjoyed it. It is dark, intriguing, and suspenseful. I love a good intricate storyline that keeps the reader guessing– this one definitely did!
Pretty sure I got some drool on my Kindle over Bishop and needed an ice cold shower after some of the steamy scenes. Seriously hot!!
We are left with a major cliffhanger. I’m dying to figure out what’s going on! I have so many questions. If dark, romantic suspense and bully romances are your thing, you definitely need to check this one out.
I saw a lot of mixed reviews but I have read Amo Jones in the past and have yet to be disappointed so I thought I’d give it a shot.
This is a character series, however, unlike a lot of character series, the storyline continued where each book left off it just was told from other POVs which I did like.
I LOVED the first three books from Madison’s POV. I loved her and Bishops crazy ass relationship. The storyline is really good too! It has an ‘elite/secret club’ of sorts. It reminds me of The Life and Death Brigade from Girlmore Girls except more deadly and dangerous.
I read the 4th book and most of the 5th book which are from Tillie’s POV, however I did not finish the 5th or go onto the next book. I couldn’t stay into it and felt myself hating a lot of the characters and where the storyline was going. This may just be me and not liking character series.
The only things I liked about this book were Madison and Tate’s friendship and I must admit the very last chapter was the only interesting part for me. It was intriguing. I feel like the story was kind of rushed out but at the same time slow(doesn’t make sense I know) also throughout the story too many things were happening, I got so confused. This book kind of reminded me of Corrupt by Penelope Douglas too. I listened to the audiobook and did not really like it. However, I got a glimpse of the second book and it sounded much more interesting so I might try it.
The Silver Swan was an incredible read! It was dark, it was intense and the angst… drowning in the angst.
We are introduced into the world of the Kings, and the many secrets that their society holds. We meet Madison and are taken through her journey with said Kings, and most importantly Bishop.
This book is dark. There are a few triggers in the novel, and it even made me squirm, which takes a lot. The story is intense and should be read with caution. They were also heartbreaking.
There’s plenty of action in the book. It’s heavy on the action and mixed with the intense darkness that’s seeped into the book, it gives it more adrenaline, more of a thrill to read. It was addictive.
Madison’s and Bishop’s relationship is… well, complicated. It is steaming HOT, it is intense, with moments of vulnerability and an edge I can’t quite describe. Their chemistry was palpable and hot to the touch, and Bishop is. A. God!
The chemistry between the other kings, Damn! This book was insanely hot!
And that ending… It was an array of emotions and dark, intense and emotional. I didn’t know whether to be angry or cry. It was soo good but so very intense.
This book was unlike anything I’d read before. It was dark, it was raw, gritty and intense. It was also h**** steamy. This book was the perfect read to satiate the darkness, and it was so addictive. Book two here we come!
This book was amazing! I’m so excited that I dived into series. Jumping into the Broken Puppet now. I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to jump on the Amo train but she is a brilliant author so onto to the next book without giving anything away. You need this series in your life Stat!
I can’t get enough of this author. The books she writes…every word is an enigma but always has a purpose , and when you finally find the meaning of it…you almost wish you didn’t. There’s so much secrecy surrounding these guys, and Madi seems like the only one in the dark. The shared looks between them, the cryptic words, even Tullie knows something. I was going insane trying to put the pieces together. They never give straight answers, always talking in riddles, it just makes me want to know more, dig deeper. Bishop’s intense, it’s like he can see through you, your secrets, it’s sinister, but also alluring, in a dark, dangerous way. His hot and cold temper, their back and forth game, it was messing with my mind, but I love a good mystery. It was addictive. The guys are edgy, they have this dangerous, dark aura that surrounds them, it just screams danger. And “The Book”, it was fascinating, I was at the edge of my seat every time Madi read a new chapter, I just knew that it was connected with The Kings, it was one of my favourite parts of this book. And now let’s wait to see how secrets are going to be uncovered and if Madi can survive the danger that pursues her
‘ , .’
Welcome to the world of EKC where nothing is as it seems and no one is who they appear to be. The riddles, twists and turns kept me hanging on to the bitter end.
I will say. I don’t think I like anyone right now, except for maybe Tatum. Everyone has a lot going on, and secrets don’t make friends.
I’m moving on to the next though, I need to know what is going on.
