The New York Times bestselling novel soon to be a major motion picture starring Nicole Kidman, for fans of The Woman in the Window and The Silent Patient.”I gobbled it down in one sitting.” – Anne Lamott, People
Jodi and Todd are at a bad place in their marriage. Much is at stake, including the affluent life they lead in their beautiful waterfront condo in Chicago, as she, the killer, and he, … waterfront condo in Chicago, as she, the killer, and he, the victim, rush haplessly toward the main event. He is a committed cheater. She lives and breathes denial. He exists in dual worlds. She likes to settle scores. He decides to play for keeps. She has nothing left to lose. Told in alternating voices, The Silent Wife is about a marriage in the throes of dissolution, a couple headed for catastrophe, concessions that can’t be made, and promises that won’t be kept. Expertly plotted and reminiscent of Gone Girl and These Things Hidden, The Silent Wife ensnares the reader from page one and does not let go.

Character development is phenomenal.
Easy read with characters on a morally slippery slope. Read it in a weekend.
Great story of love gone wrong-male midlife crisis and the choices women make…
I enjoyed the read and thought it to be a well-planned story. I found myself involved and waiting for more to come.
Suspense builds as the union of a longtime couple are rocked by his affair, with damaging repercussions. Good psychological tension.
Only continued to the end to see the outcome. Way too wordy and rrepiticious with psycho-babble. Unlikeable characters. Very disappointing.
A truly great read!
Got it because I loved Gone Girl – I was not disappointed.
Very well written, unexpected ending. A real page-turner.
Held my interest after first chapter. Read it in one day. Good read.
Likeable characters, unconventional relationships and ending.
This book was okay, but didn’t really hold my attention.
Loved it
Loved, loved The Silent Wife. Anxious to read more my this author. When reading I thought it would make a great movie and just read that it will be. Can’t wait.
“The Silent Wife” was most intriguing. You were never certain what would happen next. The ending was a whopper!
The Silent Wife was an entertaining read. While the book is interesting and well-written, but I didn’t really like any of the characters. It wasn’t due to bad writing, these are just not likable people
It was just ok
fabulous
Great story, never saw the ending coming.
Enjoyed this a lot. Good read
