Good book, definitely a page turner. Certainly questioned the decisions of many of the motives of the characters.
A very good book. I love this author.
Loved the story and the characters. Couldn’t stop reading!
Believable and chilling!
I couldn’t put it down! Loved it!
I like the message of hope after bad choices
Lots of twists and turns, kept me guessing until the end.
I enjoyed the book a lot. How fascinating to have a sister you don’t remember.
I enjoy all of Diane Chamberlains books. Very easy to get into and enjoy.
Held my attention, but the characters were two dimensional. It was hard to really care about any of them. The “mystery” of the silent sister is okay–not the problem…that was with caring about any of the characters. Recommend the amazing Louise Penny to those who love characterization, plot development, atmosphere, and the skillful use of language.
Highly recommend, great read.
Without giving away the ending, this is one viewpoint and one that I didn’t agree with. Well written and held your attention. The end was tied up nice and tidy. Some one will always be hurt.
I had never heard of this author before this but I will definitely be reading more of her books! One of the best books I have read in a while, I finished this book in one night.
twisting plot turns…unexpected ending
Interesting, but you could see the plot “twists” a mile away.
This book is about a woman, her brother and her dead sister. It is a family with secrets. I thought I had it figured out halfway through, but I didn’t. It was an interesting read.
Great storyline
Loved it, could not put it down.
Just read anything that Diane Chamberlain writes and you will always be in good company. Excellent characters with meaningful development, situations that rings true, yet not what I’m used to dealing with, she just writes books worth reading!
VBTOOO
This story definitely has earmarks of reality in it. I felt like people I know could have contributed to this tragic and yet real life story. The twists and turns kept my attention and it was hard to put this one down.
