She never intended to overhear his.

He gives Miss Keene little choice but to accept a post at Brightwell Court, where he can make certain she does not spread what she … not spread what she heard. This book was incredible! I loved Klassen’s detail for historical accuracy and her superbly written characters. The plot was so engaging and didn’t revolve around the main characters relationship, but there was enough of a love story that I couldn’t help but look forward to the main characters next encounter together. The story line, the …

A very busy 1800’s England story with so many twists and a plethora of unanswered questions that grew one upon the next… but eventually all the twists were resolved and the questions were answered.

Very sweet story. I enjoy reading books that are not full of sexual scene but leave the reader using their imagination.
I like it.
Once I began reading, I could hardly put it down.
A romance novel of past years using characterization of class structure and misunderstandings between folks. A building romance trying to figure out what is right and wrong. Enjoyed it.
Julie Klassen is one of my favorite authors. This book didn’t disappoint.
