Sometimes, doing the right thing backfires… planned—she finds out the man she is falling for, Owen Campbell, is the businessman at the center of all her problems.
Owen has secretly longed to belong—somewhere—anywhere—his whole life. When he decides to give his long-lost brother, Jake, back his birthright, he unknowingly thwarts his briefly held hope of a place where he can put down roots and a family he longs for.
Nothing is working out like Owen planned—neither Bella nor Jake wants anything to do with him.
How can a man who is used to being in control and a woman determined to make it all on her own find a way to happiness?

Excellent!
I enjoyed this book.
It was a interesting story. Easy read.
Bella began her life as a single mom very proud of herself to have her own store while raising her two sons. She doesn’t have a lot of money and the ex-husband is really a miserable man. No mention that he gives her any amount of Child Support to help her out. Of course that wouldn’t be good for the story. The hero whose name is Owen has his own challenges to overcome but I won’t say too much about them because they intersect with Bella’s life which you can expect they would do. It’s fairly predictable, and if you don’t guess at what happens, well it’s the sweet read.
Great summer read already reading third book in series
Very predictable but easy to read and entertaining.
Very mediocre
I like finding another author I can follow with small town type stories. I liked
the people in the story and how they turn things around to help all. She make
you love how the people are sharing the life in a small town. I can’t wait to read
the other 5 to keep watching the people grow into the lives they are sharing.
It give me someone else to read while Mary Campisi is adding a new book. I also
like Donna Ball with her family type books. All have the small town life with family ups and downs. Great feel good books where you want to see what they do next. Love to watch the lives of all they people in the town.
Had such as difficult time trying to stop reading it. Wanted to keep going to find out what was going to happen next.
