Four lives knit together… There’s a little yarn store in Seattle called A Good Yarn. It’s owned by Lydia Hoffman, and it represents her dream of a new beginning, a life free from cancer. A life that offers a chance at love… Lydia teaches knitting to beginners, and the first class is How to Make a Baby Blanket. Three women join. Jacqueline Donovan disapproves of the woman married to her only son, … to her only son, but knitting a baby blanket would be a gesture of reconciliation.
For Carol Girard, the baby blanket brings a message of hope as she and her husband make a final attempt to conceive.
And tough-looking Alix Townsend (that’s Alix with an i) is learning to knit her blanket for a court-ordered community service project.
These four very different women, brought together by the age-old craft of knitting, make unexpected discoveries—about themselves and each other. Discoveries that lead to friendship and acceptance, to laughter and dreams. Discoveries only women can share…

I love this series of books by Debbie Macomber.
This is one of a great book the story is such a down to earth characters . I loved it so much I have read it more than once you can go back and read it again and find something you missed the first time .
Very enjoyable easy read.
Love her books and especially these that are part of a series.
This was the first book i read by this author. I have gone on to read anything i can find of hers. Great story, easy to read and really feel like you know the main character and you are pulling for her to win it all in the end.
A great series of books. Each book delves on one character, but brings in the characters from past stories. Believable characters and story lines. Enjoyable stories.
Love this series.
Love the Blossom Street series!
Enjoyed
The author has made an industry out of Blossom Street stories, but I keep on enjoying. It is light reading, charming in its affect. I wouldn’t call this great literature or writing by any means, but worth spending a few hours. It does take you into a different world and any author who can do that should be lauded.
I found this book to be easy to read, a page turner and realistic in that the things that happen to the well written characters could happen to anyone in real life.
It was a fantastic read that will have you reading until you get to the very end!
I highly recommend this book!
