Good book. Lots of fun and funny happenings. Enjoyed reading this book.
I really wanted to like this book, but I finally gave up on it. It is just to slow to start and feels like the story is never going to take off.
Lovely story with great characters.
Okay story but needs a competent editor!
This book has some sad times and some happy times. The children steal the show! It’s sad that often family members have to pay for one person’s sins. I’m glad this mother was so strong and removed her children from hurtful people. Definitely a good read!
Good Read
What a nice guy! The sheriff goes out of his way to protect the widow whose husband took his life while in the sheriff’s jail. Mom is hesitant but her three children are in love. All ends well in a happy ending.
not your usual story line
Liked the twist on a fairly common theme. I started following author because of this book.
The heroine is involved in a variety of struggles that do not defeat her. The plot is a bit darker than expected but leads to a romantic climax. An engaging story.
good read
Love my western classic romance books. This one did not disappoint. Girl played hard to get but the Sheriff was persistent. So glad they got together in the end. Love it.
Excellent!
Fun to read
Good light easy reading. Makes you think about life and how you feel about people. A good point of view from the woman’s angle. A little sappy at times, but cute. You can easily identify with her mama outlook.
Overcoming Pain
This is a beautiful story of second chances of finding happiness for Rachel and her children. She pretty much had to sell everything and let her house go after her husband killed himself in a jail cell. Garrett was the sheriff and the one who arrested him. He liked Rachel is school but be never had a chance to date her. Time had changed the gs.
This is a nice, little book. I liked reading about the small-town vibe, that reminds me so much of the world my parents and grandparents grew up in.
Thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Great book! The story is so interesting, I did not want to stop reading!
Found it interesting and different.
