Ancient law dictates that Sheikh Fatim Safar has to marry or be disinherited by his 30th birthday. Fatim isn’t worried—he married years earlier and had two children with his wife before she died. But there’s a catch: the law states he must be married at age 30. Two weeks from his 30th birthday, there’s no time to change it or fight it…it’s more expedient to marry.Calla Clark is out to prove her … is out to prove her parents wrong. Instead of marrying well like her mother wanted, Calla’s in the Middle East to prove her design prowess. And what better way to do that then becoming seamstress for the royal family and getting to drape fabric over the sexy Sheikh’s rock-hard body. She can’t act on her temptations, of course. She’s got goals to crush. Still, when she watches the way the Sheikh commands his tribe, and cares for his kids, she can’t help but feel an undeniable attraction.
Fatim has taken a liking to Calla, too. She’s smart, thoughtful, and good with his children. With his birthday right around the corner, Fatim offers her the position as his wife. It’s only temporary, and in return for marrying him and helping with his children, he’ll give her everything she needs for the upcoming Fashion Week. Calla agrees…so long as he helps keep her dream alive.
With so many differences between them, Fatim and Calla’s powerful pairing could raise the tribe up to modern heights, or send it to the bin like last season’s cast-offs.

It’s always a wonder how small choices may have big outcomes. The after effects for both of the main characters turns out to be a conclusion neither saw or possibly imagined any better. But being willing to show the depths of your love brings untold joy. Going above the butterflies in your tummy feel to care more for another over your wants and needs is the ultimate sign of love. You will fall in love with Calla and Fatim and the kingdom of Amatbah.

Sheikh Fatim needs to remarry before his 30th birthday, so he and Calla agree to be married for a year, and also to help with her dream of being a recognized seamstress. The deal was just to get a good image for their country, but the more time they spent together the more they fell in love, so Fatim has to decide whether he assumes that he loves her or just have an marriage of appearance. I liked this book and how the plot went on, it’s not a hard story to read and doesn’t contain heavy themes, it’s recommended to readers who like steamy romances.

4.5 stars. This was a very enjoyable sheikh romance! It had all the same components but just written differently that I really liked reading it and was sad to see it end. Good story! The King and his seamstress…

The title The Sheikh’s Wife Arrangement pretty much says it all, and clearly outlines the theme of Leslie North’s new first of a series. But what the title doesn’t share is the growth and emotion that are depicted as Fatim realises that keeping ones heart out of the equation isn’t always possible or even in your or your country’s best interest.
The Sheikh’s Wife Arrangement is a fun, fast-paced and very quick read, with a myriad of interesting characters and a lead couple (Fatim and Calla) who you can’t help but adore. Ms North has again provided great world building, an engaging cast and exotic location. As HEA goes this one was totally believable. I can’t wait to read the next in the series!
The Sheikhs Wife Arrangement is the first in a new Sheikh series about three brothers that discover they must marry before turning 30. In this book we meet Fatim widow, father of two and the current Sheikh ruler of his tribe. Fatim is told of this law just before is 30th so he scrambles to find a bride. Calla has come to Amatbah to become the sheikh’s seamstress a step closer in getting her own designs to Fashion Week! She has also fallen into the role of the sheikhs nanny. Fatim decides that Calla will be the perfect convenient wife. He will help her meet her design goals and she will help him remain ruler. Little do they know that things will change!
This Book Left Me Completely Satisfied.
As always another satisfying story from Leslie North. Her characters are strong and witty with a well developed storyline. I know that once I start reading within the first couple of chapters I’m completely engaged with the characters and into everything that’s going on.
I’m definitely recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

I love Leslie North’s story because they’re feel-good and safe in that I know what the end goal is but I like reading how the characters will get through the obstacles in between. This one was slightly different than the other Sheikh storylines by Leslie North in that Fatim had already been married and his wife died. However, due to the law, that didn’t matter; he still had to be married or be disinherited. In comes in Calla with her own goals in mind and boom! Their chemistry is undeniable but they have their own personalities and getting through both of them is like dealing with children. When they finally get to the end and the epilogue, I can’t help but want more.

I loved it. There were a few comments in the first couple chapters that turned me off and made me worry, but then the story charged ahead and I devoured it. A quick and carefree read.

The Sheikh’s Wife Arrangement is book number one in the Safar Sheikhs series by Leslie North. This is Sheikh Fatim Safar and Calla Clark’s story.
Calla and Fatim’s story was a lot of fun. Fatim doesn’t believe that he can ever be in love and still be the leader he needs to be. Is Fatim and Calla’s arrangement strictly business or has it become personal? Will Fatim let his guard down and take a chance on true love and realize that he can be a better leader? This story is a perfect easy and fresh read that is entertaining, hot chemistry, and fun.

Calla Clark is determined to live her dream. She wants to show the world her design talents. She begins this journey as a seamstress in the palace of Sheikh Fatim Safar. Calla is intrigued by her new life. Fatim catches her eye. He’s a dedicated ruler and a loving father, but he guards his heart. I wish he wasn’t afraid to love. Calla is caring and nurturing to Fatim’s children and she unexpectedly falls in love with the Sheikh. He needs a wife to keep his throne. The answer is Calla. She becomes his wife/nanny, but it’s just temporary. Can Calla stop herself from wishing it was real? I enjoyed this sweet romance. I enjoyed watching Fatim and Calla grow close, but I didn’t want her to be hurt. Their dialogue pulled me in. I also enjoyed the setting. It was lush and exotic. I couldn’t put this book down. Leslie North has a style that is easy to read. The romance was special. I can’t wait for the next book in The Safar Sheikhs series.

This book had it’s charming moments with fairly good main characters. The ancient law was an odd requirement but there really wasn’t any way around it.
Calla had a lot of skills other than just her unique style and brilliance as a clothing designer. One that started to shine was her ability and enjoyment of problem solving and coming up with wise ideas.
Fatim was beginning to enjoy his time with Calla as his wife, his Queen. That had him backpedaling many times, times that hurt Calla. He had this thought, this fear that love would destroy his life and his being a good ruler. He loved his children, his family and his people. But a woman in that position? He had drawn some erroneous ideas about that. And a lot of that had to do with his own pride.
Fatim’s children of course, add to the story without taking over the whole story. Something that I felt did kind of take over parts of the story was the marital sex. And there was quite a bit of that.
The story includes an Epilogue which I enjoyed. The story also had some humor in it. Overall, I would say that most of the story was somewhat predictable. If you are looking for a fast, not real deep story with a H.E.A. then this one is for you.

A business arrangement at heart becomes a matter of the heart
The Sheikh’s Wife Arrangement by Leslie North is a well written fast paced quick read. I really enjoyed everything about this book, but the highlights, my favorites, are the characters, exotic setting and the plot.
Calla and Fatim are a very steamy couple with Fatim taking on a bit of a dominant role. Calla, the people pleaser, is just as sweet and kind as she is determined, focused and ambitious. The plot of for this book is one of my favorites as well; the alpha doesn’t fall in love. Ever. Until now. I also enjoyed the author’s stretching of time, allowing time to elapse without taking away from the depth of feelings that the characters feel.
Overall, a very well written book with excellent pacing doing the characters emotional justice and of course the ultimate resolution with a HEA.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
Another well written book by Leslie North who once again brings strong characters and an entertaining story line. She does a great describing both her characters and scenes and brings the story to life with the sizzling romance between Calla and Fatim. It’s a sweet love story , moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

I liked this book. The chemistry really sparks between Fatim and Calla. I enjoyed the storyline. It is a fun combination of marriage of convenience and fairy tale. A easy, entertaining romantic read.
