When her half-sister flees with her true love to avoid an arranged marriage, Zainab Halil bravely steps up to take her place. All her life, Zainab has sought the approval of her father, Javeed, but even she is shocked when he refuses to consider his oldest daughter—her—for an alliance that will finally bring peace between his tribe and the royal family of Omirabad. Javeed has always been a bit … embarrassed by Zainab, who was the result of a fling with an American girl he met one summer. With her mother dead, Zainab now lives with her father, doing everything she can to win his approval—even if that means marrying a man she’s never met. Though she’s willing to wed for the sake of the tribe, she secretly doesn’t believe it’s much of a sacrifice, given that the one she would be marrying, Khalid bin Salam, is one of the most handsome and charming men she’s ever met.
At first, Khalid is resistant to the idea of an arranged marriage. And then he meets Zainab, and the idea of marrying a stranger is a bit more appealing. He likes her American ways, her lovely smile, her beautiful curves. But Javeed is determined to keep them apart, pulling every string he can reach to ensure each day passes without them seeing each other. That still leaves the nights… And as their passion builds, their marriage seems less arranged and more like destiny. If only Javeed could see what’s best for his tribe and his daughter.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.

An entertaining short arranged marriage type romance. This is an interesting well written and smooth flowing storyline had me engaged from start to finish. The characters were interesting, well developed and had great chemistry while staying true to living life as wished and with family support. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
An arranged marriage with the daughter of a tribe’s leader is what Khaleed is waiting for as the 3rd son, to maintain peace between the royal family and the desert tribes. Even though Zaineb is the oldest daughter of Javeed, she is illegitimate and therefore she is not married off. The eldest daughter of Javeed escapes this by fleeing with the man she loves. Although Javeed does not see a marriage between them, Khalid and Zairah do like each other ….. in the evenings in the gardens where they get to know each other and fall in love. When her father finds out, he sends Zairah back to the desert. Leslie North’s books always end with an HEA. How they find each other again is up to you to find out by reading this book! I heartily recommend this

The Sheikh’s Unexpected Fiancée is the third book in Leslie North’s Omirabad Sheikh’s series. It is the story of Zainab (Zoey), the illegitimate daughter of a deceased American woman and a tribal chief named Javeed, and Khalid, the youngest prince of Omirabad who conducts global business for his country. When Khalid returns home, he is informed of his arranged marriage bartered between his father and Javeed in order to improve political relationships between the royals and the tribes. Javeed plans to marry his youngest daughter (Zainab) to Khalid, but she has run off with the man she loves. Zoey steps up to marry Khalid who is introduced to her and secretly meets with her at night, however Javeed is against a marriage between the two and wants him to marry Zainab when she is found. I recommend reading this great book to find out what happens to this couple secretly meeting.

The story of Khalid and Zoey is not as good as the first one in this series from my perspective. But overall it’s still a satisfying read.

These two were definitely meant to be. From the first moment they were attracted to one another. When the opportunity arose, they jumped on it and things went quick from there. Only, daddy dearest has other plans and sends her away.

Leslie North is a fantastic writer.
Such a wonderful ending!
But my lord, that stubborn old man, Javeed, about made me crazy enough to try to erase his character all together. But Khalid more than made up for the old mans shortcomings. To me, as the reader. And most certainly made it up to Zoey.
I would highly recommend this book and series.
Happy reading!
