Holly Remington can’t believe the burning chemistry she feels with Sheikh Malik Abdul-Rahman. It’s like getting knocked in the head with a baseball bat—except far more pleasant. Though she’s supposed to be all business while her company tries to win a lucrative development contract in the oil-rich country of Qadir, Holly simply can’t stop herself from happily succumbing to his charm. When she’s … she’s called back home after her father suffers a stroke, thoughts of her sheikh romance are never far away. It’s only when she’s ready to return to Qadir to continue her work that she discovers Malik gave her more than sexy memories. She’s pregnant—with twins. And when she sees him again, Malik makes it painfully clear he’s not only rejecting her development proposal, he’s not interested in any other formal proposal either. He wants all of her.
But Holly isn’t sure that’s available, or ever will be.
Sheikh Malik has never reacted to another woman like he does Holly. She’s all business—at least in the beginning—and he finds himself oddly compelled to get to know her other side. Intimately. When he finds out she’s pregnant with his children, he find himself wanting her more. But when Holly begins to talk about how she wants to develop his oasis herself—the one that her company had been desperate to buy and the very one his mother loved and hoped one day would belong to Malik’s future wife, he pulls the breaks on their whirlwind romance. How can he love a woman who seems so out of touch with everything he values?
And yet, how can he not love the only woman whose ever touched his soul?

The project to develop the properties for the royal family didn’t include the oasis as Holly didn’t realize that in the original request. Once she realized this, she knew she had to apologize to Malik and she was determined to do this when they went out to dinner. Although Malik did not want to discuss business. They eventually took their relationship to the next level and Holly discovered after having to return to New York, that she was pregnant. She still created a vision for the oasis in the hopes of presenting it to Malik.
When she returned and gave Malik the news, she was surprised that he was happy. After her boss found out about the relationship, things took a turn for the worst. Also, her and Malik’s relationship falls apart. Once Malik realized she does have the best intentions for the oasis and that he loves her, he wastes no time in tracking Holly down and apologizing and that he loves her and she tells him that she loves him also.

I loved this story. My only complaint is that I wish Holly would have made Malik grovel a bit more.
He deserved it.
I look forward to reading about the next 2 Qadir brothers.
I would recommend.
Happy reading!

Leslie North has written another great sheikh book. I love the romance, love, obstacles that Holly and Malik have to go thru to trust and love one another.

This was a really great story & with wonderful characters Holly & Malik. It was love at first sight I was so happy when they did get together & how he loved that they were having babies together but then he went & spoiled it by being a jerk about his mother’s oasis. The way he treated her without even letting her explain her ideas for it but kept throwing the “its my wife’s” making her inferior as she was only the mother of his children & did feel for her. Its a pity it took her leaving him to realise what he was losing.

It was a good surprise for him. He was not upset because he knew what he did. She was not prepared for this at all. He was supportive of her and made sure that she and the babies were good. Good on him.

A very entertaining and quick read. Holly and her boss are in Qadir to do a presentation for several developments the Royal family is looking for. The only property not on the list for development is the oasis that belonged to his mother. When Sheikh Malik for sees Holly, he is stunned by her beauty. But when Holly starts talking about her ideas for the oasis, he excuses himself and walks away. Neither can stop thinking of the other and finally he asks her out to dinner. The more time they spend, the more the attraction that leads to an unexpected pregnancy and twins. Good storyline and wonderful characters. Love these quick reads .

Happy reading everyone!!
Leslie North’s The Sheikh’s Surprise Twins is the first story in the three book series of the Qadir Sheikhs. This is a story of instant attraction and the explosive nights consumed by passion until Holly returns to her home after receiving news of her father’s illness. When Holly returns to Qadir to finish the project she started, it’s with a surprise announcement to the romancing Malik.
As this story progresses there is second-guessing and doubt as to whether a relationship that was never meant to be can sustain the pressure of royal life just because there’s babies involved and can Holly sacrifice everything she’s worked for in the name of duty. Drama, responsibility, family interference and some miscommunication are all part of this enjoyable story of an unexpected love that paves the way to the future you never saw coming. I look forward to the next book in the Qadir Sheikhs.
Holly is a beautiful woman who is only interested in her work. Her wardrobe is all business elegant. Her training started at her father’s knees. He taught her to hold her emotions in check and to never give up. In this story, she is attending with her boss to visit with other architects and developers, the sites the royal family of Qutir wants to develop. The crown prince, Malik, is immediately drawn to her and asks her out to dinner. But she doesn’t have any clothes besides her black and her white pantsuits and boots! Will Malik, the man, be able to seduce Holly, the woman, to put aside her business persona, so that he can get to know her intimately? A well-written story, with great pathos and a hard but swift HEA ending.
This was an excellent read. It was entertaining and sweet. The characters personalities shined through. The storyline was spot on. The ending was absolutely beautiful.

I always enjoy reading “Prince/Sheik” stories. The story starts right away, and the author draws you in. The scenes and imagery are described so well you feel like you are in the desert. The chemistry can definitely be felt, and the beginning sparks of love begin. The story captures all the drama, humor, work relationships, family dynamics, and love. The writer has the amazing talent of making you laugh, cry, and smile during the story. I would recommend the story and look forward to reading other stories.

Holly and Sheikh Malik hit it off right away as long as she doesn’t talk business. She is called back to New York when her father has a stroke. Sheikh has a problem with thinking everyone is trying to ruin his mother’s oasis that has so many memories of his mother. When Holly returns to Qadir she has a surprise to tell Sheikh Malik. She is pregnant. This is a good book. I enjoyed reading it.
These two have an immediate connection and they hit it off immediately. Even with the tension of the developments and her fathers stroke, they finally get their HEA. I can’t wait to read more from this family, they’re fun loving and happy!

For love of an oasis.
Malik is a sheikh who’s future wife will inherit his mother’s favorite place, an oasis in the desert. He’s intrigued by the very different Holly Remington. Holly is all sharp lines and business angles, who wants to develop his oasis.
They tumble into bed and she has to leave (her father has a stroke) when she’s back, she’s pregnant.
But things are rough. There’s the oasis and all their differences, a skyscraper stands between what Malik wants. Or does it? Will twins and his love of all things oasis change how Holly sees the development of the oasis? Will Malik bend and listen to her ideas?
Recommend.
Malik is Crown Prince of Qadir. Holly represents a property developer, one of several bidding on a project in Qadir. She has a plan to develop his mother’s oasis, but he’s not having that. He’s drawn to her as a woman; she plans to use their time together to talk business, but ends up seeing him as a man. They have an incredible night together, but she’s called away on a family emergency. She comes back, hopefully to finalize a development deal. But she has a big secret. What a nice book this is! I did want to smack Malik, though. He seems excited to become a father, and wants Holly to stay in Qadir, but he keeps talking about the oasis will belong to the woman he marries. Holly is really strong and smart, and Malik would know that if he had bothered to look at her proposal. I really enjoyed the story.

This is an amazing story that is heartwarming, sweet and has a bit of drama. This is very well written and has an interesting plotline. This gives an emotional rollercoaster that make s for an engrossing read. The characters are likable and have great chemistry.

Fun & emotionally engaging sheikh romance story. The sheikh is stubborn but him and his family have big hearts. Holly is all business, totally focused on her development contract and hoping for an advancement in her career. They have instant chemistry. I like Holly, she is a hard-worker and very mature about her situation. Qadir has a lesson to learn and Holly means business. They have different goals and reading if or when they will find common ground was very amusing.

Holly comes to Qadir with her boss as a consultant on modernizing the country. There are designs for buildings in modern glass and metal but they don’t seem to be what the ruling family really want. Holly has some designs but they aren’t what her boss wants. She meets Malik, eldest son of the ruler, at an Oasis he has inherited from his mother. The oasis is to go to his wife. Holly has ideas for development of the oasis also but Malik doesn’t want to listen to them because he thinks they are all glass and metal. Malik and Holly find themselves attracted to each other. One night of passion leaves Holly pregnant. She must return to the U.S. when her father becomes ill. She returns to Qadir and tells Malik of her pregnancy and they learn she is having twins.
It is a good read but not the best by Ms. North. Would have benefited from more character development and more detailed story line. But still an enjoyable read.

Will Malik and Holly’s instant attraction lead to a happily ever after
Leslie is my all time favorite author and her sheikh stories are my favorite! The story is about struggle; their instant attraction to one another, their roles of crown prince overseeing the projects and a developer, and Holly’s vision for the oasis. Leslie brings the two together in an explosive fashion, but it is not an easy path for the two to travel. You will read the story in one sitting as it draws you in from page one!
An enthralling romance read
Holly, an architect, is in Qadir to assist her boss on a development proposal for the royal family and leaves an unfortunate first impression with Malik, the crown prince, at the first proposal meeting at a property that is not to be developed. As the story progresses their impressions change, a surprise in the family throws them for a loop, and learning to not jump to conclusions could save their future. Leslie North’s first Qadir Sheikhs book is an enthralling romance read. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for Zaman and Baqir. I also have to wonder if she has anything in the works for Amina.
