Holly Remington can’t believe the burning chemistry she feels with Sheikh Malik Abdul-Rahman. It’s like getting knocked in the head with a baseball bat—except far more pleasant. Though she’s supposed to be all business while her company tries to win a lucrative development contract in the oil-rich country of Qadir, Holly simply can’t stop herself from happily succumbing to his charm. When she’s … she’s called back home after her father suffers a stroke, thoughts of her sheikh romance are never far away. It’s only when she’s ready to return to Qadir to continue her work that she discovers Malik gave her more than sexy memories. She’s pregnant—with twins. And when she sees him again, Malik makes it painfully clear he’s not only rejecting her development proposal, he’s not interested in any other formal proposal either. He wants all of her.
But Holly isn’t sure that’s available, or ever will be.
Sheikh Malik has never reacted to another woman like he does Holly. She’s all business—at least in the beginning—and he finds himself oddly compelled to get to know her other side. Intimately. When he finds out she’s pregnant with his children, he find himself wanting her more. But when Holly begins to talk about how she wants to develop his oasis herself—the one that her company had been desperate to buy and the very one his mother loved and hoped one day would belong to Malik’s future wife, he pulls the breaks on their whirlwind romance. How can he love a woman who seems so out of touch with everything he values?
And yet, how can he not love the only woman whose ever touched his soul?

Sheikh Malik of Qatir was taken with Holly like no other women. Holly is their to get his business proposal but she got hot with Malik too.. She has to leave when her father had a stroke leaving Malik. Holly after making her pitch at the oasis he seem to just turn off and walked away. Now he is making an overture toward Holly. Malik takes Holly out to dinner which was interesting since she tried to keep it to business. They spend a night together and then she gets that bad news that her father had a stroke she had to rush home. When Holly gets back to Qatir to see if they got the contract and also tell Malik about her pregnancy. They go to the oasis and he tells her that she was not getting the contract. Also his future wife will have the say over the oasis. Holly realized that it would be weird to live with their children but he would be married to someone else. Holly needed to get out of the palace fast as she could booking a plane flight for that day. Twists, turns, unexpected possibilities
I enjoyed this easy to read romance. Holly and Malik’s story relies heavily on emotions as the many stark differences between these two causes tension and drama. I thought that the chemistry really sparked off of this couple and that their pull of attraction was tangible. You can expect lots of tension and turmoil as the misunderstandings pile up and their obstinate ways complicate things. In total a very fun read. This is my elective, truthful review.

Leslie North’s new sheikh series starts with a doozy! Sheikh Malik is thrown for a loop when he meets Holly Remington in The Sheikhs Surprise Twins. Holly is in Qadir to work on a property development project in Maliks country. Unfortunately, the development involves an oasis that was a very special place to Malik and his late mother. The chemistry between the two of them is evident right away. However, Holly is a workaholic who’s goal is to become a partner in the firm and Malik is more of a traditional kind of guy. Throw in a family emergency, unexpected pregnancy, different property development visions, misunderstandings and you get to read a great story and see a special relationship evolve!
Leslie North has written a wonderful 5-star book that will not let you go once you’ve started reading it. Holly is in Qadir with her boss, Clifton to see if they can get a redevelopment contract with the royal family. Malik is standing in one of the doorways to the tent where the party is being held at and he sees Holly walk in another doorway. He wants to know who she is and also to get to know her. He walks up to her and starts talking with her. After everything is over, he walks her back to her hotel. He tells her that he wants to kiss her and then asks her to have dinner with him the next night. The next day she gets a package at work but doesn’t open it. Once she gets back to her room, she opens the package and finds a dress and everything to go with it. Malik takes her to a nice restaurant and after dinner, they go for a walk. They walk back to her hotel and she tells him she doesn’t want the night to end so she invites him up to her room. They spend the night together and the next she receives a phone call from a hospital in New York telling her that her father has suffered a stroke. She tells Malik what is going on and he tells her that he will handle getting her home. He calls her boss, Clifton and tells him that if he wants to go with her he can. Holly is gone for almost a month and during that time she finds out she is pregnant. When Clifton and Holly get back to Qadir they are informed that they will be staying in the palace instead of a hotel. Malik and Holly take off for the day and Holly ends up telling him she is pregnant. Malik calls his sister for the number of an OBGYN and he makes an appointment for her and it was for that day. This is where they find out that Holly is pregnant with twins. When they get back to the palace, Clifton wants to talk to her and he fires her for being in a relationship with Malik. Holly wants to go to the oasis and that is where Malik takes her. Holly takes a picture, missing one that she had on her desk and Malik gets mad and short with her. He tells her that all she wanted was for the oasis to become a project of her own. The ride to the palace is a silent one. Once back at the palace, Holly goes up to her room and packs, she then calls for a car and leaves the palace. She has the driver to take her to a hotel and from there she calls a taxi to take her to the airport. While she is on the way to the airport, Malik is having a talk with his father and he is shown the plans that Holly has done for the redevelopment plans. He tells his father that he will not approve them, his father asks “why” when he has not even seen them yet. Malik takes a look at them and they are nothing like he thought they would be. He tells his father that he has to go and find Holly. When he gets to Holly’s room it is empty, he asks a maid if she knows where she is and she tells him that all she knows is that Holly called for a car. On the way to the airport, Holly gets a call from her ex-boss telling her that the royal family has approved of the plans she did for the development they wanted done, but with some conditions. Those conditions are that Holly is the one in charge of the projects. She tells him she will have to think about it. The plane is on the taxiway when they are told to come back to the jetway. Holly saw 3 black SUVs coming towards them and stopped near where the plane had been and the back door of one of the opened and The crown prince of Qadir stepped out. The door of the plane opened and a crew member rolled a set of stairs up to it and Holly stood in the doorway.
Can Holly forgive Malik for the way he has treated her?
Can Malik make it up to Holly for what he said to her and the way he treated her, or will she still go home?
