Every time Natalie looks at her beautiful daughter, Iris, she can’t help but think about the passionate night she spent with a prince—and for good reason: Prince Iman Karawi is Iris’s father. Though Natalie longed to tell Iman about their daughter, unknown to her, Iman’s manipulative uncle hid the truth. Even as she goes on with her life, caring for her daughter and her dying mother, she cannot … cannot get thoughts of Iman out of her mind. Now, six years later, a chance meeting brings back all the feelings Natalie’s tried to forget. How could one-night haunt her after all this time? It’s clear Iman wants to continue where they left off, and it’s just as clear to Natalie that he might break her heart again. Especially if he ever finds out that little Iris is his.
For Iman, Natalie was always more than a one-night stand. He never understood why she left so abruptly, and even years later during a chance meeting, he’s still drawn to the blonde beauty in a way he can’t explain. Despite being promised to another by his parents, Iman can’t suppress his excitement—or desire—at seeing her again. But this time, Iman is not ready to say good-bye. He makes her a job offer she cannot refuse, and as he and Natalie spend more time together, it’s clear to Iman he cannot marry his fiancé, not when the love he feels for Natalie burns so deep.
As the past threatens to destroy their blossoming romance, it might be too late for either of them to find the happily ever after that has always been just out of reach.

Natalie was working for Kaylana Private Airlines. Natalie took an extra shift for her coworker. She really didn’t like when she had Prince Iman took his private flight. Natalie and Iman were an interesting, cute and sexy couple in this read. Iris and Beetle were adorable and a humorous addition. The story was good and the characters were strongly portrayed. Very good short read!

Natalie is great. Iman, not so much.
When we first meet Natalie, she’s 23 and a flight attendant with an ill mother.
Iman treats her horribly as a stewardess but when their plane crashes, he does stay with her. They hook up and then Natalie is left young, pregnant and with an ill mother.
Iman moves on and gets engaged.
Six years later, he sees her again and wants her, even though he’s in contract negotiations to marry a princess. I had a hard time looking liking Iman and Natalie was feisty, which was great. But thanks to his uncle she was left to deal with raising Iris all on her own.
Iman never really fights for her or makes her feel treasured. He brings his princess to the palace the morning after they hook up again and for six years, Natalie hasn’t been with anyone else while he has. It has to be fair, ladies. Demand better from men.

For those that love fantasy romance books this ones for you! I was never a fan of any romance stories, but after reading this Leslie North has converted me. Every girl dreams of finding her prince… and some do, while others still dream. This book made me a dreamer again. I hope to have my prince love me as Iman loves Natalie. I definitely recommend this book!!

Although this was to be Natalie’s week off, she needed the money for her mom’s medical bills and accepted her friend’s shift as flight attendant on Prince Iman Karawi’s private flight. The Prince was very annoying, complaining about the coffee being weak. This was the third attempt to get it the way he liked it. A bodyguard snapped at it taking so long, to which she calmly replied that she hadn’t realized the hurry since the first two cups were rejected; she would be happy to get the instant coffee out of the back for him instead. The Prince himself wouldn’t even talk to her, instead letting his guards give her a hard time. But at least once they arrived she would have two whole days in Haamas to explore and see the sights. That would be the best part of the trip.
As Natalie was adjusting the temperature control over the Prince’s head – which he could easily have done for himself – she noticed her position and the men laughing at how she was stretched over him. Just as she was about to tell them off, a loud explosion sounded and the wing of the plane caught fire. She prepared everyone for an emergency landing in an abandoned airstrip the pilot had located. The passengers were not injured, but Natalie was pinned down and Iman refused to leave her, much to his guards’ dismay. When she didn’t answer him to make sure she was still conscious, he told her she was an awful “stewardess”; she immediately corrected him and he chuckled. He was able to pass her a pocketknife to cut the seatbelt and crawl out of the plane. He continued to tease her as her sarcasm and snarky responses were helping her deal with her fear and her injury. But as he looked up, he saw a sandstorm coming and they had only moments to find shelter in the nearby hangar.
Iman was not like a spoiled royal. He was a hands-on guy who had no problem actively participating in their situation, bringing water and sandwiches from the plane. She found a small covered plane in the hangar which was more comfortable to sit in, and he told her to speak up if she did not want his attentions. Otherwise, he knew he could not spend the night here with her and not touch her. Without a second thought, she put her arms around him and kissed him.
They were rescued the next day by helicopter from the palace. Iman’s Uncle Salah glared at Natalie, obviously not wanting her around. At the palace, he took Iman to his father’s bedside, but it was too late. When his father had heard Iman’s plane crashed, he passed away. His uncle went to the guest room and told Natalie she was being given first class tickets to leave immediately. He said this was what Iman wanted, no goodbyes. If she said anything of this experience, Salah would see that she was ruined. So she left the palace, thoroughly humiliated.
Six years later, Natalie was still struggling to make ends meet. She had a beautiful daughter, Iris, and a dog that loved to be underfoot. Her mother had died 5 years ago. Iris always wanted to be a princess, and Natalie wished she could tell her she really was one! But Salah had made it clear that the whole experience never happened. Iman didn’t even know he had a child. And Natalie didn’t know Salah had lied to her when he made is sound like Iman had wanted her to leave.
Now that Iman’s uncle had died, he was urged to marry so the people’s morale would rise. He hadn’t wanted to, but looked on the list provided for someone who would not expect romance. Now he was stuck in France waiting for another plane they diverted when his had a mechanical failure. His thoughts turned to Natalie and how hurt he had been when she left without a goodbye, thank you, or even condolences on his father’s death. As he boarded the diverted plane, he heard shouting between one of his people and the flight attendant who had not eaten in 16 hours and who said they were not stocked for surprise VIP guests. She sounded so much like Natalie – and he was shocked when she stepped out of the plane! There was fury on her face! At her plane being delayed, or at him? He needed answers on why she had left as she had, and why she would be angry with him now? This time, he was not letting her walk away like before! But what about Sheikh Fadel’s daughter, the woman he was supposed to marry?
This author is excellent at building up the story line with descriptive details and introducing the reader to the characters in a way that makes them real and believable. It takes no time at all to show the reader that the fussy Prince is actually an intelligent, charming, caring man who is aware of everything around him and what must be done. Natalie too is a caring person, close to her mom and trying to take care of her. The reader’s emotions are definitely tapped in this book as something good and positive is twisted and hidden so that neither party knows the good thing they lost or why. Can they open up and express their pain? Can they find the truth in what happened to them? And could they then make a life with each other, and make a little girl the princess she always wanted to be?
What started as wild fun affair became more when she walked away with his daughter, unknown to him his uncle is working to deceive him. Will these two people who shared so much together be reunited? Or will someone he trusts keep them a part for good?

Don’t you hate when family intervenes in your life because they think they know what’s best for you but not caring about your happiness? I do, very much. I’m glad Iman and Natalie found each other again. It took Natalie some time to trust him again but when she did, it was explosive. Not to mention, they were utterly hot together. I only wish we had an epilogue but hopefully we get to see them again.

WOW! What a story. Could just not put the story away until it was finished. I wished that the story was longer! But… lets be happy with what there is, there are two more stories in this series, I can´t wait to read them and hope they will be equally good. This story has a good storyline, great characters and how everything is portraid is just smashing. I really loved reading this one and can´t do any less than give it four stars, they were just almost full five… Actually it should get the fabulous five!

I am loving this series. This is about Sheikh Iman and Natalie. The beginning of the story is a hoot, the banter between the prince and the flight attendant is to die for. The other characters such as Shekinah Taslima, Gordon, Georgia, Iris and her crazy dragon dog Beetle made this a wonderful story. Natalie meets the Prince on his flight back from America to his country, only to have the plane go down due to mechanical issues. As everyone gets out Natalie is unable to and bleeding, the Prince tries to help her and commands his guards to go seek out help leaving him alone with her as the vehicle they found only sits six. While help arrives, they are force to spend the night together in an abandoned hangar due to a sand storm. When they are finally rescued, he is flown home to find that his father, the King has passed away, but Natalie is forced to leave by the Prince’s uncle, without him knowing. Well six years later, they meet again and the story takes off. I have to say I love that the Prince who is now King is very protective of her even though he doesn’t understand why she left without saying goodbye. There is a twist to this story which makes it truly loving. I am guessing but the next books in this series must be about the King’s brothers Bahir and Riyad.

Another well written book by Leslie North who once again brings an interesting story with likable characters and a believable story line. She does a great job building the story and pulling you in with all the drama and intrigue and brings the story to life with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. The supporting characters help to bring the story around. I loved and highly recommend this book.

North brings the heartache to a haunting romance. Iman and Natalie ended before they ever had a chance to begin. Years later, when fate offers up a second chance, will the secrets that haunt them, ruin their new beginning? The Sheikh’s Surprise Heir tempts with romance, intrigues with mystery and makes sure to leave readers craving more.
