Emily Baker is in a heap of trouble. Her beloved horse farm is struggling financially, and she’s just found out her late father sold her favorite horse to a sheikh from a country she’s never heard of. The buyer, Zaman Abdul-Rahman is sexy as all get-out, the sort of man who makes a fling with a sheikh seem like a good idea. But Emily isn’t looking for romance, and certainly not with the … overbearing alpha male who shows up to take away her beloved and pregnant horse, Riah. Emily refuses to let him until Zaman makes her a generous offer: he’s taking Riah, but he’ll also buy another horse and bring Emily to Qadir for six months to train it for an important race. Despite her hesitation, Emily knows the influx of cash will be enough to save the farm. Before she knows it, she’s traveling to the tiny kingdom and being seduced, not only by this beautiful foreign land but by Zaman, who’s just too gorgeous to resist.
Zaman isn’t the sort of man to fall for a woman, especially one with such a fierce streak of independence. But he can’t help being wildly attracted to the beautiful American, and he secretly admires her strength and intelligence. Emily will only be in Qadir for six months, so what’s the problem with giving into their searing passion for a short fling? After all, he’s an expert at not growing too attached to anyone. This time, though, things are different. Emily is different. Maddeningly hard-headed. Thoroughly lovely. And…pregnant with his child.
At the news, Zaman’s world shifts dramatically. His protective instincts kick into high gear—and end up pushing Emily away. It soon becomes clear, though, that the only race he wants to win is the one for Emily’s heart…

Leslie North has given us another great story. This is the 3rd book of the Qadir Sheikhs.
Leslie North yet again delivered another brilliant read with the third and final instalment of the Qadir Sheikhs. The Sheikhs Stubborn Employee will keep you entertained from the first words till the last. It´s romantic and everything we love from the great Leslie North.
The Sheikh is in the race to win her heart….and he will not lose when he finds out about the bonus prize
The Sheikh’s Stubborn Employee is the third book in the Qadir Sheikhs series and is the story of Emily Baker and Sheikh Zaman Abdul-Rahman. I really loved this story as it is not only a sexy as heck romp through the desert with a hot Alpha and a woman who matches him, but it also has horses as the backdrop to their story. Emily may be working for Zaman for a whole lot of money to save the horse farm she grew up on but he does not own her, no matter how he tries.
This is another wonderful book by Leslie North and a lovely way to end the Qadir Sheikhs series.
Zaman is in the US to pick up the horse he bought only the woman with the horse has no idea her now deceased father sold her horse, the horse she was going to use to reestablish their business. In addition the horse is with foal, a foal she was counting on being a great horse.
Salman strikes up a deal to keep the horse he bought but also buy another horse that he can use in his upcoming race. For Emily it means she has to go home with Zaman and prepare the horse for the race. Salman and Emily are attracted to each other. Can Zaman win the race but will he lose Emily? Or will they lose their hearts to each other.

An enjoyable well written faced paced shorter story. This engaging storyline kept me interested from start to finish. With some push and pull giving it exciting then a few surprises thrown in. The characters are realistic and well developed with undeniable attraction. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC.
The storyline was wonderfully written and the characters were so well developed that as I turned each and every page Emily and Zaman pulled me right into their journey as it effortlessly unfolded!
Third and last of this series. As with all Leslie North books, this one is a fast easy read with a side of steam. The cover and title need a revamp, but the story is, as always, enjoyable and fun. Add this to your list. A good beach read.
Emily Baker is struggling financially and is troubled to learn that the Sheik of Qadir, Zaman Abdul-Rahman has bought her favorite horse. When he makes her a deal she can’t pass it up. Nothing can happen. RIGHT⁉ Can this Alpha Sheik and this fierce American woman find a way to a happy ending?

I love these types of stories by this author she creates such vivid backdrops that it allows the reader to escape and fully divulge themselves in the story being told I also throughly enjoy the amount of angst that is always given with the authors books and this one lived up to the pattern

Zamon agreed to take another horse and made Emily agree to come and train the horse for him. Zamon bet his brother on a horse race against each other and its a big bet that he doesn’t want to lose. Emily worries that her attraction to Zamon is going to be a problem between them. When things heat up between them they both agree that they don’t want anything permanent but that all changes when Zamon learns that Emily is carrying their child. Will Emily give Zamon a chance at her heart? What will happen to her ranch?

The Sheikhs’ Stubborn Employee is the last book in the Qadir Sheikhs series and it does not disappoint.
Emily is running a farm in Kentucky while trying to sort out all the deals her father made before he passed. Zaman had made one those deals and came to collect the horse he paid for.
Emily is a great trainer and a wonderful teacher to those working at the palace, she is strong and will not back down. Now only if Zaman can understand that he can get what he wants if they can be a team.
Thus is a great series to enjoy over a quite day.

This is the last book in Leslie North’s Qadir Sheikhs series. It is the story of Emily Baker, a horse trainer and owner of the Baker Horse Farm, and Sheikh Zaman, who has purchased Emily’s favorite horse without her knowledge from her deceased father. Conflict occurs between them at their first meeting until he agrees to buy another horse, but, Emily must agree to train the horse for six months in his country. Their attraction grows until they develop a relationship which leads to an unplanned pregnancy. I recommend this well written book with its amazing characters and a great plot with an independent woman and steamy romance.

Really liked this story that much I ended up reading in one go. When Emily met Zaman in the stables she couldn’t stop thinking of how hot he was but when he told her he was there to collect the horse he had bought from her dad she was devestated. Riah was her horse & her dad had no right to sell her but he had died a couple of months before leaving her & her sister Charlotte struggling to pay off his debts. Since Riah was pregnant & couldn’t race he agreed to pay them for their other race horse Maj & but Emily had to go to Qadir to train him & once the foal had been born she could take it back home with her, reluctantly she agreed & they flew to Qadir immediately. At the Palace neither of them could stay away from each other their sexual chemistry was off the charts but after each time they told themselves she was just there to work & she started avoid him which upset him, but then whilst she was in the stables she collapsed. She was shocked to find she was pregnant but he was so excited he couldn’t help telling his family which made Emily angry as she wasn’t sure what she was going to do about the baby yet & was sure then that she was going back home. It took him thinking she had left to realise that he loved her & didn’t want her to leave but he had to do something before it was too late & I was so hoping that they would admit to each other how they actually felt.

A great ending the Sheikhs of Qadir series.
We hadnt really met Zaman in the first 2 books. He always seemed so reserved.
I guess it took a fiery american from Kentucky to bring out the life in him.
I loved Emilys fire. Her passion for her work.
This was a great read and I would recommend.
Happy reading!

I started reading and couldn’t put the book down. I love sheikh stories! Emily can’t believe her dad has ruined everything behind their back. Charlotte and Emily didn’t realize until it was too late that their dad had dementia. He sold most of their horses and even Emily’s favorite. Now they have to pickup the pieces and try to save what they can. Along comes Sheikh Zaman who wants his prized horse, which of course is Emily’s. Loved the story and the HEA.
Emily Baker and her sister are trying to save their financially struggling horse farm from deals that their father made while suffering from dementia before he passed away. When Sheikh Zaman Abdul Rahman shows up on the farm, Emily learns that her father had sold her favorite horse, Riah, to the sexy foreigner. Emily refuses to hand her beloved, pregnant horse over to Zaman. Zaman offers to take Riah and buy another horse, Maj, that Emily will come to Qadir to train for 6 months for an very important race. Once Riah has her foal, Emily can return to her farm with the foal. Zaman and Emily are attracted to each other and give into their attraction immediately. The chemistry between Zaman and Emily is scorching hot! Zaman is a man who demands and doesn’t ask, and Emily is very headstrong and independent. Zaman finds himself butting heads with Emily constantly. What happens when Zaman learns that Emily is pregnant? How will Emily react when Zaman becomes overprotective? What happens when a fling turns into something more? Can Zaman change his ways, or will he lose Emily forever? I loved The Sheikh’s Stubborn Employee by Leslie North. The Sheikh’s Stubborn Employee has great characters, laughs, misunderstandings, and hot chemistry. I would definitely recommend getting The Sheikh’s Stubborn Employee and the other books in the Qadir Sheikhs series by Leslie North.
