To Matek, a fierce and hardened warrior, love is a weakness. Since childhood, he’s been trained to be tough, fearless, and calculating. His life as a security specialist has no room for softness, and his heart certainly has no room for the sexy Nina Frank, his cousin’s nanny. But when she tells him she’s pregnant with his baby, his protective instincts go into overdrive, and his whole being … suddenly feels soft and exposed. He doesn’t like all this feeling stuff, but for some reason, his heart won’t listen to reason.
For Nina, finding herself pregnant was shocking enough. But discovering Matek is a prince is even worse. She thought he was just a security specialist and a distant cousin of her employer. Now, however, everyone is welcoming her into the royal family. There’s just one problem—Nina doesn’t want to be part of the royals. To her, their lives are suffocating and Matek’s obsession with security makes her feel like a prisoner. She longs for a normal, happy life with a man who adores her, and will give her the chance to create her own little family. Matek promises to be none of those things. Worse, Nina realizes she loves him. But she can’t help but wonder if he’ll ever allow his heart to see what he’s secretly been longing for all along…

Avery North has done another great job weaving a really enjoyable read. Malek and Nina’s story is really fun to watch unfold. You see Sheikh Matek, who doesn’t see a love as a strength. When Nina unexpectedly finds herself pregnant and also finding the shocking news that Malek is actually a prince, it is not good news to her, especially as her dislike of the idea of being part of the royal family. As much as she wants to have a family of her own, she must see if she can have that wish with Malek.

Sparks are always present between Nina and Matek. Matek was trained from a very young age to take security very seriously. He sees love as a weakness; however, he is extremely protective of Nina. A little surprise and Matek needing to return home changes the dynamics of their relationship. Nina’s love for Matek opens his eyes to what he has missed over the years and to right family relationships. Not only does Nina help heal Matek with his family, he opens his eyes to what is really important, Nina. The chemistry between Matek and Nina is off the charts. They know how to take care of each other in and out of the bedroom. Don’t miss their spark.
Why does everything have to be earned? Malek and Nina already established themselves as absolutely likeable people from the previous stories. So, it’s nice to hear their adventure. Malek was the Security Specialist for his cousins, the royal family of Hamari. His Grandfather took his security training seriously and isolated him from the rest of his family, so he had no emotional connection. He always felt like an outsider. Nina knew Kishon since high school. She came from money and chose to watch other peoples’ children. Nina was the nanny for Chakir and Hannah. They had been dating for a few months when Nina announced at dinner over Sushi that she was pregnant. Malek instantly went into analysis mode. First thing out of his mouth, was he only had 2 suitcases. Absolutely, LoL! His country, Damarah was not ‘home’ to him. Even though he had many siblings, he never felt part of his family. Nina and Malek had heavy family baggage. Malek has to return to his country for business. Does Nina want a life with Malek on his terms? How does Malek’s family in Hamari feel about Nina? Can Malek put down his security personna? Nicely done! Great characters. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
First, you should probably read the other two books first. It’s not necessary per se, but it might things more enjoyable. However, this wasn’t difficult to follow along. Nina and Matek’s story is an interesting love story because it almost feels like an obligation in the beginning. Matek is a Sheikh and a member of the royal family. He fails to mention that to Nina. Then the fun really begins. As you can imagine, there are some cultural differences and Nina has to learn how to get along with his family and find her footing in his life. He’s not always easy to deal with because he’s stubborn. However, there’s a genuineness to Matek when it comes to taking care of his family which is Nina and the baby.
These types of romances aren’t usually my thing, but I really did enjoy the book. Hope you will give it a chance as well.

This is the third and final book in this latest series from the very talented Leslie North like all her work it draws you in and keeps you engaged as her characters are always so multi dimensional
From a young age Matek has been trained to show no feeling after all he is the security specialist for his entire family He is drawn to the nanny of cousin and they have a passionate affair now he has been called home to his family in Damarah but that isn’t the only change in his life Ninna is pregnant with his child so he plans to marry her and take her with him to his home. Only problem is once he is there he is totally immersed in security and ignores Ninna She wants a marriage and family that care about one another and doesn’t think she will get it with Matek Can he learn to make room for Ninna in his life or will she walk away You will have to read to see
Sheikh Matek is my favorite! This is about King Kishon and Sheikh Ryan’s cousin, Sheikh Matek and Sheikh Ryan’s nanny Nina. Sheikh Matek is a prince in another country and not the next in line, but he has been away from his home for a while as he deals with security and chooses not play part of the family “business”. Nina doesn’t realize that he too is a Sheikh until he announces he is coming home to coordinate the security for his father’s birthday party. She then realizes that she doesn’t want to live that kind of life where she is not loved per say than the business that he deals with. I love Matek’s possessive and protective side when it comes to Nina, so much that I also love his sister for doing the opposite of what Matek orders. This story is a joy as it is not so much about the royalty but about a man coming to terms of what he has lost as a child and now doesn’t want to lose it with his new family.

An emotional conclusion
Nina, a royal nanny with a socialite background, and Matek, a sheikh in Damarah and security specialist, have been dating not so secretly. As the story progresses a few surprises are revealed, a chance to connect is passed up, and taking a hard look at both the past and the present could just give them the future they didn’t know they desired. Leslie North’s The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny is an emotional conclusion to her Sheikhs of Hamari series. I wouldn’t mind seeing a follow-up on their lives a few years down the road.
I received a free copy of the book from the author via Booksprout. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Nina is the nanny to Hannah and Sheikh Chakir. She has been seeing Chakir’s cousin Matek when she learns that she is pregnant and Matek is also a Sheikh. Matek has a strict need to protect Nina but at what cost.
This is a great story. I loved the characters. There wasn’t enough drama.

The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny is the last in the Sheikhs of Hamari series. Matek is cousin to the king and a security expert completing a contract in Hamari. He is from Damarah and a prince in his own right unbeknownst to Nina. Nina Franks is a nanny in the palace and she and Matek have been secretly or so they thought dating, of course Everyone knew! Nina discovers that she is pregnant and when truths come out nothing will be the same. Even though both of them came from money he a sheikh and she growing up in a mansion in America. They had plenty of money but both did not get the love they needed! Matek was especially lacking in how to show his feelings! This is a great book watching two very intense personalities find their way to each other and to love!
This was a very good read. Lots of tension and emotional turmoil for both Matek and Nina as a little unexpected surprise causes a major upheaval in their life plans. I found the story interesting and it kept me engaged. This couple had quite a bit of work to do on the way to a HEA. I liked seeing them try to find a balance between what they had anticipated and dealing with the what is right now. This is my candid, volitional review.
This is the last book in the Sheikhs of Hamari series and focuses on the cousin Matek head of their security. He is having an affair with Nina who is a nanny to his cousin’s child. Lovely characters you can really get involved with and yet another good storyline. Plenty of steam and of course a happy ending. Leslie seems to know how to put a story with feeling together to draw you in to her characters. I recommend this book and series.

Matek finally has his story and it was hot as his cousin. What started as a temporary fling became more as a surprise twist makes thing complicated for Nina as she is thrown into a world she was not expecting to be in. Drama gala or and sizzling heat level made for an entertaining and enjoyable read in this newest addition to the series that doesn’t disappoint.
There are no secrets in a palace!
Nina, the nanny to Hanna’s son, Ryan, is having a hot relationship with another palace employee, Matek, a security specialist who just happens to be a cousin to the Sheiks of Hamari. Matek is scheduled to leave to go to Damarah to install a security system in Damarah before the King’s birthday. Nina doesn’t know when she can see Matek again after he leaves; she has to tell him about their baby.
What will Nina do when she learns Matek is a Prince of Damarah? How will she fit in with his estranged family? As Matek sets up a security system in his family’s palace, Nina captures his family’s heart. Can she win Mateka’s heart too?
A satisfying Sheikh ARC read. Read the books in order. I liked this one the best of the three.
Another interesting book by Leslie North who once again brings strong characters in Nina and Malek. She pulls you in with all the emotions flowing throughout as well as the tension between them. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
Matek and Nina were oblivious to the fact his cousins and their wives knew about their relationship. Nina not only discovered she was pregnant, but Matek was also a Prince. He was due back home in Damarah for a short-term job setting up security for his father’s birthday party. Matek wasn’t thrilled about going around his family but knew he wanted her to go with him as his fiancee. They both had issues when dealing with their family.
When he was younger, his grandfather made sure his security training came above everything, including his relationship with his family. Therefore, leaving him to feel like an outsider. Meanwhile, Nina had a feeling of being overlooked by her family when she was younger. They had to learn to accept what they went through when they were younger and agreed to raise their child much better.
This story did not portray anything regarding Matek being a part of a royal family. For him to be a Prince, he didn’t have any royal duties.
There wasn’t anything surprising or unusual about this story. It was an okay read. I read this book willingly via Booksprout, and this review is my honest opinion.
Sheikh Matek is a security specialist who sees love as a weakness. He has been trained to be rough and hard. He and Nina Frank have had a relationship since she worked at his location as a nanny. But now his assignment is over and he must return to Damarah. By this time, Nina has realized she is pregnant and she also finds out that Matek is a prince! He takes her with him. But Nina doesn’t want to be part of the royal family. She finds that kind of lifestyle suffocating and Matek’s obsession with security and protection is overwhelming her. All she wants is a man to love her and live a happy life with her. But she doesn’t think Matek is that man. Will she leave him, thinking he can’t be what she needs? Can he get past whatever has made him so closed off that she can’t see the man inside? Will they try to work things out?
I love this author’s stories. There is always so much more to them than what the reader initially sees on the surface. The characters are well-developed so that the reader can become invested in their success, wherever that may take them. Once again, communication is often the tool that could resolve many issues but is infrequently used. Grab your copy and see how the two of them work out their issues to find a HEA before it’s too late.
Good read about a nanny who finds herself facing motherhood and other challenges. I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
