Sheikh Amad has always gone with his gut, which is why his ventures abroad have multiplied his tribe’s wealth and business connections. But with his 30th birthday approaching—and with expectations that he be married by then—he’s got to go home soon…That means leaving his life in Las Vegas, and Vanessa, the sexy waitress he’s falling for, behind.Vanessa Hammerman has had to work for everything … everything she’s ever had, left by every man from her father on up. Sheikh Amad has been fun, but she’s not thinking of a long-term commitment with a Middle Eastern prince. She’d rather keep it fun…until the pregnancy test comes back positive. Now she’s out on the biggest limb of her life: Will this man run from her, too? Or will he be the one to stay?
It seems like fate when Vanessa tells Amad he’s going to be a father, and his marriage proposal is instantaneous. It’s the perfect solution for fulfilling his duty while at the same time satisfying his heart. But when he brings her home to his tribe, he realizes his independent, Western bride might not work so well in the traditional structure of the Middle East.
Vanessa has put everything on the line for this: her heart, her career, and her life. So when she refuses to fall in line with Amad’s expectations, they begin to doubt if they can make it work. But if they take the chance, love could become the biggest win of their lives.

The Sheikh’s Instant Family is the second book in Leslie North’s sheikh series. Ahmad is the second brother who discovers that there is an old law that states the sheikhs must marry by age 30. Ahmad has been involved with Vanessa for several months when she announces that she is pregnant. Ahmad finds the pregnancy a perfect solution for solving his dilemma. He and Vanessa marry in Vegas and then return to Ahmad’s homeland. It is quite a shock for Vanessa to fit into the tribal way of life especially when she discovers the Ahmad is old school. He does not want a wife who works and this brings on problems with there relationship. Watching two strong like minded personalities trying to work together was interesting! Cani wait to read and watch the youngest sheikh “fall in love”
Will Amad accept Vanessa’s role in his tribe’s expanding business ventures
Leslie is my #1 author and her sheik books are the best! Vanessa and Sheikh Amad have their fun, without commitment until Vanessa becomes pregnant. Vanessa worries over telling Amad about her pregnancy, so is surprised when Amad proposes on the spot. Will Amad’s traditional view on how Vanessa should fit in with his tribe destroy their marriage? You have to read to find out and will love how Vanessa steps into her new role as Amad’s wife!
Sometimes just rolling with life without forethought or planning can lead to trouble. Lots of trouble. Although there can be benefits, you may need to wade through the muck first. Vanessa and Amad really don’t know much about each other before they rush into marriage. And being from two diverse cultures leads to problems of its own. Interesting to see whether these two can work it out or will they go their separate ways.

I love Leslie’s book, this is no exception. This is about Sheikh Amad and Vanessa. The story starts off in a little rushed, Vanessa is at some club waiting for her cranberry drink when the waitress comes over to tell her that her boyfriend is waiting for her on the dance floor. She goes to him and they start dancing, well they go back to sit and drink up when she tells him that she is expecting and the story takes off from there. She was thinking he was going to bolt like every man she has known, but surprise he doesn’t. He is thrilled and as they are in Vegas, the logical thing to do is get married. She then learns that he is a Sheikh….
Sheikh Amad is thrilled that Vanessa is expecting, but his idea of a wife and mother of his child is much different than that of reality. As with his brother Sheikh Fatim, he too must marry before the age of 30th, but he wasn’t actually looking for someone, Vanessa just seemed to be someone that he has been dating for the past three months. He decides to take her back home to meet everyone and here is where he realizes where women stand in their country.
The story doesn’t show his machismo per say until closer to the end, which she starts to pack up because she refuses to be a woman that is at anyone’s beacon call. Could Sheikh Amad turn things around and accept a woman running her own business or will Vanessa choose to leave back to the states and raise her child on her own? It was a cute story, I expected to see more of the idiotic thinking of a “man’s world”, but overall it keep me intrigued.

I liked this book and the story it told. I thought that Vanessa was a great character. Spunky, strong and genuine, she was appealing and easy to connect with. As far as Amad goes, I thought he was OK. I was not always a fan of his attitude and expectations in regards to Vanessa. Still, it was an enjoyable read even if this was not my favorite hero.
So Amad finds out right at the beginning of the story that Vanessa is pregnant and he is actually happy and excited. I like that there wasn’t some big angst about it. Of course, Vanessa doesn’t know one of the reasons why he jumped so quickly at the instant family trip. But once they’re in his home country everything changes. They start to get to know each other better and they start thinking they may not have that much in common after all. But when love is involved, you have no choice. There were times when I got upset at their lack of communication but glad they figured it out.

This was a fun, fast story, with not real deep but good main characters. I liked both Vanessa and Amad and the jokes that they shared between them. They were cute and funny.
Amad was the businessman who loved being in Las Vegas and even when he returned home was still in non-traditional suits. He was fun loving and out-going. So, he’s one progressive Sheikh right? Well, he is until something happens to point out that he has more pride in traditional roles between men and women. Oh, oh. This going to be a problem that they didn’t see coming. Especially for Vanessa who thought she was getting a solid, fun loving equal. A teammate, someone to work together with to build a life with. Of course, she is also putting it all on the line for him, even though she doesn’t really believe in fairy tale endings.
There are fairly good secondary characters although the story doesn’t get super deep with them.
As you would expect there is sex between Amed and Vanessa, both before and after they got married.
There is a H.E.A. with a welcome Epilogue.

I really tried to just skim the first sex scene because I really didn’t care for it, but it just went on for pages. I hated that. And then they kept happening. It was just too much. Real disappointed with this one. I really liked what the storyline was and what it could have been, but it was just drowned out by the sex.

This story about the middle brother of the Safar Sheikh brothers is quite good. How macho macho some can be…. the 180 turn the sheikh makes is, however, a bit unbelievable but that is what fiction is for!!! Writing something that sounds good but is really unbelievable. In this case the story is simply said good and it pulls it all off. Making it into a story worthy of four stars.

The second book in the series brings Amad and Vanessa’s story. The author does a great job developing the story and brings strong characters and shows how people and their cultures from different world’s need to blend and conform to make a relationship work. She paints her scenes perfectly and brings out the emotions and all the feels between them. It’s an interesting romance, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed and would recommend reading.

Enchanting Love Story, Book 2.
Leslie North has such a way with Love stories. The storyline in this book is set in Amatbah where we pick up the royal family’s middle son, Amad. He has been living the good life in Vegas dating the beautiful Vanessa. She is currently a waitress but had worked in the boutique fashion industry. Vanessa reveals to Amad she’s pregnant and he reacts joyously then wants to immediately get married. They do then fly to Amatbah as Vanessa is learning just who Amad is and his wealth.
There’s certainly a lot of marital adjustments that need to be made especially for the husband. Plus Amad has seen gender roles changing while he’s been away but he’s stuck with traditional roles. Of course this comes to a head when Vanessa is successfully helping in securing a fashion design account for the tribe and he reacts negatively and ends up staying in a guest bedroom.
Let’s hope he can set his male ego aside and see what a great partnership he can have.
This was a typical love story showing how two people come together in love, a conflict arises that causes them to part, then actions are taken that brings them back together. However it’s how the story is told that makes the difference. Because of that, I definitely am recommending this book for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

This is the second book in this series. Each book of standalone. Amad, like his older brother, needs to marry by his 30th birthday. When Vanessa, a Las Vegas waitress he sees when he is in town, treks him she is pregnant, his marriage dilemma is solved.
Amad is old fashioned when it comes to how he expects a wife to act.
Enjoy this story about a man learning to let go of his pride and the bumps along the way.

This is the second book in The Safar Sheikhs series, it can be read as standalone story but I recommend reading in order as we come across the other brothers and the family business.
This is fast-paced and quick to read, the storyline is interesting and even though I wanted to smack Amad a couple of times with his attitude, it just made his character that much more believable. I really liked Vanessa, she is strong and incredibly likable. Loving this series.
