In Sheikh Kishon’s small kingdom, it’s tradition that older sons marry before the younger ones. Problem is, his younger brother desperately wants to get married—and marriage is the last thing Kishon desires. Lucky for him, artist Chloe Sanderson is intrigued by his offer of a marriage of convenience. He’s been flirting with the sexy American on his visits to the US for months, admiring her spunk … spunk and easy way with people. Knowing her desire to travel, he offers her a world tour if she’ll be his fake wife. To Kishon, it’s the perfect plan. Not only does his brother get to marry the woman he loves, but Kishon gets the elders off his back. He just has to make sure no one discovers he’s marrying for business, something that would put him in a bad light with the elders.
For Chloe, marrying this sexy sheikh isn’t much of a sacrifice, especially since it’s all a farce. She’ll get to see the world and paint all the beautiful sites she’s always dreamed of. Sure, actually marrying Kishon is a bit surreal, but passion-filled nights and romantic days soon make her realize that nothing is fake about her feelings for Kishon, even though his feelings are pretty clear. No love. No future. Once his brother marries, her romance with the hard-headed sheikh will be over.

This is the second book about the Sheikhs of Hamari. This is about Kishon who is the older brother and king. According to the laws of their country the younger brothers cannot marry until the older one does and so this causes a problem for Kishon’s younger brother who is desperate to marry and is already engaged. In order to get the elders off his back he decides on a fake marriage to Chloe who agrees in the hope that she can travel and paint. I loved this story and as usual we have the will they wont they question. You will have to read this and you will not be disappointed.

Some old traditions may not be as bad as you believe was a lesson the King of Hamari from the tribal council. According to there beliefs the oldest brother should marry first, and Sheikhi Kiskon did not want to marry. He felt that it was a weakness in leadership, and he would never find a woman that would see him see as the man he really was instead of the King of Hamari and all the money that goes with it. On the other hand his brother Sheikhi Chakir had met someone and was wanting to marry, but they could not get married until Sheikh Kishon married.
Sheikh Kiskon was spending a great deal of time in Washington D.C. attending diplomatic meetings. After these meetings he was spending time next door in the bar, where he met the bartender Chloe Sanderson. On his last night in the United States there was an incident in the bar where the Sheikh told a man that Chloe was his fiancee trying to defuse the situation, but it went viral. As a result, they agreed to go through with the engagement and get married so that his brother could marry.
From the beginning you knew that Kishon and Chloe had a wonderful chemistry together, but neither one was going to admit feelings for the other one. When they got to Hamari, and started dealing with the Council and his family was when I personally started to have a dislike for Sheikh Chakir and Hannah. They were so selfish and self centered. Thinking only of themselves and that they could get married, not giving a second thought to Kishon or Chloe’s feelings.
All was not lost though the ending was fantastic. You need to plan enough time when you start reading the book to read it all at one, because you will not be able to put it down.

Sheikh Kishon is not looking to get married but his younger brother desperately wants to marry his love. Tradition is that the oldest son needs to marry before the younger ones can marry. Kishon makes a deal with an artist he flirts with on trips to the U.S. She agrees to the farce so she can paint different places around the world. Chloe starts to have feelings for the Sheikh. Will they end up together or will they part ways? I have enjoyed several books by Leslie North. This one was a wonderful book from start to finish.

The Sheikhs Fake Marriage continues the saga of the Al-Shafer family. In the first book the kings brother Chakir found his true love but can’t marry until his brother the king Kishon does. Tradition again rules so Kishon will find a bride! Problem solved or is it! Kishon arranges a marriage with artist/waitress Chloe Sanderson who he met by accident and circumstances have him referring to her as his fiancé! She agrees to marry Kishon and in return will travel the world doing her art. Easy enough or is it. What happens when fake becomes real! Another great book!
Chloe’s dream has always been to paint the Eiffel Tower in person. She was saving up from her bartending job to eventually fulfill her dream. Over the past 6 months Kishon has been stopping in the bar and they have gotten to know each other. It wasn’t until one evening when a customer gets out of hand and gets handsy with Chloe. Kishon shows back up and handles the customers for her and when confronted for who he is, he says he is her fiancé, and in the meantime, she defends herself by punching one of the men, which causes her to lose her job.
With Kishon needing to marry first so that his brother can then get married, he capitalizes on the situation which gives Chloe her dream of painting. Throughout the following weeks and their marriage, Chloe tries to remember that this isn’t to last, only as long as Kishon’s brother is able to marry. She realizes she wants more, however, Kishon cannot.
When he goes to meet with the council to explain, does he realize after speaking with the elders how wrong he is about his marriage and his feelings for Chloe and has to come up with a plan to keep her with him before she leaves.

Sheikh Kishon needs a wife so that his brother Chakir can finally get married. While rescuing Chloe a bartender from unwanted advances he states that she is his fiancée and the paparazzi waste no time reporting the news. I loved this book. It has great characters and I love the insertion of Hannah and Chakir.

See me, not my crown. Kishon, really doesn’t want to get married, but his younger brother does. Tradition states, Kishon marries first! He offers Chloe Sanderson a deal for a marriage of conenience. She gets to travel the world and paint, he gets a fake wife to fool the elders. Kishon had been talking to Chloe for about 6 months. She waitressed at the Highball with her best friend, Hailey. Kishon worried about a woman loving him for himself. Chloe comes close, but since she entered into the agreement, he’s conflicted. Does Chloe really know what being a king is about? Can Kishon trust Chloe? Can they walk away after being married? How different can talking at a bar be than being married? Nice story. Best to read other story first for context. Excellent characters, story has come cute twists. Nicely done. I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book 2 in the series, and picks right up with action. The storyline is enjoyable, and easy to read. This story definitely has the required elements of a love story: true love in the making, sexy sheikh with confidence of always getting what his way, damsel in distress tied together with sizzling chemistry.

Kishon met Chloe when he was in New York on business, the bar she worked at was beside the hotel he would stay in. They got to know each other pretty good. His brother couldn’t get married until he had, so when he helped in a bad situation at the bar he asked her to help him so his brother could get married. So they got married were having a few problems it in the end everything worked out great because they fell in love!
A repeat customer of six months rescues Chloe Sanderson when a table full of drunks start sexually harassing and touching her while she is waiting on them. She takes up for herself, slugging one of the customers. As the customer, Sheikh Kishon, steps in to help with one of the drunks, Chloe is fired. However, they don’t get out of the building before the Sheikh says that Chloe is his fiance.
The press loves the brawl and the scoop. The Sheikh gets Chole to his hotel room. Before the night is over, Chole agrees to be his fake wife. His brother Sheikh Chakir Al-Shafar and Hannah Fisher cannot marry until after he, as the firstborn, marries. He will give her a divorce after his brother marries and will finance her artistic endeavors. It’s a foolproof plan, what can go wrong?

The author has given us characters we can understand. When Sheikh Kishon proposes a temporary marriage to Chloe, an American, she accepts. However, it is more difficult than they imagined it would be to live a lie.
