Ah, chaos. What would any holiday be like without it? For Sondra Wilson-Woods, who craves order but has a knack for handling disorder, pulling off a traditional Maatkare Christmas is the ultimate accomplishment. Hired to make the kingdom’s Advent season a success, despite the absence of their beloved matriarch, Sondra may have taken on more than she can handle—especially when the gorgeous heir to … the gorgeous heir to the kingdom, Robel, decides she needs his help.
But despite her best efforts, each of Sondra’s plans go awry, and not even Robel, with his meticulous preparation, seems capable of mapping out an event that will go off without a hitch. If Sondra can just get through this Christmas season successfully, she and her orphaned niece will at least have financial security. And if she can just resist the charms of an infuriating Robel, she can leave Maatkare with her heart intact.
Robel loves order and is more than happy to help out their event planner when a broken ankle leaves him palace-bound. He firmly believes if he plans well enough, nothing can detract from the traditional Maatkare Christmas season that he demands. But as each carefully scripted event goes off the rails, Robel finds himself more and more attracted to Sondra—something that was never part of the plan. It’s best to end things before it’s too late, before saying good-bye is too difficult.
Too bad Robel’s strategy forgot about protecting his heart.
When faced with the worst Christmas morning ever, Robel realizes that it’s the untraditional and unplanned moments that bring the brightest light.

The Sheikh’s Christmas Lover by Leslie North book 3 of “The Yared Sheikh’s” series
I gave this book 5 stars
This was a very Merry story about Christmas at Maatkare. Robel Yared is the eldest son, and the heir to the throne. He is a strickler for traditional celebrations, and honoring the country’s oldest aristocracy requirements of a wife for him. Now his father the Senior Sheikh hired Sondra who is an American event planner to plan their holiday season events in the absence of his wife whom used to plan all of those things. Sondra is the furthest thing from stricked traditional boring events…..to say these two clash and lock horns is an understatement. She needs this job because it will pay really well in the end. The sparks fly in between these two from the moments they first met, the chemistry is hot, but they both fight their mutual attraction as long as they can for obvious reasons they can never be together.
I loved this story! I actually even cried a little. It was all about family, love, traditions, Holiday cheer, a feisty event planner and a stubborn Sheik.
I can’t wait to go back and read the 1st and 2nd book about the other two Yared brothers.

Sondra and Robel, the eldest Yared, must bring order out a chaotic holiday celebration while finding a common path. Excellent series to the end for this family’s tales. Settle in for another Christmas tale.
Ebook from Netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
A well written short sweet Christmas story. Sondra is contracted by the sheik to plan the holiday events. They initially but heads but learn to work with each other. It is not long before passion over takes them. I truly enjoyed how they learned to work with each other as the passion and chemistry came to a boil. The characters were believable, interesting and had great chemistry. A definite add to my holiday collection.

This is Christmas with the Yared Sheikhs Book 3 in the series and it is a terrific one to finish the series with. Robol, the Crown Prince has broken an ankle and is house bound within the palace so he is more than willing to help Sondra, the go to woman for planning a spectacular Christmas within the Palace with his meticulous skills. If she can carry this off it will provide financial security for her and her orphaned little niece. But what she didn’t expect was Robol and that she’d fall for him and it seems as if he likes her just as much. Another great read by Leslie North that I found to be a great read which kept me turning page after page and enjoying every second of it. With wonderful characters who were obviously made for each other. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Definitely recommended
She has a job to do and she hopes to pull it off but then he comes along trying to help her. He has a broken ankle. He is stuck in the palace and he wants everything prefect. Things keep going wrong. Will it all work out? Can they keep it on the level? Can she get away with her heart intacted? See what will happen
Robel may be the last Yared sheikh to take the plunge, but he turned out to be my favorite by far. With The Sheikh’s Christmas Lover, North shakes up the lives of two strangers by putting them in touch with their hearts. Sometimes it takes a little disorder to finally get things right. A holiday read that fits well into any time of year.
These Sheiks have really had their hands full with their American girls. This one surprised me a bit, but to standard, he’s just as hardheaded as his brothers. I love her saying about “we plan, God laughs”. It’s so true!

When Robel decides that he is going to work with Sondra to help her with the planning and execution of the various events, can he keep his attraction to her under wraps? Does Sondra have the same attraction? Can they keep their emotions under control or will they give into this attraction.

Emotionally thrilling, sweetly charming, sexy fun and engaging holiday romantic adventure filled with lots of witty banter and undeniable passion…. really enjoyed the Sheikhs of Yared and reading all about them and their bumpy roads to forever love. Highly entertaining.
This is a lovely sweet romance in Maatkare between the event planner Sondra and the heir to the kingdom Robel. I loved the fact that Sondra is organized, meticulous, has a maternal air of authority and is loving. When her sister and brother-in-law died they left her with their three month old daughter Nessa. Sondra embraced Nessa with all the love she could give and then some. She changed her life for Nessa and was determined to be the best mother she could be. She accepted the job to organize the Pre-Christmas events and the Christmas day events. The pay would secure her and Nessa’s future. While working at the palace, Robel found her extremely attractive. He too was a planner, organized and a bit of a know it all. He insisted on working with Sondra because he found her ideas nowhere close to a traditional Maatkare Christmas. Sondra was an accomplished negotiator and was able to blend some of Robel’s ideas with hers. Being a successful professional event planner meant always plan for contingencies. This important skill saved several of the unexpected problems she encountered along the way. Robel was impressed. Unable to resist the temptation, Robel spent an explosive night with Sondra. His feelings ran deep but his commitment to his country had to come first. It was tradition that the heir marries an Maatkarean woman. He felt he had no future with Sondra so he distanced himself from her without explanation. There were many misunderstandings, hurt feelings, sad moments, regret and anguish felt by the two of them. This story is about growing up welcoming and accepting the unusual events in their lives. A wonderful story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The third book in the Christmas with the Yared Sheikhs series a well-written story. The story is about Sondra and her eight-month-old niece/ward and Robel the oldest of the Yared Sheikhs and the next in line to rule. A story that held my interest until the end. Christmas mishaps wreak havoc in this story
Leslie is one of my top 10 authors and her sheikh books are my absolute favorites! Sondra is hired as the event planner for a traditional Maatkare Christmas, but Robel, the heir to the throne sees her events as anything but traditional. Yet during their daily meetings, and mishap events something starts to happen between them. But will Robel realize in time, what he really needs for Christmas? You have to read to find out and won’t want to put the book down.
This is book 3. I actually read this one first. Sondra was brought in as an event planner to do the traditional parties. But she has one block the crown prince Robel. He likes thins in order and he believes in tradition. He has broken his ankle now he has lots of time on his hands. So he decides to oversee the parties and Sondra. Once he sees her in action, he is in awe, when things go awry. When he sees her work her magic, His attraction builds until he can no longer stay away from her. He begins to learn that changes is good. This is a heartwarming Christmas story. It put me in Christmas spirit. I love how his love for her and her niece grows. Would love to see another book when he becomes King.

Here we get to know the third sheikh brother in this family and how utterly not attractive he seems to begin with, i.e. personality wise! But little by little we get to know him better and the other leading characters in this story, of course another American lady. We get to know his expectations, sorrows – some at least, and his family. The only thing I can do I think at least is to recommend this one if you like sheikh stories to begin with and if you like romances at all then this one should be a sure bet. It is easy to read and you should be able to read it in an evening.

Robel is in crutches and is overly motivated in making the Maatkare Christmas as traditional as possible.
He craves order.
Sondra is the event planner hired to coordinate the festivities.
She too craves order but chaos seems to follow her. She also is now the guardian to her niece.
Recommend for fun, heat and drama.

Sondra Wilson-Woods an American event planner is hired by Sheikh Yared to make the kingdom’s Advent season. His oldest son, Crown Prince Robel, who is on crutches because of a accident decides to help Sondra, He wants to stay closer to traditional Maatkare Christmas as possible after seeing her plans. She doesn’t like him at the first meeting but she really needed this job for the money. She is raising her young niece. Robel is attracted to Sondra. Having a meeting everyday it doesn’t take long for them to be attracted to one another. All it takes is a “business” dinner to change attraction to action. A lot of chemistry between the two. Another Leslie North must read.
I loved every moment of this book. It was a wonderful story of love and passion. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
In this third book about the Sheikhs of Maatkare, we find the story of the eldest brother Robel. Of the three brothers, he is the sternest and most stoic and brooks no fools. Upon meeting Sondra, the event planner, there is an immediate dislike each toward the other. They try to work together and for the most part things go well. Robel’s feelings toward Sondra fluctuate, which often confuses her. In spite of the up and down emotions, the couple are able to iron things out.

Robel is the oldest of the Yared Sheikhs and next in line to rule. His younger two brothers have found their true loves in the two books previous to this one. Sondra was hired by the palace to ensure this Advent season was conducted in accordance to tradition. Her financial situation necessitated she finish it properly. And then Robel came into her life. Another great story and read!
