Single-mother Hannah Fisher is fine just the way she is. She works hard, earns an honest wage and raises her son without any support. So when Prince Sheikh Chakir decides to “rescue” her from her rather un-royal life, she can’t help but challenge his every move. Prince Sheikh Chakir can’t believe how much he enjoys spending time with Hannah as he prepares her son for royal life. If only his … If only his elders didn’t disapprove of her. For things to work out between them, he needs her to be traditional, silent and proper: not independent, opinionated or quite so sexy…

An American widow and sheikh find love despite all odds in this read. I received an ARC copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Leslie’s sheikh stories are my favorite by the author!
Leslie’s stories are about a strong independent woman and a man who benefits by having her near. What’s not to like in a one sitting story! Hannah is a single mom who struggles to make ends meet. Chakir, the deceased father’s cousin shows up on her doorstep announcing her son is a prince and should be in his homeland of Hamari. Hannah doesn’t like to be told what to do so turns Chakir’s offer down, but when forced to realize her son’s safety is more important, she accepts. The instant attraction between Chakir and Hannah stays hidden until the two practically combust. Yet when Hannah’s changing her son’s schedule to fit his needs, is brought to the attention of Chakir by the elders, their blooming behind the scenes relationship suffers. Will Chakir realize that change is for the better before losing Hannah?
The storyline was easy to follow and the characters are delightful, The story flowed well throughout right to the end. Enjoyable story to relax with.

A great single mom Cinderella type of romance read
Hannah, a harried single mom, is somewhat rescued by Chakir, a Sheikh of Hamari and cousin to her son’s father, while speaking with her landlord. As the story progresses a decision is made for her, choices seem to become even more limited, and fighting against tradition could cost more than their willing to risk. Leslie North’s The Sheikh’s American Lover is a great single mom Cinderella type of romance read. I look forward to seeing what she has in store for Kishon.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Enjoyable story. Prince Chakir’s assignment is to find his cousin Prnce Tahir’s son, Prince Ryan and Mom, Hannah and bring them back to Hamari to attend the Crowning Ceremony. He arrives to find Greg, Hannah’s landlord asking for back due rent and Hannah standing up to him. Greg wanted his 3 months’ back rent and eviction effective in 3 days. Hannah was adamant she had legal recourse until later that night, she experienced a potential threat to Ryan’s safety. Chakir has a few weeks to get Ryan up to speed to participate in teh ceremony. Can independent American Hannah submit to the Middle Eastern traditions? Will Ryan adjust? How do Hamarians adjust to the new Americans? Can Chakir get over his attraction to Hannah? Nice story. Good characters, descriptions of environment. Hoping to hear more about Kishon. Nicely done! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Nice cover art!
A story of an American girl that had a baby with an excommunicated royal of Hamri, that died in an accident. The child was then five years old, and one of the royal family shows up to take the boy and his mother back to Hamri. No one in the royal family ever knew about the child until months after his father’s death. He needed to go to Hamri for two reasons first his birth right, and second his safety. The cousin who came to get the child and his mother both had an instant attraction toward each other, which made for very interesting reading of their conflicts over the young boy’s training, and their secret meetings. Making this book a real jewel of a read.

This is the first book in the Sheikh’s of Manari story and is definitely an opposites attract story

Soon they are in Hamari wher Sheikh Chakir is a rule follower ad Hannah continually bucks the system There is a deep attraction between them but can they find a common ground

American Woman with a Prince for a son and a Prince for a Lover! This is about Sheikh Chakir and Hannah. This story is cute, you have an American woman who had an affair with a Price that was just a one night thing – ended up with a child and he agreed to help her but then dies in a car crash, well here come Prince Chakir to ask her to come back to his country so that the son of a prince is crown and introduced to the royal family. It is so funny but little Ryan is up for the challenge along with his mother. The Sheikh falls in love with Hannah but there are traditions that need to be followed and she doesn’t understand it. OMG – tell an American woman NO is not the right thing to do…. I love how Hannah tries to jump ahead of the servants that she has but they catch on quick!!! It was a great story now how is King Kishon going to find his love so that Sheikh Chakir can be happy?

A wonderful romance read that had great flow and easy to read. I loved this first book in a new series that doesn’t disappoint. Sheikh Chakir doesn’t know what hits him when he meets Hannah for the first time. What happens next made for a romantic storyline that will have you cheering for their HEA. I can’t wait for the next book in this enjoyable series.
I am a big fan of sheik romance stories. I really enjoyed reading this one. I enjoyed the storyline, as well as the chemistry, and how old world charm and traditions were interwoven in the story. Ryan’s character was well developed and typical of a five year old. I can’t to read book 2 of the series as the princes continue there journey to happy ever after.

Hannah was struggling to raise her son, Ryan. His father had helped financially, but when he died, they fell behind on the rent and faced eviction. Sheikh Chakir found out about the death and arrived at Hannah’s door, telling her he was Ryan’s cousin who, Ryan was actually a prince, and it was imperative that Ryan attend the Crowning Ceremony.
It was obvious that Hannah and Sheikh Chakir were attracted to each other. But Sheikh Chakir was a strict follower of the rules, while Hannah was stubborn and did things her own way. If neither side gives in, this would never work. Will he let the elders continue to tell him what he must do? Or can they compromise or work something out where they don’t have to abandon their growing love for each other?
Make a five year old into a Prince. Six years ago Hannah has a brief affair with Sheikh Tamir from Hamari, got pregnant, and he went back to his home country, only visiting his son a few times. But he did send some money, until he died four months ago. Now she is being evicted from her tacky rental home. Cousin to Tamir and brother to the King, Sheikh Chakir comes to take she and Ryan to Hamari so Ryan can be acknowledged as a Prince, but he has to complete a ceremony and only has weeks to learn what he needs to know. But a five year old can’t sit still for hours at a time learning, and Hannah has an uphill battle to protect her son, and let him be a kid and have fun with other children. Even fighting and defying Sheikh Chakir, who she has fallen in love with. Will he and the elders bend, or will she and Ryan live a miserable, imprisoned in the Palace life? Hannah had a one night stand with Ryan’s dad, he helped her when he could. Then he was killed when his personal items were gone through the royal family found out about his son Ryan, they sent Charik to bring Hannah and Ryan to Hamari because he was the prince. Hannah didn’t like a lot of the rules but she went along with it because she wanted to be with Charik. They fell in love and things got straightened. A great book again,!
If you like a strong woman who is able to break tradition and win the heart of a Sheikh, you must read this book. The chemistry jumps off the page and you will not want to put down this book. Steamy, sexy, spicy with some good humor. Don’t miss your chance to escape to another world, you won’t be disappointed.
Hannah is having a problem paying her rent. Greg has been coming around meanwhile she has her soon Ryan to care for now. Her check from Tahir helped her and then he died in an car accident. Chakir came up behind Hannah’s landlord and paid Hannah’s rent until the end of the year. He proceeds to tell her that Ryan is a prince so they had to go there to live In Hamari. Things became crazy when her landlord started to take pictures of her son. Chakir took them back to Hamari to protect the little prince Ryan and his mother Hannah.
