Duty. Honor. Country.Love. Romance. Passion.PaigeFor way too long, I’ve been silently and hopelessly in love with a guy who doesn’t see me as anything but a casual friend. I stood by and watched as he found a woman to love–and as she dumped him the day before their wedding. I haven’t given him even a hint about my true feelings.Until the day he asked me to be his pretend girlfriend. Now that he … day he asked me to be his pretend girlfriend. Now that he needs me, I finally have the chance I’ve been longing for–to show him how perfect we can be together.
Wyatt
My life was perfect. I was about to graduate from West Point and marry the most beautiful girl in the world all in the same day, then launch my career as a brand-new second lieutenant. When my fiancee dumped me, I thought I’d lost everything. I didn’t know how to go on.
Until the day I panicked and asked my friend to be my fake girlfriend. She saved my ass, and now I find myself looking for reasons to keep her close . . . because it turns out I don’t want to let her go.

Awwww Tawdra is quickly becoming one of my new favourite authors! I loved this story’s complex simplicity. Trying saying that 10 times fast, lol. Childhood friends blossom into more in this third military romance in the Career Soldier West Point Tour of Duty series. Will there be a fourth?!

This is the third book in this little series and each and every one of them has been so freaking great!! They are all lightly interconnected but each story is very individualistic! This is all about unrequited love, friends-to-lovers and not realizing what is right in front of you until you almost mess it up to the point that it may be gone. The emotion that was invoked while reading the story of Paige and Wyatt made this a definite tearjerker and was something that I felt deep down to my core!! It is time to go see if I can find any tissue at the store since I have used them all in reading these three books!

Wyatt’s fiancee dumps him on their wedding day. He’s drunk and upset, and makes a move on Paige. She’s always been in love with her best friend, but doesn’t want to be with him like this. Fast forward a few months… There’s a misunderstanding at Wyatt’s new job, and now they think that Paige is his girlfriend/soon-to-be-fiancee. She agrees to play along, until it’s time for her to leave for her new job. I really enjoyed this book, a friends-to-lovers story that’s sweet and steamy. They have great chemistry, even if it takes practically forever for Wyatt to realize it.

Best friends. Fake relationship. Military hero. I’m like a cat in a whole garden full of catnip right now. This story is just so stinking sweet. It combines so many of my very favorite themes into one perfect confection. It’s definitely got the “awe” factor of a Hallmark movie. And when combined with the author’s sassy spice, you’ve got a book that left me laughing, sighing, and fighting back a tear or two. This book was such an easy read. I got to the end of Paige and Wyatt’s story and I wasn’t anywhere close to being ready to let them go yet. I don’t want it to be over already.

Every time I read a book in this series it becomes my new favourite and with this latest addition that hasn’t changed I absolutely loved Paige and Wyatt’s story a true case of not recognising what is right under your nose.
Paige as always loved her best friend Wyatt she has pined after him all through school and even though he is now at West Point she still feels the same but she knows she has to get over it after all he is about to marry Kimberley on graduating from the academy. . . That is until the unthinkable happens and she walks away the day before the wedding standing Wyatt up. He holds it together for his graduation but then ties one on in Paige’s company that night she has to send him on his way before they cross a line that they cannot return from. She finally decide that she has to start living her life and forgetting her crush on Wyatt Then he turns up wanting to be her new housemate and to pretend to his friends that he is her boyfriend but what happens when pretend starts to feel real will they finally admit what they can be to one another and move on to the HEA they deserve together.
This is a West Point Tour of Duty book. This is a best friends turn more story for Paige and Wyatt. The easiest way to make the transition is to be in a fake relationship. Wyatt needs a girlfriend and so he asks his best friend Paige, she agrees. Paige has loved Wyatt as more than a friend for awhile but she was not ready to share her feelings. However, Wyatt almost getting married may have changed things up. A great steamy, military story that flows smoothly with a little twist here and there to keep you turning this pages. Enjoy!

This is a short, sweet best friends to lovers romance between Paige and Wyatt. She has loved Wyatt for years but was always just a friend to him. Until he needs a fake relationship which quickly turns real. The author does a great job developing the story and moving it quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow from friends to so much more. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and is an enjoyable read.

Paige is shocked to find her best friend and love of her life back at West Point.
Paige was shocked to see Wyatt In the Thayer Hotel where she works. The last time they had been here he had just been dumped on the morning of his graduation from West Point and wedding and they had looked around the wreckage of his dreams as the reception had been due to be held there then they got drunk in the honeymoon suite. He had left and was due to go into officer training so she wonder why he was back at West Point. Wyatt has been asked to to take a posting on the coaching team of the Army’s Black Knights Football team and seeing his best friend again is a bonus for him.

What would you do if you had to help your best friend plan his wedding to someone who can’t stand you? What would you do if said girl dumped your best friend the day they were supposed to get married? What do you do if best friend that you have been in love with since 16 kissed you after his fiancee left him and then thanked you for allowing him to kiss you? These are all questions Paige has to answer in regards to her best friend Wyatt before chapter 4 of the book. Wyatt and Paige have known each other since elementary school. Paige tries to get over Wyatt but Wyatt needs Paige’s help. Because, Paige loves wyatt, she helps him even if her heart will probably get broken in the end. Wyatt does something that gets him in trouble with Paige. Good book with good characters. An emotional rollercoaster of emotions that will have you on the edge of your seat.

Paige loves Wyatt but he has know idea he’s about to get married until the bride to be calls it off Paige is always there for him but one kiss and suddenly Paige isn’t talking to Wyatt anymore. Wyatt I messed up and kissed my best friend but now after several months I’m back at West Point helping my old team win another one and maybe I can fix things with page until I sorta let everyone think she’s my girlfriend only she agrees to the lie now we’re pretending and living together I can’t pretend were just friends anymore. These two were cute he doesn’t realize he loves her and Paige is afraid to tell him but some much needed advice and some much needed liquid courage and everything falls into place with a miss understanding or too the next day. Fun romantic read without allot of drama will definitely read more by this Author in the future.
I was allowed to receive and advance copy of this book via Booksprout and this is my honest review.
Book three in the Career Soldier West Point Tour of Duty series, a well written story of best friends Lieutenant Wyatt Henderson and Paige Mulaney. They have so much to get through the big one being that she secretly loves him and has for years and he does not have a clue. I enjoyed seeing this story come together.
A wonderful fake fiance romance. Well developed characters with definite chemistry between them. What starts out as fake doesn’t always stay fake especially when the chemistry between them is real. A great entertaining read you’ll be glad you have on your reading list.

First time reading this author and I was thoroughly impressed how everything was described, all the backstory given to the characters. I enjoyed the relationship between Paige and Wyatt, both so afraid to lose their friendship because they both wanted more, but scared to take that leap. This was a fun storyline and also one of my favorites of best friends make the best lovers.

I thought Sawyer’s story was my favorite, but I was wrong!! Wyatt and Paige’s story is the best! Who can’t relate to having unrequited feelings for someone? You remember the angst of uncertainty about the love you felt, and the heartache thinking your feelings weren’t reciprocated. Well, you’re going to feel that way again, but never fear, there’s more to Paige’s and Wyatt’s story. The emotions are strong. and you just know their friendship is destined to be so much more. They are a fun couple, and you’ll enjoy reading every page of this romantic tale, even when things become rocky, you won’t want to put the book down. This has been the most engaging and entertaining series, and this story is the best of the lot!!!
Wyatt and Paige has been Friends since they were in second grade. Paige has been in over with Wyatt but could never tell him so she just stayed his best friend. Wyatt was due to get married by the bride called it off which made Paige happy but Wyatt upset. Years later Wyatt needs a date and asks Paige to go, only for everyone to assume Paige is his wife. Instead of telling the truth he asks Paige to play along. She does but things go from pretend to real. Once they sleep together, they confess their.love.

Paige and Wyatt have been best friends since they were kids. Paige has been in love with Wyatt since she was a teenager. Wyatt is completely oblivious to how Paige feels, thinking they are just best friends. This story has a predictable story line but it is done well and you can’t help but feel all the emotion that Paige is feeling. Wyatt is slow but he does eventually realise the he and Paige are meant to be together and the ending is just beautiful. I loved getting to catch up with the other couples from this series.
Terrific, sweet friends-to-lovers story!
Paige has been pining for her best friend since high school, but Wyatt couldn’t see past his infatuation with with the manipulative Kimberly until she dumped him the day before their wedding. He spends what would have been his wedding night commiserating with Paige, who puts a stop to his drunken advances before something happens they’d both regret.
The story then picks up a couple months later, when Wyatt has his head clear and Paige is determined to move beyond her crush on him. But when he needs a place to live and he finds out she needs a roommate, AND his coworkers and boss think he’s involved with her anyway, Wyatt decides to repair their friendship and save face at work by moving in and pretending they’re in a relationship.
I loved how Paige really made him work for it. Wyatt has more than a few things to figure out, and I really enjoyed watching him sort through all his seemingly conflicting emotions. This was a shorter novella, but just long enough to pack in all the emotional tension and angst that defines the friends-to-lovers trope.
Lark and Addison are there to support Paige, and it was nice to get updates on their current relationships and work statuses. Seeing all three couples get solid HEAs makes this entire series well worth reading. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
