It’s been a while since I read this book, but I remember loving the tragic yet interesting plot. I think I might even read it again. It’s a great Christian fiction book.
Hurt jerker
A lesson in pushing through major tragedy, conquering unforgiveness and trusting in God
One of the best books I have ever read. I have a better understanding about the Holy Trinity and my relationship with God.
A must read for every Christian. From a tragic loss of little girl to harrowing experiences to redemption, it moves you. I’ve read it more than once.
I loved it
What a read. Better than the movie in my opinion. Took me awhile to reconcile with God being a woman I must admit. Really never did but looked past that to the story and Gods precious love for us.
A joy to read.
This book is so easy to read. I felt as if I inhaled it once I got past the first few pages.
It helped me to really see how God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit show love, compassion, and forgiveness.
Excellently written work if fiction.
I love this book & have read and reread. Thought provoking, inspirational, and keeps your attention. The first part is hard to get through (I almost quit reading), but it’s well worth it to read to the end!
Truly eye opening for those that want a refreshing way to look at things. It’s not a bible nor is it a Bible Teacher’s handbook. It is a heart wrenching fiction perspective of how God can and will go beyond the box of religion in order to reach the hopeless. If you’re looking for something to argue point for point this original fiction masterpiece is not it. This is a book geared to reach the individuals beyond hurting and literally numb from catastrophic events and pain. If you’re hurting or just want a closer relationship with God this is the book for you.
Held my attention
I think the author of this book captures the essence of the Christian faith. I believe the author puts the idea of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit as the Three in One in words most can understand.
A little strange
I Love this book!! It took a second read to fully appreciate the characters. If you look up the author and research why he choose the characters as he did in the book it will help you understand the story better.
I read this book in a plane to California to visit my sick mother. It answered a question that was struggling with for some time regarding the responsibility of a son when it comes to faith. It certainly had an impact on my life in this regard. The story of this book deals with some of the toughest questions we have as a believers and leaves the readers eventually at the shore of hope. Hope for restoration and ultimate reunion. If you like the movie, you will love reading the book.
So intensely captivating! This book should be in everyone’s reading list. The concepts, the characters, the content and the delivery all combine to create an incredible winner! Don’t miss out on this story!
This book will get you thinking about what God is really like.
Loved this book!
This is a one-of-a-kind book. Thought-provoking and real.
