The first day she was sitting by herself — I felt sorry for her. After all, it couldn’t be easy wrangling all the testosterone at Wingmen Inc as one of the only female office managers. The second day she literally counted her carrots during break — she had seven by the way, right along with seven sips of her drink in between taking seven tiny little bites of the first carrot. Now I’m not one to …
Now I’m not one to brag, or maybe I am, but math and science fascinate me, so do problems. And this woman screamed puzzle from the way she ducked her head every time anyone looked at her, to the way she counted food and tapped the table when she didn’t think anyone was watching.
I’d like to think I took pity on her that day when, in fact, she was the one that took pity on me and asked if I needed a friend. She assumed I had a learning disability since I’d been staring so damn hard.
Things would have ended there, except, my bosses need someone to test the new Wingmen App and since I was the only single guy on the floor — I was nominated, right along with the only single woman, the same one who thinks I need to use my fingers to count.
Apparently rumors of my sexcapades throughout college reached even her ears, because she wants nothing to do with me, which makes beta testing a bitch. I have thirty days to win her over and prove myself to my bosses.
One thing’s for certain, I’m going to have to buy a hell of a lot of carrots.

Leave the best for last, eh? Finn’s story is here and I am absolutely in love with it! I think it’s my favorite out of the series. Plus it’s another round of meddling from the guys to keep things fresh.
I have to say that I loved what RVD has been doing with this series, I know in many of the reads it’s usually the guy messing up a bit, but with the past three, it’s the leading ladies that kind of mess things up. I’ll admit that the heroes aren’t exactly perfectly, but it’s a nice chance because let’s be real, we mess things up too.
From the hilarious double-date nightmares that brought on this bond of sort, only added to fuel to their ever-growing chemistry.
And Finn has a secret and my goodness, I just fell more in love with the man after learning every little thing about him.
I’m truly going to miss this series and the Pleasure Ponies, besides their hilarious friendship and brotherhood, they truly care for one another. It’s the best kind of friendship that I love reading about in a story.
I can’t recommend this series enough, just more books that I love by RVD.

Rachel Van Dyken
What can I say, this book is chock-full of excitement. You have got forbidden Romance, witty banter, and so much more excitement. It drags you in from the very beginning, and keeps you held captive till the very end. These two people will keep you absolutely enthralled! This is definitely one you do not want to miss. I dare to say probably one of my favorite books to date from Miss Rachel Van Dyken!
Final book to the Bro Code series, all standalone but if read you will love them all. This is Finn and Jillian’s story, Finn is a loner, working all the time and protecting his sister had him lacking of social life. Jillian a young woman that isn’t size 0, that also works at Wingmen, Inc. They both realize there is more going on with them than anyone could’ve realized. This book is the perfect one to read. I suggest reading all of them, starting with Wingman,Inc. series. They are all amazing and I am sure you will love them too. The Matchmaker’s Playbook is the first of them all and you can also watch the amazing movie based on the book at Passionflix.
An Abso-bloody-lutely Fabulous Read!!
The Set-Up is a fast paced, sexy, fun and quick read that got kept me hooked tight from the start. The storyline is beautifully well-written, well-developed, and with characters that feel alive.
All in all, this is a cute, sweet, witty, fun, touching, sazzy, entertaining and captivating story that you don’t want to miss, and I highly recommend. An Abso-bloody-lutely Fabulous Read!!
Fans of sizzling, and flirty romance will have an enjoyable ride with this original story. and most entertaining series I have read in a while.
I’m a little late on my ARC review of The Setup but the book landed on my kindle Christmas Day and it was a bit much those couple of days for me because, reasons. But here I am now. Better late than never … THIS.FRIKKIN.BOOK.SERIES.AUTHOR.
#FunFact: The reason I even got sucked into this series was this book. THREE carrots. THREE sips of juice. Who is not reading this adorkableness?! So THIS is the story I thought would be the best but joke is on me because they were ALL fantabulous! Really. All of them!
I don’t want to pick a favorite couple, but Finn and Jillian are made it real hard. What a great couple these two were to read. From their banter to their ridiculously flirty sexy to just everything. That’s it. That’s all there is to say. This entire story was entertaining from beginning to end and the characters were endearing and very relatable.
I don’t know why I haven’t devoured every single word Rachel Van Dyken has ever written but I’m going to try and rectify that as soon as possible!
Overall Rating – .5
This is the last book in the series (can be read as a standalone) and it’s Finn’s turn for his story.
Finn is now working at Wingman Inc and is tasked to do some app testing on compatibility and to set up dates through the app to test this, and he’s to do it alongside the Office Manager, Jillian.
I really liked Finn and Jillian’s story as well as their characters. Finn was confident, sexy and knew what he wanted. Jillian was sassy, wasn’t afraid to tell him no and any woman who wears Spanx gets my approval!
I loved the chemistry with this pair from the beginning. They were fun and funny together. Finn’s Aunt Nadine was a hoot and I loved her matchmaking to help Finn along, especially after his secret was revealed.
Like the other books, this was a quick read and Slater and Leo from the previous books only added to the fun pace of the book and overall, Finn might just be my favourite.

The Setup is the fourth book in this standalone series and featured our last single boy from Pleasure Ponies, Finn.
I love, love the flirty, sensual banter between our main characters and how they couldn’t get enough of each other despite it being forbidden at their work. I specially love the meddling of the other guys here. OMG! Slater and Leo cracks me up all the time with their nosiness and obvious meddling. Let’s not forget Aunt Nadine. I adore her! I wish I have a cool and quirky AF aunt like her. Aside from these, I love the family and friendship goals they have going on in this series. You could feel the love, loyalty and security that these people will have your back all the time.
I loved it and I’m hoping to see these characters in any future books of the author. Another must read!
I couldn’t wait for Finn to get his story and I can’t stop the happiness radiating from my soul. He is everything and more – protective, sweet, sexyAF, sometimes overbearing, loyal, adorable and loving. Who wouldn’t want to fall for a man that thinks this, —“Forget having a new job. This would be my new job kissing her.”— I mean come on! Jillian is beautiful, funny, sensitive and not afraid to call Finn out or speak her mind. I love that all the Wingman have their moments in this book and come together for their last man standing. You need to read this book for princess, the group text, the pink backpack, the abs and Aunt Nadine alone. Everyone should read Finn’s text with Aunt Nadine for the JA and no I’m not telling you, so grab your copy today.
Rachel set up my heart to fall head over heels in love and now I want a Finn of my very own!!!!
Tracey, Life Reads With Friends
Finn is the last man standing. He has moved out of the college dorm and is moving up to a VP postion at Wingman HQ. I adored Finn in the previous books and couldn’t wait to get to his story. Finn is a Titus and comes from wealth. Due to dysfunctional parents Finn has had to raise his sister, Tatum who we met in Avoiding Temptation. But Finn has a secret that not Knox, Leo or Slater even knew about it and its about to be revealed. I loved Finn the most. He sets his sights on Jillian and doesn’t back down in his pursuit of her. His character exudes all the charm and sexiness we have come to love of him the previous books.
Jillian is the Office Manager and Assistant to the VP’s. Jillian had college classes with Finn and has always had a thing for him but nevver felt she was ‘seen’ by Finn. Jillian lacks confidence in herself and needs a lot of convincing by Finn to give them a chance as she is afraid of loosing her job.
Aunt Nadine returns in this book and she is truly a favorite! Her crazy spunky matchmaking personality shines and I adored her appearances so much.
While I enjoyed this book, sadly it wasn’t my favorite of the Bro Code books. The ending was abrupt and didn’t feel finished at all but regardless still recommend reading it.
NOTE: I received an ARC from the author via Social Butterfly PR in exchange on an honest review.
I just love Finn. I have loved all of these books but I really loved Finn and Jillian. Rachel Van Dyken is one if the best rom com writers I have read. I love how I burst out laughing while reading this series. She is my go to author no matter the genre she writes.
The last book in the Series and there were was no disappointment. In true Rachel Van Dyken style she gave us book we could laugh with and feel the emotions of.
Finn’s story is a long time in coming and the chemistry between him and Jillian is completely off the charts.
The book and Series is so worth the read a definite 5 stars.
4.5 stars – such a fun series to read!
This one was another winner. Slater may have remained #1, but Finn is definitely second in my Bro Code book! He and Jillian are such a sweet story and Finn proves to be quite the all around catch!!
“When a woman’s beautiful, she should be told, over and over again until even she believes it.” Sign me up!
So Finn and Jillian are testing out the new dating app for Wingmen Inc. This leads to many funny moments and they don’t understand why the app is setting them up with subpar dates.
Well – part of the problem is they are the right ones for each other. It just takes a while for them to see it (takes one MUCH longer than the other).
This is funny, witty, sexy times, and just an all around enjoyable read.
I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.
The Setup by Rachel Van Dyken is book four in the A Bro Code Standalone Series. This is the story of Finn and Jillian. I have read the previous books which added to my enjoyment of this one but I did think you could make this a standalone book if you wish to do so.
This was a fun to funny read about people with their corks in life who are different but yet not. Finn and Jillian are set to test the new dating app for the company they are at which brings them working together more. Both are attracted to each other but Jillian is up to resisting the pull but that can’t last long.
Enjoyed their story
Fun, witty, sweet but wonderfully touching; The Setup was a fab read that left me all warm and fuzzy. I’ve just loved reading about these multi faceted Wingmen who have been so much more than you can imagine and Finn was no exception. The highlight for me though is the relationship between the ‘bros’ and I dare anyone not to swoon at these men. Another enjoyable read!
Finn Titus is the only member of the Pleasure Ponies who’s single—everyone else is either married or engaged! He and Wingman Inc. office manager, Jillian Hillstone, are tasked with testing their new Couple Creator App for glitches before they launch it. Through the app, they’ll be building their ideal boyfriend/girlfriend, let it calculate their perfect matches, and meet them in person; but then they realize they’re more interested in dating each other than going on double dates together…
Like the other books in this series, The Setup is a light, quick, and sexy read. I’m sad this series is ending, but I’m glad it’s ending on a good note.
The Setup is a contemporary workplace romantic comedy written in dual first-person POV. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
The Setup is the conclusion to Rachel Van Dyken’s Bro Code series, which is a spinoff of her Wingmen, Inc. series. These are all standalone titles but if you love romantic comedy books with fun and funny characters, witty and sarcastic banter, and happily ever afters, I highly recommend starting with The Matchmaker’s Playbook and reading all of the books in the series and spinoff which are all available in Kindle Unlimited.
The Setup is Finn and Jillian’s story. Both now graduated from UW, Finn and Jillian find themselves as the two lone single people working at the top of Wingmen, Inc. So who better to test out the new matchmaking app than these two? Thirty days never seemed so long….
I loved these two characters! Finn is hot, but he’s a caretaker at heart. He’s practically raised and protected his younger sister which didn’t offer him many opportunities for a social life for himself. From the outside, it looked very different, thanks to his role as one of the Pleasure Ponies, though. But like most of us, the persona we project to the world may not quite be the true picture of who and what we really are. Suffice it to say, Finn’s got secrets that not even his best friends know. And Jillian is simply fabulous. She’s a young lady who may not be comfortable with her body in the beginning, but I loved watching how she began to realize that just because she isn’t a size 0, she’s definitely got it going on. She’s also not afraid to put Finn in his place. But she’s the only one that sees the real man behind the persona.
NICUnurse’s Rating: Word of warning: Do NOT try to read this book at night while your significant other is trying to sleep! There are so many laugh out loud moments! This book is like the perfect Christmas present for fans of the Bro Code series and really, Wingmen, Inc.too. It’s like Rachel wrapped up these guys in this pretty little package just for us. Fun times, fun dialogue, and funny as all get out dating scenes make The Setup a great read to round out the decade!
I give The Setup by Rachel Van Dyken 4.5 out of 5 stars!
The Setup is a standalone book in the Bro Code series. Finn Titus is the last remaining member of the Pleasure Ponies that is single and working at Wingman Inc. Jillian Hillstone is their Office Manager and also single. The company has a new dating app getting ready to launch. Being the only two single people in the office means that they become partners in testing the app. Going out on double dates and spending one-on-one time with each other. Their attraction to each other becomes the elephant in the room.
With appearances from all of the men and significant others that we have come to love throughout the series, we’re also treated to the antics of Aunt Nadine Titus. I absolutely fell in love with Jillian’s character. She was the strong female character that we have to come to love and enjoy in all of Rachel Van Dyken’s books. I
This was another great and amazing read in this series!
I love the Bro Code series and I honestly think The Setup is my favorite out of all of the books! This story was fun, flirty, sexy and a fast-paced quick read that I enjoyed. The story is told in dual first-person perspectives which I really enjoy!
Finn and Jillian are working on the new Couple Creator App which will require them to go on dates with other people but go together. Little did they both know that this would set them up for an epic workplace romance! I enjoyed seeing all the “Pleasure Ponies” again throughout the story as it made for some great laughs!
The Setup and the entire Bro Code series was truly enjoyable! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a funny, flirty and sexy read!
Oh, Finn. Just when you think that the next book just can’t be as good as the previous, Rachel Van Dyken proves you wrong. Finn and Jillian’s book is my favorite of the Bro Code Series and I’ll shout it as loud as I need to if it’ll get you to pick up this sweet and funny romance.
I mean, what could happen when you have the last name of Titus? RVD gives us lust, love, and pure romance within the pages of The Setup. The way Finn uses his hands and his words will have you swooning from the first page to the last.
The dialogue between these two honest and loveable characters is endearing and I haven’t loved a couple so much since The Dare (RVD). The bonus is that all the Pleasure Ponies are still making their presence known, along with Ian and Lex.
The Setup is a wonderfully constructed romantic comedy that will have you laughing and swooning from start to finish. The whole Bro Code Series is a must-read, but The Setup (and Finn) is the best of the bunch.
Ahhh finally the last of the Pleasure Ponies is here! What a book it is too! Finn’s story was worth waiting for. I loved Jillian and him together and their story is definitely one to read.
