The first day she was sitting by herself — I felt sorry for her. After all, it couldn’t be easy wrangling all the testosterone at Wingmen Inc as one of the only female office managers. The second day she literally counted her carrots during break — she had seven by the way, right along with seven sips of her drink in between taking seven tiny little bites of the first carrot. Now I’m not one to …
Now I’m not one to brag, or maybe I am, but math and science fascinate me, so do problems. And this woman screamed puzzle from the way she ducked her head every time anyone looked at her, to the way she counted food and tapped the table when she didn’t think anyone was watching.
I’d like to think I took pity on her that day when, in fact, she was the one that took pity on me and asked if I needed a friend. She assumed I had a learning disability since I’d been staring so damn hard.
Things would have ended there, except, my bosses need someone to test the new Wingmen App and since I was the only single guy on the floor — I was nominated, right along with the only single woman, the same one who thinks I need to use my fingers to count.
Apparently rumors of my sexcapades throughout college reached even her ears, because she wants nothing to do with me, which makes beta testing a bitch. I have thirty days to win her over and prove myself to my bosses.
One thing’s for certain, I’m going to have to buy a hell of a lot of carrots.

I loved Finn and Jillian. This is book four of a stand-alone series but easily one of my favorites. It was a quick read and the perfect book to pull you in and make you forget about the real world for a bit. I will be reading this book again and recommending it to all.
5 stars
Oh what a way to end the series with the Finn Titus!
I was so excited for his book and you did not disappoint, I loved it all as much as I hated the fact that this was the end of the series. But it was perfect. Finn and Jillian were funny and just…sigh, perfect.
Thank you again Rachel for another great read. I think you may have outdone yourself with this one….can’t wait for whatever you bring out next.
Hilarious, sexy fun! The banter between Finn and Jillian was outrageously funny as these two danced around each other at work and at play. I loved this fantastically funny series that was at times campy but always entertaining with outstanding characters. The Ponies are all out of college with Finn Titus the last to arrive at the Wingmen offices and getting ready to launch a new app. As Finn and Jillian are slated to work together finalizing the app testing it’s apparent the attraction is off the charts between these two. The trust fund Titus stud has a secret that is shocking and a little unbelievable. I mean he’s a Pleasure Pony with a big pedigree, killer looks and smarts. Jillian thinks it’s all too much for her as a working class, non-model type of beauty but she smart and had a fanny that Finn can’t get enough of. If this is the end of the series it went out with a bang. I loved all the guys together with their crazy antics and good-natured barbs making work fun. And eccentric Aunt Nadine with her brand of love was a delight. A quick, easy read that’s light fun, sexy romance and so enjoyable. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
Ooooh we finally get Finn Titus’s story in the Bro Code Standalones Series. He is the last of the Pleasure Ponies to be single and he is the only choice to test out the new Wingman’s Inc Couple Creator App along with the only single female office managers at the company, Jillian.
Julian is a puzzle to him and someone that intrigues him at the same time. Finn tends to be closed minded of the opposite sex when it comes to work. He encounters and helps many people that he tends to not realized they are at first glance. Jillian having to work with Finn has put her in a situation where she torn when it comes to her feelings and how to act around her boss.
Double Dates for the next 30 days. Ummm yes and no?!?!? Their chemistry is growing; however, they have to figure out the app and its kinks before it launches. Little that they know that there is more to this pairing then expected when all is revealed. To throw in we have Grandma Nadine to do her magic and it will have you LOL. Gotta love Grandma Nadine. She is such a riot!
The Pleasure Ponies once again are there for their fellow brother. They see something before it happens and put their sneaky skills to work. I adore their relationship with one another. I cannot believe this may be the last of this series. It has brought a new feel of rom com to life.
In this final installment of the Bro Code books, it’s time for Finn’s HEA. This series surprised me and with each new book I continued to find yet another original story packed with so much heart and passion that RVD just blew me away.
In The Setup, we see the last of the Wingmen Inc. boys meet the one in the most of unexpected ways. She catches his attention as she chews away at carrots at Wingmen Inc. and he is drawn to her from their first glance. She is determined and a very driven career woman. It was fun seeing their story unfold as they are thrown together at the office and while things begin to heat up, we see the side of Finn we really didn’t know even existed. Rachel was able to surprise me a few times in this one. He is dedicated to his work but captivated by Jillian. The two combined, combustable!
I am sad to see the end of this series, but it was an amazing adventure to go on with each new Standalone and I can’t wait for whatever RVD has in store for us next.
I love the wingmen books. Finn is delicious, and Jillian has a great sense of humour. I loved how Rachel brings so many other characters from past books into this one. And I love love love “aunt” Nadine. RIP grandma Nadine
okay yep, I knew Finn’s story would be my favorite! I’m kind of obsessed with him. its fine! Jillian was great as well and I loved the progression of their story. I’m so glad Ian and Lex had more part in this book as well. It made me miss them so much and now I’m going to go back and reread their books haha!
The set up is just as hilarious as the other bro code books and once again, RVD will have you in tears with laughter! this is the kind of book that I like to pick up whenever I’m feeling down and need a pick me up because theyre truly so light hearted and always have a happily ever after. and don’t we really all need more of that in our lives?
also, sidenote: FINNS SECRET?!!! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING! although it really just made me fall in love with him even more. ugh. read these books. seriously. all of them. you won’t regret it!
I absolutely love this book! You could feel the sexual tension coming off the pages!!! I couldn’t read fast enough! Finn’s story was so amazing. I am going to miss him.
Rachel Van Dyken saved the best bro for last! what a story! I loved it, it was simply perfection.
The Setup was another fantastic read by Rachel Van Dyken. I absolutely love the world Rachel has created in her Bro code series and this is no different. The characters are infectious. They make you laugh and feel every emotion possible. The guys at Wingman Inc. Are back in full force and have two unsuspecting victims in their sites.
The combustible chemistry between Finn and Jillan was off the charts. I loved their push and pull. After meeting Finn in the previous books, I was glad to finally have Finn’s story. The best part is that Finn is a Titus – therefore there was more of Aunt Nadine. I absolutely love her as a character. Her scheming ways. We definitely need more of her in the future as well.
It made my heart soar to see all the interconnecting characters from my favorite books come into one. Rachel Van Dyken, please keep writing amazing books like this in the future. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us next!
The time for the final pleasure pony to fall has arrived and of course he is going to be set up by his friends and co-workers at Matchmakers Inc.
I have loved this series from Rachel Van Dyken and it was brilliant to see some familiar and much loved faces from her previous Matchmakers books plus Grandma Nadine.
RVD had me in fits with Jillian, I loved this girl and her experiences with Spanx were near and dear to my heart. I think if anyone says that they haven’t experienced something like this whulst wearing Spanx they are lying. It is a clever but evil design.
For me as much I loved Leo and Slaters stories this was my favourite and she certainly saved the best for last. Finn’s secret certainly knocked me for six but as always RVD delivered it in a brilliantly humorous and embarrassing way thanks to Nadine. It actually made a lovely change.
The chemistry between Finn and Jillian is off the charts hot no mater how much they try to ignore it and keep things professional. Hard to do when you have the best matchmakers playing you with Nadine’s help.
Im sad to say goodbye to this series.
This book was so much fun to read.
Finn and Jillian’s banter was fun to read and had me laughing out loud many times. The interference of the other “Pleasure Ponies” in this book keep it very interesting.
Finn was not looking for a relationship. His goal was to get right to work at headquarters after graduation.
Jillian was looking to move up in her job at headquarters and not looking for a relationship.
What happens when they are assigned to work together? Will they be able to overcome everything in their path?
What a great book! RVD has a special way to tell a story! This book is just so fun and sexy! The build up is just so much fun to follow along with. Finn and Jillian are the cutest and the most clueless pair out there. Just the best!!
Ok, so this what not what I was expecting, but that is not a bad thing. This book was fun, cute and just downright good!
I love the down to earth, quirky personality of Jillian. She does not shy away from anything or anyone. She holds her own with Finn and everyone around her.
Finn, well what can you say. He’s all man with all the attributes. But there is always that one person that can stop you in your tracks.
Finn and Jillian were so much fun. I love the humor and the quirkiness of them together. I love the family members and the connection between them all.
This was truly a joyous and emotional read!
I think that this author made a fan out of me with this series. Every single one I loved from start to finish. And this one was no different.
This book was refreshing and had lots of humorous moments that will have you LOL. Finn and Jillian were a perfect match.
This one had everything, from romance, steamy moments, sweetness, sassiness, funny and just enough angst and suspense to keep you guessing on what would happen next.
I think that maybe Finn and Jillian were my favorite couple out of the whole bunch. This is definitely a series that you will not want to miss, especially if you are a fan of this author
Finally we have Finn’s story and boy oh boy Rachel Van Dyken surely surprised us all. In college he was a legend bringing women to their knees but here we have a different Finn. He’s been working for years towards this opportunity at Wingmen Inc and now that he’s here it comes with surprises he never expected. Now Jillian is so right for him in a way he never thought that would enter his life. The chemistry between them is funny, light and man when they let go it is explosive between them. Seeing Slater, Ian, Lex, Knox and Leo in this book feels like a family of merry men and naughtiness all around them. Finn has alot of decisions to make and yet the main person he wants forever is making him work for it, something a Titus never has to do. Loved it and really hope there is more in the Bro Code series love coming to the Wingmen Inc.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
This. This was the ending that I had hoped for. And while I wish the story had been longer so it didn’t have that rushed feeling that novellas often do (especially where the romance aspect is concerned), there was enough tension in this one to make it not seem like “insta-love”.
I knew from the way Finn acted in the last book that he was going to be getting his comeuppance in this one, and boy did he. Not only is Jillian just the kind of feisty woman that he needs, but she is also probably the first woman in history to ever tell him no. It was fascinating watching these two characters interact with each other (even if there were times when I had trouble following their logic). The addition of the others from this series (and featuring the OG Wingmen Ian and Lex) were full of laugh out loud moments. The kind that speaks to true friendship and the desire to see your friends as happy as you are.
ALSO – GRANDMA NADINE. Need I say more? You know where she is involved hilarity is going to ensure – and I was not disappointed.
My one gripe with this story is the way it ended. I have questions that I need answers to! I feel like an epilogue would have finished this series nicely, but the way the author did choose to end this one was cute all the same. I would read more from this author!
DISCLAIMER: I received a complimentary copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review. This has not affected my review in any way. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own.
Finn and Jillian the perfect end to a fun series. All the characters make an appearance to send us off with a bang. Oh Aunt Nadine. Anyway I wish this was a full novel and not just a novella. It seemed a bit rushed at times, but had all the funny banter and love you could want and expect from Rachel. Great job.
Ok never mind the cover of the book. I usually judge a book by its cover. The actual book. This one pictures a hot woman with a man that looks like he’s in his 50s. So not a hit cover but the book and story itself… 5 material!
These two are my favourite couple in the series. I’ve liked Finn from the beginning. He had a certain something. A little boyish charm. I found him funny right from the first time I met him in the other books.
Jillian was so loveable too! Loved her character. So cute so loving but also smart. She didn’t want to throw away her dreams for a future career just because of a man. Very career oriented but also caught in the crosshairs of finding a love and not jeopardize her career.
Loved this series a lot. They can be read separately. You won’t be missing much if you don’t read the other books because each book has its own two main characters and they do mention the other guys and their significant others enough to understand.
The author’s writing is easy to understand. You’ll blow through this book fast because of the easiness to it and the way the story flows too. Sucks you right in. It’s steamy enough and funny too. It has the whole package!!
