Fun read
Couldn’t put it down!
When I finished this book i was so enamored of the characters that I had read the other 2 books about the dashing widows right on it’s heels.
Good read
Loved the plot in this history.
Ended too abruptly. Trying too hard to lead you into the next one
A very enjoyable read!
I loved the story and characters. The way the main characters came to be together was intriguing.
Had potential, and the writing was well done, but the ending was so abrupt and unexpected, it basically ruined the entire story for me!
Nice little quick read with a happy ending.
This is the first of 6 novellas dealing with widows finding true love. In this story, the widow did not have a happy first marriage so when she decides to rejoin society after her mourning period, she is not looking for another husband. Lord Stone, however, meets her and soon decides that he wants to marry her. She wants to find a lover and asks him to give her advice on the available men. Needless to say, he tries very hard to discourage him. They eventually agree that they are in love, but at the end of the novella she has not agreed to marry him.
Easy read making it a change of pace from current events
Not the best of the series but still a good read. I like that shortness of Anna Campbell’s stories, perfect for an afternoon or evening read. Concise, well-written storytellling.
Great read
what are men without women telling what they should do
I lovend this story Aboutaleb two people who had both a twisted perception of love. Through a struggle found real love at last with each other.
Book one in a delightful series.
Good book
Great read but it ended abruptly. Definitely feel their story was not complete.
Enjoyed series.
