The author gets you involved in the story right away as if you were there. A definite page turner!
I really liked the storyline. My only problem with the book was the profanity. Although it was only occasional, I found it offensive. Why do people think this is necessary? If not for the profanity I would have given it five stars.
The Secrets You Keep will have you thinking, “liar, liar pants on fire” more times than I can count. The protagonist Bryn Harper, is a self-help author who survives a car crash only to be plagued by nightmares and no memory of what caused the crash. The story begins with Bryn’s nightmares which unravel slowly along with incidents that occur over time involving her husband. The psychological twists involve homicides that are eased into the story. This is good psychological suspense which will give you many secrets and lies to keep your mind active while reading. A superbly written book which ties up in the end.
