From USA Today bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a deliciously delightful romantic comedy centered in New York City about falling in love with your best friend’s sister. How do you date your best friend’s sister? Easy. Step one: Pretend you want her to set you up with someone else. That will bring the two of you closer.Step two: Go on date with lots of random women, proceed to get stupid drunk … women, proceed to get stupid drunk and talk about your best friend’s sister, thus gaining the courage to finally make a move.
Step three: Randomly show up at her apartment and confess your love. Women love that, right?
It all seemed so simple. A fool-proof three step process that will guarantee the love of you life to fall madly in love with you.
At least–that’s what I thought was going to happen. But my attempts to win over Julia Westin backfired in more ways than I can count. The thing about Julia? She’s smart–really smart–and her wicked gaze cuts through all the charm I’ve tried slinging her way. She’s not interested in games, my gifts, or my stories. She might want me too; but she’s not giving in that easy…

Meghan is the queen of rom coms in my humble opinion and this book will not only make you laugh like anything but it’s steamy and romantic too!
I’m always grinning to get new words from Meghan Quinn, and this one’s like LOL Romcom Sunshine!
Meghan Quinn is such a pro when it comes to writing the quintessential romantic comedy, that you can absolutely never go wrong with one of her books! Witty and fun, grab this one today!
This was the first book I’ve read from this author and it definitely will not be the last! I fell in love with Bram and Julia’s so much I never wanted to stop reading. Bram was hilarious, sweet and head over heels in love with Julia that he would do anything for her. Julia was quirky, shy and so oblivious to Bram’s crush. It was a breath of fresh air to read a book where the make character was in love and the pursuer and that storyline in itself had me enamored with this book!
You can never go wrong with a Meghan Quinn book! I adore her writing and her characters! #oneclick this so hard!
4.5 STARS!
The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister by Meghan Quinn was an angsty, sweet, charming and at times frustrating slow burn rom-com!
Bram Scott was at times a bit obnoxious while others the perfect freaking gentleman. It was those moments where he opened his heart that had me swooning. As the title entails, he’s head over heels in love with Julia—his best friend’s sister
As for Julia, she was sexy and kind of nerdy, but she frustrated me to no end. I didn’t particularly like her not following her heart nor acting on her feelings for Bram. She was closed off at times yet she was completely obvious.
This book was steamy and at times had me pulling my hair, but I loved the moments of shared intimacy between Bram and Julia so much! Meghan Quinn once again proves she is the queen of romantic comedy!
Having already been a fan of Meghan Quinn’s sense of humor and writing style, I wanted to see what she had in store for her audience in the new year. Truth be told, I am glad that started the year off with this friends-to-lovers read.
Bram Scott has always been the life of the party, the man that other men went to and that woman wanted. Unfortunately, he is not taken seriously by his own family especially since his older brother is seen as the golden boy and he is an overgrown frat boy. Luckily, from the moment he met Rath Westin, he found a true brother, a family. Bram finally sheds that frat boy image to be a successful real estate mogul in NYC, but he is missing something or someONE in his life. Even though he could easily have any woman, he only has eyes for Julia Westin, Rath’s little sister. And he is going to enlist her dating agency’s “help” in order to find him love… or the courage to tell Jules that he loves her.
Julia (Jules) is the socially awkward little sister of Rath Westin and she doesn’t mind him being the center of attention. She is the epitome of the modern day wallflower with her tube socks, thick glasses, and high IQ. Even though she owns her own dating agency, she has no luck in the dating world herself. Even though she is more than happy to assist her brother’s BFF, Bram, with his dating woods, she feels the dynamic of their relationship slowly change and Bram makes small gestures toward her. His sudden behavior is somewhat confusing to Jules because she doesn’t know whether or not to take him seriously because he has been like family to her for years.
In reading this story, I feel in love with not only Bram, Jules, and Rath, but also Jules’s BFF, Clarissa, and Bram’s other friend, Roark. It takes true talent to get your supporting characters to actually shine even if they are just supposed to be background music, but I want to know if Meghan Quinn is going to make a story for at least Roark McCool.

Yes, please!
Can we just say that Bram Scott is one of the swooniest hero’s out there. I loved his attitude and I loved how he wanted Julia. He never wavered from his goal. I loved their back and forth and found it very entertaining that Julia was trying so hard to hate Bram. This was a great book and as always i would highly recommend it to any romance reader.
I always know that when I pick up a book by Meghan Quinn that I’m guaranteed some rib busting laughs and tons of swoon-worthy moments. This story did not disappoint! It was sweet and charming and the characters were so endearing and relatable that it was impossible to avoid loving it.
In all honesty, there was really only one character I couldn’t stand – Julia. She was entirely too hard to stomach and I had to grit my teeth just to get through her chapters. She reminded me of an ostrich with its head in the sand. How can you go through life, in this day and age, and not have a clue to reality? Your entire love life hinges on a color? I get that it was her life’s work, but c’mon! If I had a dude giving me his ALL the way this one did, I would not be throwing up road blocks and creating obstacles.
That being said, all four stars go to Bram. He was absolutely incredible. The epitome of what a hero should be. Intelligent, successful, attractive, hilarious, down to Earth, humble, kind, sensitive, loyal, honorable, sweet, considerate, patient, understanding, etc. When a man like this tells you that YOU are everything he could ever want, that YOU are his one, that YOU own his heart, YOU have won the freaking lottery. Know this.
So yeah, MQ created a story that was very easy to get behind and a hero that I wish was real. I’m not a man stealer, but if he really existed and he happened to be with someone, I’d stoop to some levels that I didn’t know I was capable of
Bram is the absolute perfect man!
He’s perfect in his imperfections. He is an amazing friend. Kind, caring, and attentive. He may be a bit juvenile and occasionally an ass but he is sheer perfection.
Gorgeous and everything you ever wanted in a man trying to woo his dream girl- perfect.
Patient, attentive, and giving-perfect.
A listener, a giver, and encouraging – perfect.
Believes in endless orgasms for her and enough foreplay that your body will be jealous before the actual “act”- perfect.
Like I said, Bram is perfection.
I love Meghan Quinn’s books because they make me smile and give me those book feels. Romantic comedy with heart? Umm yes please! You’re going to devour this book! Happy reading!

Don’t miss this!
I’m sure that Mrs Meghan Quinn done quite good present for her fans…. publishing this book is great begging of new reading year!
The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister is great story to hang out when You tired after Christmas brake Why ? Because when You finally come back to normal life, there’s waiting THIS book, with THIS kind of story, and THIS kind of humor ! It makes life only better from the very first sight. New Mrs Quinn’s book is definetly from “won’t put it down” kind. Since first pages this book sucked me in compeletely, I’ve enjoyed every moment which I spent with this author and her characters.
Bram and Julia together are great company to keep for great time. They both are so different like they could only be. Where Julia is serious, there Bram is all fun… however life could show how much people who don’t match can be perfect for each other! I liked the most in whole story that it haven’t been quick romance, but slow burn…. I like this kind of tension in my favorite books the most. From page to page I could feel how much Bram and Julia’s relationship grown in someting more, plus…. it’s a little forbbiden love story too, right ???? Loving best friend’s sister could give some big drama, with delicious steamy and funny times.
Highly recomended book for rom-com and good book lovers.
I have read a couple of books by this author now and this is definitely one of my favourites. This slow burn romance did start off a little slow for me but picked up fairly quickly. I read it quite quickly. It made me laugh and made me feel for the characters. At times left me a tiny bit frustrated, But not for long.
Bram has pretty much wanted to be with his best mates sister since he met her in college. Something has pulled him to her. Bram tend to joke a lot and sometimes acts like a school boy when around Julia. He does redeem himself along the way though.
Julia is so straight laced. She is serious, but incredibly successful in her job. She runs a dating service with a high success rate and does not believe that Bram wants to join her program in order to settle down. She is smart, she knows him better than most!
The story is a built up, the first part is a little slow but once it gets into the story it was hard to put down. The story was a really enjoyable read. Bram can be such a sweet guy and shows this through the story. He is really caring towards Julia and he has always looked out for her. Rath is Julia’s brother but him and Bram have a extremely close relationship…and when I say extremely close I mean extremely! I am interested to see if Rath and Roark get a story each, I would love to see how Love goes for them!
It’s no secret that I’m a huge Meghan Quinn fan, nor is it a secret that one of my favorite tropes is the big brother’s best friend scenario. Couple this storyline with one of my favorite authors, and I couldn’t wait to start this story. Oh how I loved this book! Quinn’s sense of humor is legendary, but in 2018, she unleashed her emotional, angsty author side, and I couldn’t get enough of those stories. The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister was an excellent choice for Quinn to demonstrate her ability to blend these two writing styles, and she took full advantage of this opportunity.
Packed with all the feels, this charming, heart-tugging love story featured an incredibly patient hero who knew exactly what, or more precisely, who, he wanted, and the quirky, nerdy sister of his best friend who he’d been crushing on for over a decade. The lengths that Bram went to in order to win Julia’s heart were impressive and positively swoon-worthy. This couple had such fantastic chemistry, their witty back-and-forth bantering was entertaining and amusing, and their whole opposites attract vibe just worked for me in a big way. But what I loved the most about this couple was the way that Bram just knew Julia and how her mind worked and gave her what she needed.
On the heels of a year full of amazing books, Meghan Quinn charges into 2019 with a sweet and sexy story that I absolutely adored. She never fails to bring the heart, the heat and the humor to her stories, and The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister is a wonderful example of this. I devoured this book in a day, and I did not want to put it down. Five smooches from me for The Secret to Dating Your Best Friend’s Sister by Meghan Quinn!

Ok. Question first?
Who else winced while reading steps one through three??
Anyone? Anyone?
Cause I sure as shit did. Because even I knew that the pitfalls could be varied and many and bring about all kinds of issues, but even as I was wincing I was already needing to see how everything played out with Bram and Julia and I wasn’t disappointed in anyway. I winced, I laughed, I rolled my eyes and I swooned as these two danced around and towards each other ~ slowly, Oh, so, slowly ~ and was kind of unhappy that there were no more words to read because I really wanted to spend more time with both of them and find out what else they’d be getting up to.
I loved Julia and Bram. Julia is that compelling mix of shy, thoughtful sassy and snarky with a good dose of an extremely observant wallflower (most of the time). She finds solace in facts and logic, which sometimes blind her to the most obvious things and yet, she isn’t removed from the world or emotions, she just holds them at arm’s length. Bram is cocky and yet he owns it to such an extent that after awhile it comes off as endearing more than arrogant ~ though there are times where that line is very, very fine. He’s charming and intelligent and has an extremely golden heart that he shares with only those he calls his own.
Julia and Bram’s journey to their HEA was a whole lot of slow burn/opposites attract goodness. Part of the fun was that while they were friends, they still didn’t KNOW each other, so watching as they truly got to know each other was a lot of fun. And though it was all kinds of slow burn, the chemistry between them was intense, so when things finally stopped being slow, it was all kinds of smexy goodness and just showed that they were a perfect match in every way. As for the roadblock in their journey, as far as I’m concerned they were both right and wrong. I saw both sides of the issue and couldn’t blame either for their feelings. Thankfully, they both figure things out and loved where they ended up.
I’m a #fangirl of the author’s, and while I do love her more serious side, her RomComs are my catnip and this one was all kinds of awesomeness. From the way the story played out to the interesting situations that occur throughout the story to Julia and Bram themselves, this was a great story. But, the cherry on top of this sundae belongs to three of the supporting cast of characters. Roarke, Rath and Linus were kind of everything. These three brought so much to the story, I’m crossing my toes that they will be getting their own books down the road because I simply NEED more of all of them!

Meghan Quinn for the slow burn win once again! Bram fell for his best friends sister back in college and now years later has decided to make his move. He holds nothing back when he goes for Julia and I love his determination and fabulous filthy mouth! Julia is a bit blinded to his intentions and takes a bit of coaxing but the chemistry between them is hot hot hot! Great story for these two.
