Is it possible to keep a life-changing secret from your family and friends when it is burning you alive from the inside out?
One week.
It didn’t seem possible that a person could change in one week yet after only seven days spent with the mysterious Frenchman in Los Cabos, Mexico, Giselle was moving to New York City a changed woman. Confident, sexy and in charge, Elle is ready to take on the … ready to take on the challenges she knows await her when she reunites with her family and begins her career as an artist in earnest. If she is a little heartbroken at the prospect of never seeing the cool and dominating Sinclair again, she’s braced for it.
That is, until Sinclair shows up in her mother’s kitchen and Giselle discovers just who his ‘darling’ girlfriend really is.

People say that curiosity killed the cat. Giselle knew that what she felt for Sinclair wasn’t right but she couldn’t stop what she felt. Even when she figured out who the ‘darling’ girlfriend was, the pull was still there. Throughout this book, I felt Giselle’s pain at having to hide. The secret was too much. The way she felt towards Sinclair at times was utterly painful. But what made me love Giselle was that she threw her own pity party and then immediately put on the big girl panties. The reality of her situation would have some people cut and run but she tried to face it. Sinclair…. I still loved the man but he needed to do better.
What am I reading!?!? I’m tortured through the first several chapters of The Secret, the second book in The Evolution of Sin series, my heart racing at the knowledge revealed. I don’t want to say too much because the discovery is an important one. The emotions on the page lovely and heartbreaking. The story is exciting, sexy, layered, angsty. The push and pull of the attraction and chemistry is intense. The behind the scenes evil that’s lurking makes you edgy. It’s the kind of romance that gets the heart beating and spurs the impatience to get to the conclusion. It’s a sweet ride. Next up – The Consequence. I can’t wait!
5 SCORCHING HOT STARS!! OMG….I was screaming in the first chapter of this book and I could not put it down. I finished this phenomenal book in about 4 hours and ready to start the third book in the trilogy. This is the second book in The Evolution of Sin Trilogy, you must read the book 1 The Affair first. Giselle and Sinclair’s story continues and it is scorching hot leaving you salivating for more.
“You have free reign to dissect my soul, it is yours to do with as you please.”
Gah!!! As of the end of this book I am freaking the f*ck out! My heart pounding in my throat. The butterflies (actually more like bats) flapping a mile a second. Giana has got me on the edge of my seat. I am so into this story that I really cant wait (and I dont plan to) to get into the conclusion of Elle and Sinclair! All I can say is that I am so happy that I did not get into this trilogy until it was completed. I could NOT imagine having to wait for the next book to come out!
Well…..that was one twist I did not see coming, especially right at the beginning of the story. Definitely something that complicates things in ways that neither Sinclair or Giselle could have imagined; but it’s quite obvious that neither one of them will be able to keep their love for one another a secret for very long.
The Evolution of Sin series continues. Giana continues to astound me with her writing style. I’ve never wanted to visit New York more than I have now that I’ve read this one. I loved the character development and the introduction of more characters… I’ve had SEVERAL questions answered and now have new questions formed in my mind. I am excited to start The Consequence. Definitely recommend this one as well!
Book 2 of the trilogy- be sure to read The Affair first. I loved this one even more than the last! I’ll always find it impossible to condone cheating, but the human emotion is absolutely real. And truthful. And broken. And let me warn you… the last paragraph of the book is ! You’ll need to have The Consequences ready to read immediately!
Cannot be read as a standalone.
This book is super sexy! Now… if you hate stories about cheating, you probably won’t enjoy this. If you love angst and forbidden romances, you’ll probably love this!
Giselle and Sinclair fight a forbidden attraction. An attraction that can damage other bonds and promises made in the past.
Powerless and hungry, they fall into sin together.
I couldn’t get enough of this story. I found the scenes absolutely delicious.
I’m diving into the next book!
