thanks to Lorios publishing for the pdf download oft he secret of the quilt I voluntarily reviewed this story it was a great story . Kim is expanding the nursery/garden center with the help of rob along the way they find a little odd shop with some quilts for the shop and buy them one was free to the right person a lot of romance with some mystery a lot of twist and turn’s I would recommend this story to my friends and family LAURA8759 .
Book 4 in this series is more romance than mystery. It has a mystery, though it’s rather weak and really isn’t all that interesting. It feels forced. This is a mystery/romance series, so book 4 had to have a mystery. Why not force it?
As it was with book 3, the romance feels more genuine and fleshed out than books 1 and 2 did. I did enjoy learning about old marriage quilts though. It brought back a memory of when I went to Centennial Village in Greeley Colorado as a kid and the women there were working on these types of quilts and teaching the class about them.
The narrator is good overall, but I’m always going to knock points for people who mispronounce basic words. “Onvelope” isn’t a word. Envelopes are called envelopes because they envelop something.

This book brought back some great memories of quilting with my great-grandmother and the stories we would discuss while we worked. While our stories didn’t really involve any mystery, this story telling made me feel like I was back there. This may be my favorite book that I have read/listened to so far this year. Both the author and narrator did a fantastic job and I thank you both for reminding me of the good times right around the 10th anniversary of her death.
I received a copy of the audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Book 4 in Swift’s Blooms, Bones & Stones series and I have to say I think this is my favorite so far. While this can be read as a stand alone, several characters from previous books in this series return in each so to get the most from these characters and their history I would recommend reading in series order if able. This book focus’ on main characters Kim and Rob who have been best friends. While Rob has loved Kim for years Kim is afraid to lose her best friend if the relationship changes. After visiting a creepy antique shop and getting quilts which Kim loves to restore things change and a mystery becomes one that needs to be solved. A fast paced, short read/listen but with plenty of detail. Good narration, smooth and easy to listen to without distraction (there was a blip where is sounded like the audio skipped but I didn’t feel like I missed anything story wise). An overall good read.
I received a free copy of this book at my request and I voluntarily provided this review.

Short story with a sweet message. The two main characters are best friends. They are given an old magical quilt. Unraveling the mystery of the quilt’s origins brought them closer to each other. Restoring the quilt to its original glory helped bring about their HEA. This is a fun story to listen to on the way to visit family during the holidays or as you wrap presents.
LOVELY SWEET STORY
Lovely sweet story sure to leave a smile on your face. Wonderful characters and an entertaining story. Recommended series.
This is the fourth novella in the Blooms, Bones and Stones Cozy Mystery Series. The story is well written. The characters are interesting, and the paranormal twist is intriguing. This is a sweet paranormal cozy mystery with a little romance. Ginger Sue did a good job with the narration. She has a beautiful voice. Looking forward to listening to The Secret of the Pendant, the next book in the Series.
A short and sweet cozy with a slight paranormal/magical feel. An old quilt in need of some repair brings together two people who have been best friends for years. Will this special quilt be the thing that moves their relationship forward?
Olivia Swift continues to give us interesting stories in this series. I’m already looking forward to checking out the next one.
Ginger Sue did a nice job with the narration. I enjoyed listening to her performance.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
The Secret of the Quilt (Blooms, Bones and Stones, #4), my fourth read from author Olivia Swift. A cozy mystery with a paranormal presence. The plot is consistent & clever steadily building to a satisfying ending. This is the book that I’ve most enjoyed in the series to date. Becky Boyd’s narration adds to the enjoyment. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.” The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to the next book in this series The Secret of the Pendant. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
