I liked the wide variety of characters including the dumb cops.
I enjoyed the story. Very entertaining. I liked the characters.
Great beach read.
Light and fun, characters were okay, and enough of a plot to be entertaining.
Great book.
This was a fun murder mystery with a romance included.
enjoyed – easy read
It was just very interesting and easy to pick up and start reading in the evenings.
Nice escape but forgettable.
I enjoyed it very much, the characters were interesting and it was easy reading.
A very charming story was fun chacters. CW
Good beach read
A fun book t read
So-so. Very young heroine acting immature. Good story but for Pete sake make them older and more seasoned
A fun read with realistically quirky characters. Interesting mystery.
A cat and 2 murder victims.
What I didn’t like is information about who held the deeds to the properties being bought. Just from my experience, small shopowners own their property and there was nothing explaining that these people didn’t own the land where their shops were or that they were simply renters of the buildings.
I love books about beach towns, especially cozy mysteries. This was a great read
Cute story. I liked the ending. It was an easy read with a charming coastal town and some twists and turns. The love story was predictable from the beginning, but lovely. You just KNEW these two were going to get together, which was fine. It was a nice change of pace from other books that drag the romantic interest on too long.
The characters were colorful and very enjoyable, I would love to visit a place like this.
There were three murders, but it doesn’t really delve into why each of them were murdered. We sort of know about two of them, but one is just a guess.
Someone mentioned all the capitalized words throughout the book. I have to agree it was a little too much. A few here and there are fine. Not a criticism, just an observation. It did not take away from the book for me.
I look forward to the rest of the series.
Good beach/vacation read.
