This was truly a good story!
Great read, couldn’t put it down. Anybody who loves mysteries and suspense you need to read this book, you won’t be sorry.
Kept me up so I could finish reading it! Easy read and nice twist 😉
I liked the main character. The twist was interesting and very possible. A good read.
I could not put this book down!
How others perceive us influences our self esteem. This is about a woman determined not to give in to negative opinions of people close to her. I admire her for proving to herself and others that she is a good and loving mother, not given to hysteria. This book held my attention. I recommend it.
Realistic and interesting characters and a great mystery make for a fabulous read.
This book well written spend the whole night reading could not put it down.
Just wanted to keep reading to find out what was going on!
EXCELLENT!!
Good book quick read!
Good character development with twists in the plot that keep you guessing until the end. Highly recommend.
WOW! JUST WOW!! I wasn’t expecting such a GREAT read… I read A LOT of books (4-5 weekly)- I’m nearly speechless about this book! It won’t be to everyone’s liking, but if you’re into psychologically twisted plots, you’ll LOVE this!! It’s a rare occasion when I don’t see at least a part of the conclusion coming- I genuinely didn’t see what was coming with this AT ALL!!!
I read the sample of this story just yesterday and knew I had to have it. I’ve just finished reading it and it was everything I thought it would be. It was sooo good! It was well worth the 99cents I paid. I started it last night and finished it today. I just couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book!
An interesting mystery, but not particularly “thrilling”. It was fairly obvious what was going on – the drama was in how Tessa found the answers. She did some quite stupid things such as going to a secluded house on her own. Some of the characters were quite cliched – the handsome Italian, the nosy reporter etc. But I did finish it and found it reasonably enjoyable overall.
This book was a good time; however, it was pretty far fetched. Granted, this is fiction and all, but I am doubtful the average Jane would go to these lengths and actually solve a real mystery. Tessa walks into her home to find a little boy in her kitchen. The boy is saying Tessa is his real mom. The problem with this is the public and the boy’s father do not believe she did not abduct this child, and now there are criminal charges pending. Tessa needs to prove she is telling the truth. Tessa’s boss is the BEST, and Tessa’s ex-husband is a schumuck. A good, quick read!
I enjoyed reading this. I was able to guess the story line early on which made me want to get to the end to find if I was right.
I don’t like the title of this book or the byline (and would not have read it if I hadn’t gotten a couple of strong recommendations), but I’m glad I did. It’s a compelling story that proceeds at breakneck speed. I watched in fascinated horror as this likeable young mother’s life unraveled in a series of unfortunate but believable events. It was a great read.
Quit reading it midway. It just wasn’t good enough. Too many really well-written books out there to waste time on this one.
Unfortunately, I guessed the ending before I finished reading
