Mum’s the word when a mummy goes missing… And where’s the body of the pharaoh who had been laid to rest inside?
The current king wants answers and wants his father’s remains or things might just get ugly. To solve the murder and find the missing mummy, Ella and her friends put their sleuthing skills to the test—all while minimizing their impact on history and keeping Flo’s explosions to a minimum.
A laugh-out-loud mystery full of adventure, twists, coffee, and friendship.
This is book eight in the funny, quirkyTraveling Town Mystery series.

I laughed so hard through most of this book! Ella is just hysterical! And Flo and Wink added in, just a snort laugh fest! The mystery was amazing and well thought out. Things happened that I never saw coming. The ending made me so happy! I really love to read about this traveling town.

Ella is elated to find Keystone has traveled to Egypt. Venturing beyond the boundary may become dangerous, however, especially when murder threatens to change history. I enjoyed reading this novel and loved the author’s note of some historical facts and the literary liberties she took writing this entertaining mystery.

Another Fun Installment
I’ve only recently discovered this series, and I absolutely adore the premise. The author is so clever to have come up with a concept that feels fresh but completely understandable. We’re all familiar with time-travel stories, but this series not only has a single person time travel but an entire town and some of its surroundings! What I like, too, is that the residents of this town are very aware that they should not mess with the time-space continuum and alter history. There rarely seems to be that awareness in most time-travel books. And what a quirky, funny cast of characters it is. I appreciate the humor woven in with the historical and mystery aspects. In this installment, the town goes to ancient Egypt at the time of the pyramids when a pharaoh is being entombed. Certain members of the town can’t help but be curious, and that’s when things start to go sideways! The good folks of Keystone have to figure out what happened. The author had to do a fair amount of historical research, as that feels accurate. A great blend of history, time travel, and mystery.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
Keystone, the travelling town, stops in ancient Egypt, just when a pharaoh is being put to rest, This involves them in local politics, and when one of their own is found with grave goods and a mummy goes missing Ella and her misfit friends try to find out what really happened.
Strange and fascinating, this story is even more a blend of history and cozy mystery, of course within the theme of time travelling.and the possibility of altering history. An entertaining, crazy story, that is quite enjoyable

I love the premise for this series. Imagine an entire town along with the surrounding woods and lake time traveling. The characters in this town are just that. Characters! Some normal, others eccentric, and all wonderful. When the town ends up in Egypt after the first pyramid has been built, several historians sneak into the pyramid to see the newly buried king, but one ends up dead and trapped by a booby trap. When they find him, he’s dead in the pharaoh’s tomb, and the pharaoh is missing along with artifacts. The Egyptians have given the town only a few days to return the dead pharaoh and the artifacts. How could the pharaoh be taken and their historian be dead in the coffin in only a short time? I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
