I’m secretly engaged…to a man I’ve never met. I knew him by his handle, “August,” but he knew me by a flirty, nude selfie attached to an email. One lewd phone call became the first of many passionate exchanges. His voice made me burn for hours, but he was just a fantasy.Until he proposed.I’ve never kissed him. We’ve never had a date. I haven’t seen my fiancé, but I fell in love with him long … I fell in love with him long before I saw his face.
And when I finally met August, I realized he was the strapping, handsome ex-soldier he promised. Protective, loyal, and all mine…
All I have to do is say yes.
But there’s a catch. There always is. Even the perfect man comes with a price.
Author’s Note: This novel is the third in the Arrangement series, but it is a full-length, standalone romance.

OMG Vanessa loved it from start to finish, August and Lily story was full suspense, lies and deception and twists in there story keeps you wanting more. so with everything can they really get the HEA they both want or they apart. You just have to ONE-CLICK NOW to find out. A must read, I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy.
This book was quite interesting. The blurb really intrigued me and I was looking forward to reading it. This book though, it’s not what you would expect. There’s intrigue, heart breaking love, and people fighting against them. There are also lots and lots of secrets. I enjoyed this book greatly and read it in one day. However I did have a few issues. One of them really bothered me (and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was supposed to bother me). I was NOT a fan of Alex. I understand the animosity that Lily felt for August but it really bothered me that she was more than willing to trust some man who she had just met in a foreign country (seriously!) but she couldn’t trust the man she supposedly loved for not telling her the whole truth. She could have heart August out and then been smarter to NOT just go off with someone she had never talked to or knew anything about. Other than that I felt for both August and Lily. They really were in love but people (ahem Alex and the general) kept saying things to Lily to mess with her head. August had a lot of anger inside of him and I can understand why but I wish he had stepped up and fought for her love and attention more instead of waiting. All in all I really enjoyed this story and was glad I took a chance on it.
Compelling, gripping and intriguing from the very the first word.
I highly recommend reading this book.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.
“No one has ever made me feel this way before. I’m saying yes. I can’t wait to meet (and marry) you. Let’s do this.”
This was on-line dating to the extreme! A Pretty Woman-esque tale of the woman at her lowest, finding her prince charming – coming to take her away from it all. Or is it?
Lilly Osborn never expected to be here. Living like a squatter in a warehouse encampment, barely scraping by. She had bigger plans than this for her life. Starting up a chat with a man named August was just an escape from her hum-drum life and newly found single-hood. A few flirty texts, some NSFW pictures, a little cyber-release -all just fun. Until he proposed. She’s never met him but is this her ticket out? He’s handsome and has promised her the world. If she says no, her life remains a prison to her – one she may never escape. If she says yes, her whole life could change. What she doesn’t realize is how much. Finding herself trading one prison for another, she no longer knows who to trust. Was this all a scam, or does August really love her? Does she listen to her head or her heart?
I liked this story. I did find it a little on the unbelievable side though. If I were in Lilly’s shoes, and found out the truth, I would have been terrified, not torn between terror and wanting to jump in bed with August. I certainly wouldn’t have accepted a proposal from someone I’ve never met. I never trusted August so I never really connected with he and Lilly as a couple. But this is fiction, and it doesn’t always have to be believable to be entertaining. There is an HEA so at least it all works out!
The Secret Arrangement is a new hit for Vanessa!! I enjoyed Lily and August’s story. I was swept up from the very first email they sent. Their connection is smoldering and page turning. It definitely has all the emotions and twists and turns and very well written!!
