Former Navy SEAL Colin Vale is looking for a woman. Not just any woman, though. He wants one who will be a good mother to his adopted daughter, Sofia. Someone steady and reliable who will give Sofia the kind of stable, happy childhood he didn’t have. That woman is not Lily Rhodes, Sofia’s new nanny—a free spirit whose top priority is chasing her dreams. But despite Lily not checking off any of … the marks for what he wants, Colin can’t fight his attraction to her. To Colin, who thrives on regimentation, Lily’s priorities seem utterly alien. So why does he find her whimsical nature so darned appealing? Even while he goes out on a series of dates to find the perfect wife and mother, he can’t stop thinking about Lily…
As the oldest of eight children, Lily’s early life was full of responsibility and expectations. The last thing she wants is to settle down before she has a chance to explore, to live. That doesn’t mean she isn’t wildly attracted to Colin, though. How could any red-blooded woman not be attracted to a man like him? He’s the hottest guy she’s ever met and a loving father to Sofia… but this gig as a nanny is temporary, just a way to make money until she can do what her heart truly wants. The problem is, the longer she stays, the more her heart is turning in another direction—and that scares the daylights out of her. She doesn’t want to be tied down, yet how can she even think of leaving?
So when she’s offered an opportunity that would bring her time with Colin and Sofia to an end, Lily is forced to make a life-altering decision and decide what her dreams truly are.

If you want an example of opposites attract this is one, Colin ex navy-seal and Lily, teacher and creative artist, but these opposites don’t keep them from falling but does it work out for them. Colin needs a nanny for his adopted daughter Sophia and there is Lily, perfect for the job. And the rest is history…..

Colin is a former SEAL, now working at a security company he owns with his brothers. He’s also single dad to Sofia; he adopted her when her mother – his good friend – died. He hires Lily to be her nanny, providing salary and a living space. That works out well because Lily’s neighbor is giving her the creeps. Lily falls in love with little Sofia immediately, and Sofia with her. Colin is dating, trying to find a wife for himself and a mother for Sofia. None of the women he meets see acceptable. All he can think of is Lily. She’s not staying forever, just until she figures out what she wants in life. I really enjoyed this book. Colin and Lily are so different – he seems a bit uptight and she’s a free spirit – but sometimes opposites do attract. Sofia is adorable and precocious, a sweet little scene stealer. There’s suspense and action, relating to Lily’s creepy neighbor who’s stalking her. I’m looking forward to the next in the series.

Another Vale brother gets his perfect family. Colin Vale, former Seal and father of an adopted daughter Sophia, needs a nanny. Lily, former teacher, is looking for something to feed her soul and she loves anything to do with art, but became a teacher when her academic parents made light of her interest. But now she is done with pleasing others and wants to pursue a career using art. So being a nanny during the day gives her the chance to take art classes at night. As she and Colin settle into their arrangement, feelings come into play. Colin wants to make her his wife, but she keeps talking about pursing her dream, and it doesn’t include him and Sophia. What neither Lily nor Colin knows is that Lily has a stalker, and if he is successful, none of their dreams will come true. This was a wonderful story of opposites attract. Free-spirited Lily has spent too many years allowing her creativity to be stifled as a teacher. Colin’s chaotic childhood meant that he flourished under the structure and discipline of the military. Can these two find enough common ground to give Colin’s adopted daughter the best care? And can Colin put their differences aside to protect Lily when a stalker sets his sights on her. A perfect blend of suspense and romance, the story kept me glued to the pages to see if Colin and Lily would get their perfect happily ever after.

Colin had been looking for a women to take care of his adopted daughter Sophie. She went out for the job interview as a nanny knowing it would not be a long time arrangement. She was not looking for anything permanent and she wanted to make her own way without her fathers help especially after he did not support her lifestyle of adventure and free spirit. Lily was glad she was moving away from her creepy neighbor. Colin was getting use to Lily living there taking care of Sophia but he knew he was starting to feel a little for Lily but it would never lead to anything. Colin and Lily slept together though they both knew it could not lead to anything. In fact, Colin went out on dates with a couple of women who Lily knew in fact one she had set him up with but he cancelled. Meanwhile Lily had a stalker and Colin finally realized it was the man he had seen around. Twists, turns and quite a few surprises
This is the second book in The Admiral’s SEALs series. Colin is ready to settle down and find a woman who fits him and his adopted daughter, Sofia. Lily is Sofia’s new nanny and she is the perfect match for Sofia but she is way too free spirited for Colin. Lily is the oldest of eight kids, she was the built in babysitter for her siblings. Now, she just wants to be free and enjoy life. The attraction between these two is high but they are so opposite. Life can change on a whim and a twist on the story forces a choice. An entertaining story to see how two opposite characters can find a compromise and love. Enjoy!
