Awesome book! I love anything to do with babies. David and Eleanor have been best friends for years. Eleanor wants a baby and doesn’t want a traditional family so she asks David to be the baby daddy. David has always said no kids due to his line of work but things might change.

Eleanor (Ele) wanted a child. Her ex-husband was not father material. And she didn’t want to go looking for a man to father her child that would end up like the ex. So she asked her friend David to father her child. Contract and all so he wouldn’t feel he was in any way obligated to help her with the child. Two years later and a toddler girl, Ele meets David again when she is in a small African nation to photograph a rare butterfly. David has been a SEAL for years and he is in the nation to try to keep an uprising for breaking out. The current ruler is dying and his son is off in the arctic. If the father dies before they can get the son there, the uprising could some. That means that Ele and her daughter would be in danger. But can David keep himself from becoming involved with Ele again and getting to know his daughter. A daughter he had signed a contract to have no interaction with. Ele is fighting to maintain her independence without regard to the danger she is putting herself in. Just to get some pictures. Can David and Ele survive these few days?
Intense feelings. Threats of war. Danger. Exciting read.

Strong Woman bringing down the SEAL! This story is about Eleanor and David. They have been best friends since elementary but they never shared their secret love for one another. David is a SEAL and he has now agreed to help his best friend Ele the only way he can by agreeing in a lawyer’s office to get her pregnant and have no rights to both her and the baby they make. Several months pass by and she ends up in Africa on assignment to take pictures, but ends up bumping into David. This is the point where the story takes off and it is where you will not want to put the book down until you reach the end! Although he knows she had the baby and it was a girl that she named Rose (which has a significance) he had not seen baby Rose. The interaction between them is so sweet and lovable. Danger happens to come to them and he is captured…well I won’t spoil the rest of the book. I love this book as it not only deals with love, but suspense, a bit of reality in a different form. This book will not disappoint, pick up a copy…

Same baby contract as is in other books but better much better storyline and better written. I love that David is such an honorable SEAL and when he signs his name on the contract that lays out the terms that he is nothing more than a sperm donor albeit he gets to do more than fill a cup… Eli has always loved David but she thought that their friendship was all he wanted from her. Because they are such good friends, she feels comfortable asking him to help her conceive a baby. Fortunately (or unfortunately) conception happens fast and neither of them realized how much they miss the intimacy they got to experience during their brief romantic time together The book has many unpredictable twists and turns that will keep you hoping and guessing that they would eventually find their HEA but at times it seems out of reach. I loved this book, ‘nough said!
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Fast paced story with an engaging storyline. Eli wants a baby and who better to have one with then her best friend David. She’s had a messy divorce and he doesn’t want a lasting relationship. David is an honorable man and after he signs the contract that he will stay away from Eli and the baby. You need to read this story to find out if they ever get their HEA. Adventurous, intense and emotional story. There were times that both characters frustrated me. Ele is too brave for her own good and David is brave for real when he thinks it really counts. Realistically, emotions are always a deal-breaker when best friends “cross the line” things are never the same regardless of they may say or think. Her job innocently waltz’s into his job and the heated challenge for control is on right in the middle of a war zone. The baby is so sweet, love it when best friends become more.

Well written story, very entertaining and enjoyable.
Ele and David known each other since they were a kids. They have a feeling for each other too.
Ele wants a child but not the relationship so she ask David for help . As strange it’s looks he agrees to that.
Secretly they are hoping for more. Will they get it?

This was a good best friends to lovers romance that will take you on an emotional roller coaster. This is Eleanor and David’s story. Neither wanted a relationship or a long term commitment. She wanted a baby and needed a baby daddy. It’s told from a dual POV which is great as it gives you a better understanding of each of their feelings. Per their deal he agrees to help her ‘make a baby’ and then he’s out of the picture. Fate brings them back together in Africa. There’s a lot of danger and Ele is not aware of how serious the situation is and David comes to the rescue. I could not believe that she actually brought a baby into a war zone. She was independent to a fault and irritating at times. But love wins out and there’s an HEA in the end with no cliffhanger. “I received the ARC from Bad Boy Update” and ichose to review.
This, for me, was such an emotionally gripping story. To sign such a contract then deny themselves what they truly wanted. Only to fall back into each others lives and still deny their own happiness.
I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.
I would highly recommend.
Happy reading!

This is an action packed best friends to lovers romance between Eleanor and David. Their relationship takes a turn when they sign a baby deal. The authors do a great job building their story as they take them on an adventurous journey filled with suspense and danger as well as the sexual tension between the two as they fight their feelings for each other. It’s told in the dual POV which I love as it gives a more in depth feel. It’s well written with vividly painted scenes and has a few supporting characters who help to bring the story around. It’s an interesting and exciting story and I enjoyed reading.

All the potential in the world, the developing storyline was interesting and had the makes of a wonderful novel; however, I never could become engaged with my attention fully invested. I will definitely have to give this story another try later on.

I really liked this book. The best friends and a baby contract and their separate lives that intersect with all of the action and terror of a country in strife. There were amazing character and a good storyline. This book was also a good length and had a few good life lesson too.

This is a story with a solid storyline and good characters. The characters seem well put together and thought through, and that goes for not just the leading characters but for all of them we get to know in the story. The scenarios are good as well. Overall the story is well balanced and it was quite fun to read. It´s length is such that you hardly go through it in one evening but that is not a bad thing with a good story, but of course it depends on your speed of reading. I am giving this story beautiful four stars because it was well written and it was good to read it and of course it came together as I believe it was supposed to.

This book was beautifully written and is one of the best I’ve read. Ele is a wonderful person full of responsibilities and trying to juggle parenting and work on her own. Enter the baby daddy, who also happens to be a really good friend she hasn’t seen for two years and all bets are off.
If you love a friends to romance story full of action, this is for you.

Loved the fact that Eleanor and David are best friends and have been most of their lives. When Ele decided she wants a baby she decided that David is the only one she would consider as being the father, so she has a contract written that basically cuts David out of her and the baby’s life. David doesn’t agree but since that is what Ele wants he goes along with it. When they meet up 2 years later he still doesn’t agree but tries to go according to the contract. Being in a war zone he tries to keep them safe but Ele fights him all along the way thinking he’s just being bossy and trying to control her not realizing the true danger they are in.

A very enjoyable book! This writing author duo is always fantastic!
I liked the interactions between the main characters of Ele and David and I loved how David’s paternal instincts kicked in as he spent more time with his daughter Rose. My only questionable part of the story was when Ele took Rose with her on the photography stint into the African rainforest. Really?? There was a whole slew of reasons not to do that! This was a very good book nonetheless and I was thrilled that there was a great epilogue!!

The Seal’s Baby Deal was another great read by this talented author. David and Elle were endearing characters with great chemistry. The suspenseful storyline flowed seamlessly from the beginning until the end. I can’t wait to read the next book.
